View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm testing out a Revit Server configuration with a local server on one site connected to a central sever at another site. So far the testing has gone fine but we've run into a snag. The public IP address at the site of the central server has changed because of a change in ISPs. Now I'm unable to figure out how to update the IP addres settings for the central server that the local server connects to..
I've tried running the install again but it won't run since the software is already installed. I've tried running a repair. I've tried logging into Revit Server Administrator but there is no option to change the IP address of the central server it connects to.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have in excess of 64,000 photos catalogued in Photoshop Elements 11 stored on a NAS drive in various folders such as: \10..253.20.37photo2013USA, \10.253.20.37photo2012Canada . The problem is that I have recently changed ISP & the internal IP address of the NAS drive has changed to \192.168.1.78 consequently the ‘location’ of files stored in the catalogue is now incorrect. I wondered whether I could do some form of update on the catalogue database file to replace 10.253.20.37 with 192.168.1.78.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was hoping to address a document within the collection by name alone but it never seems to work regardless of which name i use.
Dim oDrawing as DrawingDocument: Set oDrawing=Thisapplication.Documents.Item("TEST.idw")
or
Dim oDrawing as DrawingDocument: Set oDrawing=Thisapplication.Documents.Item("C:WorkspaceTEST.idw")
PS The document is not in the visible documents collection as i don't want the user to see me opening and closing the reference documents.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAm I able to change the workspace from 2D Drafting and Annotation to Autocad Classic? When I open the workspace dialogue box, AutoCAD Architecture is the only option. With AutoCAD 2010, the workspace dialogue box gave me three options: 2D Drafting and Annotation, 3D Modeling and AutoCAD Classic.
How do I get Autocad Classic as a workspace option?

I would like to change the workspace to black from gray?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using Photoshop CS5 on a Mac . I frequent between two workspace and want to assign different sets of actions to them. So my photography editing is done in one workspace and I'm using lot's of actions for that. When I switch to my scrap booking workspace I want to change the actions palette accordingly.
Im probably a bit anal and like my action palette a certain way and would like my actions to stay in a certain order. When PS freezes and I need to force quit it the order of actions is different again. I seem to recall that it is possible to save the content and order of the palette but cannot find it anywhere on the web anymore. I am saving my actions from PS to a folder organized by name but now I have to keep adding them by hand.
I open PDFs in Illustrator that were created in Autodesk Inventor. The default of Myriad Pro is applied and I would like to change that. I have made a new document profile and a new workspace, but the profile is only good for a new document. The workspace does not change the default type. I could save lots of time if I could change this behavior! I am working in CS6 on a 64-bit Windows machine.
Perhaps it is only a question of getting Illustrator to recognize Arial?
I just upgraded to CS 6 from 3. I do not like that Illustrator is dark gray. Is there any way I can change the view of it or am I stuck?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe grey text on black background is fine on my home computer but my little laptop screen, especially travelling with some sun glare on it, is very hard to read. I had hoped to do lots of editing while travelling but have eye strain instead. Can the panel background color and text color be changed to something with more contrast or does Lightroom have other "skins"?

Like the other posts Ive read in this Forum i did play with the workspace
now the Tools is gone and i don't know a way to bring it back
tried the PF8 trick a few times it says the workspace is back but no tools in the bar
I'm on the X6 trial why i'm waiting for my x6 delivery. How to get the tools back into the bar
After I figured out how to delete a project (why not just have a delete button in the Project Dialog box) that I didn't want created in the first place (apparently some missed option in the pack&go process) I now cannot delete the incredibly convoluted wokspace folder structure it created.
I deleted the project shortcut as was posted somewhere else and it no longer shows up in the Project dialog box. However, the workspace it created cannot be deleted. I had even removed the workspace from the project before I got rid of it.
I simply get a windows error that it cannot delete the folder(s). I am an admin of this entire folder structure and everything beneath it.
I have opened and closed inventor making sure the project is still not in existence. I have verified the workspace is not listed under any other project. No other user has been to this folder or opened any files even closely related to my work.
I can change page backgrounds to a darker color. the background of the whole workspace is really bright white, is there any way I can change the entire background to a darker color like neutral gray...like the Photoshop background workspace?

View 11 Replies View RelatedAutodesk Inventor 2013 won't let me create a project. The specified workspace G:Design does not exist.
This can result in unexpected default file locations.
Do you want to create the workspace?
and when i hit OK
Fail to create workspace G:Design.
You may need to change it to other place
I modeled a manipulator arm (much like a human arm, or for those who are industrailly sound, like KUKA KR5), and I intend to draw its workspace.
The easiest way to do this is if I go back from the end effector joint(that is my wrist), create a rotation about my wrist rotation axis and create a curve, take this curve and sweep it about my elbow rotation axis to create an area, take this area and rotate about my shoulder axis to create a volume and take this volume and rotate it about my torso axis to create another volume.
So my question is, is there any way I could do such a thing in Autodesk inventor?
I am using Autodesk Inventor 2010.
I understand how to select and hide surfaces and bodies using the model tree, but this isn't useful when my part has 50+ surfaces and solids and I'm forced to hover over each surface or body until the surface or body I want to hide is highlighted. This is possible using Soildworks but why not Inventor?

View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to easily determine if any file in a user's workspace is checked out from Vault?
I'm building an Inventor addin to clear files from a user's workspace. Before i delete any files I need to know if the user has any files checked out. I was hoping there was an easy way(inside of Inventor) to programmitically check if a folder contains any checked out files.

Is it possible to automatically divert Inventor to save to a specific folder within the workspace???
If a certain iProperty is set to yes, we want the user to save that file into a particular folder, if they try and save it elsewhere a message is popped up telling them an error has been made please try and save in the correct folder.
