I'm trying to create a profile view band style to display a gradient as a fraction i.e 1/100 rather than a % I've tried creating an expression to do this ( see below) the sum works but I don't get a solution/answer just the sum displayed on the band.Basically the sum is length/change in elevation
for clarification / = divide
Expression
(<[Pipe Start Chainage(Um|FD|P3|RN|AP|GC|UN|Sn|OF)]> - <[Pipe End Chainage(Um|FD|P3|RN|AP|GC|UN|Sn|OF)]>) / (<[Start Invert Level(Um|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|Sn|OF)]> - <[End Invert Level(Um|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|Sn|OF)]>)
Since switching to Inventor 2013, all my colors that I had set in all my parts are a little off from what they should be. Especially white. All colors in 2013 that should be white (white, porcelian, snow) are all a shade of gray and no matter what I do to adjust it, it always is gray.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have CS5. The bugs and broken features in AICS6, make it unusable in my workflow.
I am specifically concerned about the inability to drag global color swatches from the color panel to Gradient stops in the Gradient Panel. I use this method to update a gradient color because I find it MUCH faster than option-dragging to duplicate a stop color, then deleting the unused stop. Since I do this constantly, I find using CS6 very tedious.
I want to change my elevations color to green and the other one to yelow. I can't not find this option. I using 3D 2011.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently picked up Photoshop CS6 and i'm having a weird problem regarding the color cyan.
Whenever i use this color it appears as black.
How do i get this fixed??? im clueless
EDIT: When i drag the window im working in around the colors appears as normal but as soon as i let the window go, the cyan turns black again.
I just installed CS3 in Windows Vista Ultimate x64 on my PC and I have my working color space set as sRGB. The color is dull when opening documents in any Adobe application with the working color space set to sRGB. The color is fixed if I change the working profile to my monitor profile which is "Monitor RGB - Dell 2407WFP-HC"
When in the "Monitor RGB - Dell 2407WFP-HC" profile whenever I open an existing file Photoshop alerts me that the embedded color profile is different than my working profile (all of my existing files are managed as sRGB and on my previous computer the sRGB profile looked perfect.)
Photoshop I could theoretically live with but the same problem occurs in Acrobat and changing the "Working Profile" in Acrobat has no change on how the sRGB managed PDF is being displayed. The same PDF will look fine on another computer.
How do I get sRGB color to display correctly in Adobe applications and not look dull and muted?
Additional Information: The problem is still prevalent when accessing the computer with Remote Desktop which leads me to believe it has nothing to do with my monitor or the video card I am using.

I have Inventor professional 2011 & AutoCAD 2011.Both these programs are showing the same error. This is only affecting one PC out of 20 installed with the software
The text beneath the icons at the top of the screen appear as empty rectangular boxes. It would appear to be unable to render the character (as if it was a foriegn language set)
The PC language is set to UK English as is the keyboard.
Whenever I open a photo with my Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, I get the following message:
The monitor profile “LCD color management and conversion” appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software.”
Following the message are 2 buttons: “Ignore Profile” and “Use Anyway.”
What do I need to do?
I'm running autocad 2013 and it has some nice hatching options, but when I go to plot them with general layers that are setup to plot in black, they print in color. I have a monochrome.ctb file i'm using and if i plot regular lines they are fine.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe color space on the selected images appears to be changing when I use the Lightroom flash gallery in the web module of LR4.1. This stays the same when the gallery is uploaded. In previous version of LR I have seen color changes in the web module but they have been corrected (and correct) when the gallery is uploaded to the 'net.
I have read that this was (previously) a problem with the flash gallery specifically becuase it was not colour magaded, but I understood that this had been corrected for LR4. As far as my use is concerned it's actually more problematic now than it has been previously.
I don't know if it's a bug...
When using dual units on a drawing ( millimeters and inches for example) the symbol "diameter" is no reproduce in the second unit ... see pictures below!

When I add an image to my sketch the main body then appears "of the ground" as you van see from the attached screen shot. The shadow and reflection is distant. The minute I remove the instead image the object and the shadow touch again as it should be.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm working on an exploded presentation file and have finished all of the tweaks for each piece. One day, when I opened it up to do some work, there appeared a duplicate assembly model floating in the middle of my work space. The duplicate does not appear in the model browser and is completely Black. It dissapeared a few days later, but the next day, when I opened the file, it was there again.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter saving a part from libary as 'user-defined' to edit it, it still appears with the symbol for 'standard part' (blue T): Means I cannot move it around to sort the parts in the 'tree' or from a folder to another and so on.
Open the part and it has a normal component part symbol. But still not in the assembly. I sometimes cannot change properties in the parts list. The name is different from the name in the folder (pictures).
Second thing: Using 'copy' to copy a assembly into a new folder, the user-defined part still behaves like a standard part and will not be copied as a normal part. - Not exactly what I need, when I make a part 'user defined'...
I typically use basic ISO fastners in conjunction with the bolted connection generator. Just now I have discovered the ability to add a custom library to the content centre. This appears fantastic as I no longer have to sift through the 10 - 30 or so items available in each category to complete my bolted connection.
However I am experiencing a delima
I have created a custom library called "My Favourites" and it contains 6 bolt families, 1 spring & flat washer family and 1 nut family. All families are derived from the ISO standard (bar the spring washer which is DIN 128) and all thread pitches for the respective nut and bolt connection(s) match.
The problem I am experiencing is when I execute the bolted connection command I can add the bolt, 2 flats and 1 spring washer yet when I come to close the connection with a nut the nut selection box is empty?
I have the active project configured with "My Favourites" "Inventor Feature" & "Inventor Routed Systems" as the only in use libraries. Secondly, I have verified the existance of the nut(s) in "My Favourites" in the Content Centre Editor.

I have one Inventor Pro 2012 SP1 user who is trying to insert a bmp image into a sketch so he can create a decal and the image appears blank and gray. See the attached screen capture. We converted the bmp to a jpg and we get the same result. When I insert the bmp into a sketch on my workstation and it views correctly. I've logged into the same workstation as the user who is having the problem and the image also views correctly. I tried to change the file associaiton from Microsoft Picture View to Paint and I get the same result.
Here are his workstation specs:

Our team is doing program customization in Inventor 2011 that extract drawings based on 3D model. When the program runs and reached the line that has either open, close and save method, Inventor program automatically terminated and “Inventor Send Error Report” appears. When we tried to debug the program and when it reached the line that has either open, close, and save method, we force to exit our customized program but the same case, when it is totally terminated, Inventor program also terminated and “Inventor Send Error Report” appears. When we investigate the problem, we tried several solutions such as setting the active document to new variable, added a method to pause the program for few seconds, etc but still no effect. Our machine is using: Windows XP Pro x64 SP2 Intel Xeon(R), 6 GB RAM Is there a VBA for Inventor that is intended for 64 bit machine? Because I think we use 32 bit VBA in Inventor. What does “Inventor32bitHost.exe” means in task manager? Is there any relation to Inventor VBA?
