One of the computers running Inventor in my educational setting has all of the menus options show as squares. A screen shot is attached. In Application Options everything is set the same as the other computers and Tahoma is the font. Yet the menu does not appear as Tahoma.
View 1 RepliesI'm wondering if there is a way to disable the menu that appears when you hover over polyline nodes/vertices in Autocad 2011.
I use mainly typed commands and am finding that when I select a polyline, I go to type a command and because my mouse is still on the polyline, half the time it ends up performing a completely different command because the menu has appeared in the meantime.
I've done a grading "applying to entire lenght" but after done that I realized that I needed to do some located contentions. Is it possible to edit the grade for not applying it to entire lenght?When I go to the modify tab, edit grading, it does not appears the option "apply to entire lenght?"

View 2 Replies View RelatedOne of the designers at our office has problems with what I believe is a missing font. We tried to reinstall Inventor but it did not solve the problem. Then we reinstalled the entire machine but the problem came back.What is the name of the font used in Inventors menus?

Everything is calibrated. That is not an issue.
When I work the photo (JPG, TIFF or PSD) to where it is what I want, the preview is darker in the print preview. Probably one f/stop in photo terms. And, THIS is how it actually prints.
What is causing that? And, is there a fix?
None of the "show paper color," etc. are checked, so that is not causing the difference.
3D option is not on my menu bar , and none of the tool setting show 3D options either. All Screen shots I have seen of Photoshop CS6 have this and I don't.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I click on the color palette to choose a different color, the cursor changes to the eyedropper tool, and every menu option greys out with the exception of the view menu, the window menu, and the "Photoshop Help" item in the Help menu. Whenever I try to select another tool, all i get is a beep, and nothing happens. On top of that all, I cannot exit Photoshop normally, Instead I have to do a ctrl+alt+delete and kill the process. I uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop, and it still does it. As far as I know, it just started happening one day (but that doesn't mean that I didnt inadvertently change an option of some sort)

The drop down options I use most frequently are Lighten and Darken. I would like to create short cuts to Lighten and Darken, such as Ctrl+Shift+L (Lighten) and Ctrl+Shift+D (Darken).
The tools panel menu bar does not appear to have a selection list in the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box.
How do I create these shortcuts.
I changed the mode to Classic but I still don't see an option for unrestrained crop. I'm using Photoshop CS6.

A few days ago, I suddenly cannot find the eyedropper to select color, either in type or color functions. When I click the color boxes, it now opens up the color menu with the usual sliders, crayons, specturms, etc, but no eyedropper.

When I try and send an attachment by email (Share - File Attachment) then my Outlook 2010 client is missing from the list of Email Client options. I only see the Adobe service and Windows Live Mail.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat to try on my computer to counter the frequent and destructive X5 shut downs that are happening. I've read about this problem in other threads, so I know it's not just me or my system.X5 shuts down many, many times every day. I don't think I've been able to work for 15 minutes straight yet without it crashing.
I am running a fast dual-core Intel, XP Pro SP3, 2 GB RAM, ATI Sapphire/Radeon 1GB card, oodles of hard drive space. I can run the hottest, most demanding games no problem. I run hundreds of other apps with no problem. I had no similar problem with X4 on this machine. I have no similar problem with other Corel apps, either.
X5 crashes still happen after I close down as many memory-resident apps as I can. I can't strip it down much further.I usually have a few (3-4) dockers open, one or two palettes, and my files include several bitmaps which may include transparencies or colour masks. I have about 650 fonts installed.
X5 shuts down on me many times during every work session. Sometimes when I am changing fonts, sometimes when editing bitmaps, sometimes when importing bitmaps, sometimes when applying a transparency. Bang - just shuts down. I can have Corelpaint open editing a bitmap and CD closes underneath it. I can open window to import a file and CD closes as I search the thumbnails. It closes when I click the change page tab.
Doesn't seem to be any specific act or function that closes it - it just shuts down. Gone. No warning. I lose everything since the previous save. Half the time the working file is corrupted, too, so I can't even restore it. I have to keep numerous versions on disk and use save-as with every save to keep just one alive.
I notice that the option to set memory usage has gone from the global options menu. Maybe it's bad memory management and we need that option back? I'd be happy to assign a higher percentage of RAM to X5.
I am trying to adjust the white balance using photoshop elements 11, all the information I have come across tells you how to do it using the camera raw plug in. This has been updated and still I do not see it listed when I click on the file menu. I take photos of antique gold lockets using a light house and even though the custom white balance is set on my camera the photos are still coming out too canary yellow. I need to be able to adjust the colors so that they are more antique rose gold looking and have been reading different articles and videos on how other people adjust the colors and would like to try a couple of the ways I have seen but am unable as the camera raw plug in is not showing up as an option.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought and downloaded PSE11. However, I don't think I disabled my virusware. It took an especially long time to download and I don't know if it downloaded correctly. My blur tool does not work and my "guided" options are not there. What is the easiest fix- uninstall and remove the serial number then reinstall using same serial number? My question with this is- how many times can I do this, and or is there an easier fix? I have PSE11 and LR4 and I am going back and forth between which one to use. I really need all the options to work from PSE11.
