When I first install My autocad Map 3D 2012 my workspace name are Planning and Analysis, 2D Drafting Workspace or Map Classic Workspace after I select reset button in option->Profiles tab My Workspace names are Drafting & Annotation, 3D Basic, 3d Modeling or AutoCAD classic. How do I get my profile to reset back Autocad Map 3d 2012?
View 1 RepliesI open PDFs in Illustrator that were created in Autodesk Inventor. The default of Myriad Pro is applied and I would like to change that. I have made a new document profile and a new workspace, but the profile is only good for a new document. The workspace does not change the default type. I could save lots of time if I could change this behavior! I am working in CS6 on a 64-bit Windows machine.
Perhaps it is only a question of getting Illustrator to recognize Arial?
I am using Autocad MEP 2010 and after a new installation when attemp to change default profile to my custom profile, I am facing ;

I have installed AutoCAD 2013 and Inventor and here is my problem. This versions of AutoCAD crashes a lot, usually related to making pdf's, but that, while problematic in itself, is a secondary issue and not the reason for my email. When it crashes, it rests all my custom work place settings, even after I have saved and locked them. Restarting AutoCAD takes a few minutes, but this is VERY annoying and time consuming to reset everything everytime this crashes. I have never encountered this problem with previous versions of CAD.

The goal is to use the 2D Drawing and Drafting workspace with this plugin.
For whatever reason, everything reset back to default in my application settings. The only thing I remember happening was that at one point my Inventor was not able to establish a connection to the server where the liscence is stored and it gave out an error message. Ever since then, everything was reverted to default.
how to change the look of the highlights in the assembly environment when selecting parts? I can't remember where it's at.

I can't reset the quick leader to its default value. I used to have a custom tool bar for that using the following command: (setvar “Dim DRBLK” “.”), and it worked greate. Now this command does not work with C3D 2012.
Now I'm stuck with the dot leader and I want to reset it back. I use dot and arrow head a lot.
What is the most current Civil 3D workflow recommendation from Autodesk, for people who are required to show and label three profiles: centerline, left and right gutter flowlines; on a plan and profile sheet for drainage review? The gutter flow line profiles are required to show their true longitudinal grade.
Just looking for the main salient steps at the conceptual level.
So I had to jump into the middle of a project. The Viewframes were already created but when I go to the plan and profile sheets for the viewframes the profile is not showing and I'm not sure how to choose the correct profile and display it in the corresponding plan and profile sheet.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a drawing with 13 profile views. 12 of them are working fine.
One profile view has 'lost' all its profiles. It should have one surface profile, and 6 superimposed profiles that are designed by layout in other profile views.
The profiles still show up in prospector and in the profile view properties, but you can't see them in the drawing. The profile view is on the same style as all the others, and the profiles are on multiple styles, but the same as their source profile and others in the drawing that are working fine.
I edited the alignment a little to see if that would 'jog the memory', then I turned all layers on and thawed. Still nothing. Then I superimposed a couple more profiles to see if they would show up. Again, they show in the properties, but do not plot in profile view.
I have a separate drawing with this alignment & profiles shortcut into it, and I'm seeing exactly the same behaviour there too.
How can I show two proposed alignments in one plan and profile sheet?

Came into work today to find my Illustrator CC has defaulted back to factory settings - keyboard shortcuts, workspace/panel setup, etc - all defaulted. Not only that, but the individual files I might use to revert back to my settings are gone.
Then I'm suddenly asked via a pop-up to log into my Adobe ID so as to validate my Illustrator CC. Again. Then, I find, for some reason I'm logged out of the Adobe Creative Cloud program. So I log in, hoping that'll do something.
Now I must re-do 100% of the customizations I've made to Illustrator's interface.
I'm using Adobe's Classroom in a Book. On page 12, the prompter to reset default preferences doesn't pop up, so is there another way to reset?

How the tools all have the option to reset to default. I was doing something earlier that required the selection tool and I saw that it had been changed, so I clicked to reset and nothing happened. All my other tools reset just fine.

Also, when i export to jpg the preset displays "custom" with cmyk color selected. My computer is having a hard time with designs of any size and takes forever to load the preview and export. When it finally loads the preview the design is not visible. if I select rgb color mode the design appears in the preview window and appears to load without any issues. I would like to make rgb the preset color mode. I have tried to select one of the default presets (high quality jpg) and save it but can't seem to figure out how to make it the default setting when i export to jpg.
