How do you open a .htm file and set it as the focused window within an Inventor VBA prog from a button on a userform?
I just want to add a quick page for a program I've cobbled together.
I am in the process of making a form that displays the parts to an assembly in a list file. When i click the part, i want to show a preview of that part on the form. What object in the VBA window should i be using? i cant find anything but im sure its a feature that is available

I have a .psd file that was created by someone else for my friends web page. The psd file is the background, logo, and navigational bar for her home page. Each button is a "slice" I think because there are lines around each button on the left side navigational bar (not a true navigational bar just created by buttons) and around the head and body etc. (The lines are blue if that tells you anything - each section is numbered with a little tiny icon that looks a little like the back of an envelope.)
My question - we wanted to change the word on one of the buttons - I did that saved the psd file - no problem. Then I cropped out the button that we had changed. When I saved it to the web (as a jpg) the button looks like a button (a box around it - not a line a raised area that looks like a button.) The other buttons do NOT look like a button (even though the layers are named buttons.)
How can I change it so it looks flat (not button like) like all of the rest of the items on the navigational bar.

Ive tried using the "microsoft common dialog box" it says i dont have a license to do it.. or something... the other way is to add a reference through tools, and with like "textbox5.text" something that made no sense...

is possible to retrieve the information of the reference in the iam file without open the file in session ? Opening with notepad the iam file, at the end of file, the references is contains in the planar text.

if i need to rename or change anything in the iproperties of ipt, im doing it from the vault.my problem is that, when i change something in iproperties of an ipt thru vault, i have to open the idw to update it.
as most of the iproperties in ipt shows in the idw.
its easy to change the properties in vault. but its deleting its purpose if i have to each idw to make sure i have the updated idw.is there a code where i can open all idw and save the same file and checking to the vault automatically?

I have to identify the idw files from many dwg files, sometime I just opened dwg file due to the same name with the idw file. (For project purpose, I need to save idw and dwg file in the same folder).
I hope I can open idw files only as I choose to open iam and ipt only, and remove *.dwg from File of types (*.dwg; *.idw).

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to export a 2013 Inventor idw file as a 2010 AutoCAD dwg file.
I use to be able to do this without any issues however I am getting the following error message which prevents me from exporting the file.
"Could not open the DWG template file. Please check the path and try again."
I am using 2013 Inventor Pro.
This export feature use to work fine when I used 2012 Inventor Pro. however when i try to do the same from 2012 I get the same error message.
I have checked the default templates file path in the Aplications Option menu and I have tried to set a default in the AutoCAD template file option under the export destination setting under the save Copy As function.
Is there a way I can open an idw file using ilogic? I would like to put the rule into a form, so that I can click a button in the form to open the idw for my assembly.

I'm trying to find out how to assign to a toolbar button the open command for a specific drawing.
The code I input at the cui is ^C^COPEN;"//server/subpath1/subpath2/legend.DWG";
The answer I get is
Command: OPEN
Command: //server/subpath1/subpath2/legend.DWG "
Unknown command "DWG"". Press F1 for help.
For some days when I press the open button or print button on the toolbar, Autocad LT 2008 does not respond until after two or three minutes and opens the window.
I noticed that this only happens when I have enabled LAN. The "plotter" that I use is shared by a print server and when I hit the open button, the default folder that shows me a folder on the server.
When I try to do a make components I get this error "Could not open default template file." All the Standard.xxx files are the designated folder and named appropriately. Plus I just used this command earlier today. I did do a "rebuild all" but I'm not 100% sure the problem came directly after that.

When I open a file in Inventor 2013 I get the error message "cannot open XML file" for 20 or more files.(See attachment) This has only been an issue since 2013 was installed. What do I need to do to correct this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble opening a step file. I actually opened it a couple of days ago fine but now when i try it tries to load for a few minutes then just crashes. I have tried other step files and they open fine.
The file is 260MB not sure if it will attach here.
