Recently I had to re-install Inv 2011. Before I did this, I could stack my text. After re-install, it asked for my atuostack options (which i entered), and clicked "Do Not Show Again". Afterwhich the text did not stack (which is the opposite of what i told it to do). Now I cannot stack text at all. Even if i highlight, right click, and select stack - it doesn't stack. If I open a prevoius drawing with stacked text it shows stacked text, but if you edit the text field it shows the text as S<1/70>3#8s for 3/8.
How can I stack text in a custom sheet set property without editing custom properties and adding another line. The clients name is much longer than normal.
For some reason I cannot stack dimensions anymore. Even when I try to stack mtext it doesn't work. Is there something that may have been changed in dim styles or anywhere else that has caused this?
I'm looking to write a VBA macro that'll run through an entire assembly and list all the assemblies and parts that have a custom property like "Inhouse" set to a certain value (YES/NO)...
Any example of something that at least runs through a whole assembly?
In AutoCAD LT 2013, everytime I do something, little gray boxes explaining what I just did stack up on top of the "Type a command" box. Since you can't see thru, or work thru those little gray stack boxes I find myself constantly panning my drawing back and forth to work around them. It would sure make my drawing more efficient and less frustrating if I could turn off those little gray stack boxes. I've clicked around to try to find out if this can be done, but not knowing what they are called is making the quest a bit difficult.
AutoCAD insists on stacking fractions. I've tried everything I can think of to get the Auto Stack dialogue box to come up, but sometime I must have checked the "do not show me this again" box. I can't figure out how to reset the default to horizontal fractions.
I am presently working on a P&ID drawing and there are numerous small size pipes, valves and reducers and I would like to use vertical stacked fraction. I am presently emptying the attribute and putting a Mtext in its place. It is slow and troublesome.
How to get Mtext into the block editor so I can use it instead of single line text when I am creating block attributes?
How to set default to stack diagonally? It used to work automatically, but somehow it turn off so that every fraction I write needs to be highlighted and then converted by pressing the a/b button.
best way to stack 2d and 3d items together in the same document, and maximize the editibility...
I'm working on a digital room setting, and I have part of the room in 3d and part in 2d. So, for example, the walls, ceiling, floor, table, chairs and corner hutch are 3d, but the regular hutch and buffet server are in 2d.
- The table and chairs need to be in the foreground
- The regular hutch and server are behind the table and chairs
- The corner hutch needs to be behind all other pieces of furniture
So, you may be catching on by now to my little dilemna... I want all the 3D items to have the same lighting and reflect off one another, however, I need the 2d layers to somehow fit "inbetween" the 3d objects. The simple question is, how can this be done? Is there a way to mask the foreground 3D objects so that they appear to be in from of the 2D objects? My only current solution is this:
- Move the whole 3D layer (the scene layer) all the way to the back
- Make the final decision on the position of the table and chairs
- Hide all other meshes in the scene besides the table and chairs
- Render, so the edges are clean
- Load the newly rendered 3D layer as a selection (which loads the table and chairs only)
- Either create a new layer from the selection of the rendered 3D layer, or mask the 3D layer so that the table and chairs appear to be in the foreground
The method above means I can no longer edit/reposition/scale the 3D at all.
I'm doing macro photopgraphy and need to do a lot of focus stacking. I'm trying to determine the best way to stack images in PS, but there seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there. I've sucessfully stacked images using two different methods:

file -> scripts -> load files into stack edit->auto-align layers edit->auto-blend layers (stack images, seamless tones and colors)
how to stack gif files one on top of another if possible. I have 3 gifs that I want to stack in an L shape so I can have the bottom of the L for two of the files so as to compare them side by side.
I make heavy use of image stacks. After some time I want to clean up my catalog. Therefore I'm looking for a "reduce stack" feature like in "Photoshop Elements Organizer" that keeps the top image only and deletes all other images of the stack.
I make GIFs as a hobby. But what happen was that 3 days ago, I opened my Photoshop CS5.1 Extended version 12.1 (x64) and did the usual thing.
I went to Scripts and to Load Files into Stacks. I loaded my files and pressed OK. So here's the funny part, usually, the pictures will load by itself and eveyrthing will be in order. But what happen was that the layers load to around 6 to 7 layers and everything just disappear. Literally disappear. Like I didn't even load anything. No canvas, no images, nothing. I thought it was a bug or something so I reinstalled my CS5 but the problem remains.
So I try with my CS6 Extended version 13.0 x64. (That I barely use because I'm still more comfortable with CS5.) And the same thing happens.
I decided to Google it and nothing comes up. I do not know whether is it my laptop or something went wrong somewhere. This has never happen before for the amount of time I have CS5.
I even change my scratch disc space. Last time it was on (C) with around 20GB space and nothing happens. So I changed it to my D drive and it has atleast 150GB space. I even tried closing every applications I have to test whether is it something related to my ram. But nothing happens. The problem remains.

I have two photos that were taken at two different times during the day. Now the problem is, that these two photos do not equal 100% in their angle and therefore perspective. I wanted to know if there is a way to let photoshop put them on top of each other like it would do when creating a HDR, just without actually creating the HDR but do the "deghosting" and ideally also a geometric correction?
I'm editing hundreds of files that I can't batch process. I'm opening them in groups. GIMP is making me crazy by opening the files in a scatter over the desktop which requires extra steps in moving windows around in order to make my edits. Is there a way to open files in a stack instead?
I am a Mac user and have a printer that can print pictures 9 by 3 feet big, one sheet at a time. How to stack multiple images together in a 9 by 3 ft frame so that when they print out i can cut them and have a bunch of posters.
I use Aperture but am taking a look at Lightroom. In Aperture, if I have a stack of photos in a project and drag it to an album (similar to a Lightroom collection), the entire stack goes into the album. But in Lightroom, if I drag a stack to a collection, only the top photo goes into the collection. If I expand the stack, select all the photos, and drag them to the collection, then of course they are all in the collection but they become unstacked.
Is there a way to drag a stack to a collection in Lightroom, have the entire stack go into the collection, and have the photos remain stacked? I have tried modifier keys such as Option and Command while dragging the stack but that seems to ahve no effect.
Is there a reason, when working in the Library module, that I would not be able to stack? Have images in a Smart Collection that is built based on keywords and lack of "rejection". When I highlight a group of images and attempt to Stack, the all of the options are greyed out.

I am trying to stack a number of TIFF images. When I start the process, I cannot minimise the window or hot key into any other. I can get to other processes via the Start button but once up, they stay up unless I load something else on top of them. Left to itself, it can stay like this for several hours. It has got worse over time and the function has become unusable.I am using Photoshop CS5 64 bit. The computer runs Windows 7 64 bit SP1.

Task Manager says I am using 12% CPU and 28% RAM..The status alternates between 'running' and 'not responding'..I am not running any other applications.I am thinking that I do not have Photoshop set up properly.
Photoshop lets add multiple Smart Filters (SF) to the same Smart Object (SO), and define the blending mode of each SF separately.
Let's say I've a SO with two SF (Gaussian Blur and Median): it looks like they operate in stack, that is: the first filter (Gaussian Blur) is applied to the original SO, while the second (Median) is applied to the result of the first filter (i.e. the blurred SO). As a consequence, if you switch the order of the SF, the result changes. That's the way it is.
My question is as follows: is there a preference / setting hidden somewhere that would make the multiple Smart Filters of a single SO operate *not* in stack, but on the very same SO, letting the blending modes to do the blend? I doubt, but it's fair to ask.
I work in Max 2012 on a mesh who explode at some point when my stack is heavy, it can occur while I'm working on it or if I open the max scene. I had that problem in old version like 4.2 or 5 but apparently it's back.
Problem :I have a large number of ex-camera jpegs of the pages of a book,photographed at an archive where scanning is prohibited. A camera stand wasused, with the book supported on foam wedges. Consequently, both pages ineach image are distorted - i.e. each page of a pair is a trapezium.It is, of course, a simple matter to crop and apply the perspective tool(twice) to an image to restore the pages to their flat state. Doing it forseveral hundred images is a non-starter, and anyway that's what the machineis for.
Proposed solution : Import an image to the Gimp. Drag and drop a number of images into the same project - as many as themachine can handle. Link the image layers. Crop. Select one page and use the Perspective Tool to pull the page 'square'.Repeat for the second page. Export each image, working down the stack.
Result :Selecting the right-hand page and correcting the perspective works, in thatthe Gimp progressively works down the layers. But, although each right-handpage is correctly 'squared up', all the left-hand pages, other than the toplayer, are enlarged and cropped.
Software used :2.6 under Debian Squeeze. 2.8.2 under Mint 14.1 2.8.6 under Windows 7 All OS 64-bit.
I'm attempting to print one file directly from AI, CS5. Only part of the file prints, the design part, not the text. Then the printer spits out another page with this message.
This is an OKI C6150N, directly connected to PC via USB port. This file was origianally on Artboard 2. Artboard 1 (similar design) printed fine, Artboard 2 had the error. I created a new file with one Artboard, retyped the text, copied the design. Still same error while printing. If I save it to a PDF file, it prints fine from Acrobat. I recently upgraded to CS4, then CS5. I have never had this issue before.
