Feb 22, 2010I am adding curve label numbers to a parking lot to create a table with the curve delta/radius. My problem is that #9 is being skipped. Its going right from 8 to 10.

Oct 17, 2013How to sort curve table data by parcel and then curve length? Out here in Oregon, one of the standard ways of defining a curve table is to show the length of curve and have each curve in the parcel grouped together.
I have not figured out a way to do this in C3D. At one point, Sinc had started working on the issue for us, but I don't think he ever got anywhere with it (or at least it didn't get into his add on.
AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Error 607 / Inlet A9 Gutter Capture Curve Is Not A Valid Curve
Dec 31, 2013I have ran an analysis and SSA gave me Error 607 on the report. It says "Inlet A9 gutter capture curve is not a valid curve."
A couple things I did different from the video lectures...
I selected user define for the Tc to figure out Q. i computed those manually.
For the Inlets I have selected Maximum Capture Cutoff.
There are some inlets in this model I created that do not capture 100% of the flow so i created conveyance links to account for the bypass flow.Not sure why is not recognizing the Curve?
AutoCAD .NET :: Get Number Of Copies Value From Plot Dialog
May 3, 2012I have moved from VBA to .NET. Is there a way to access the "Number of copies" value as set in the Plot dialog? I know this value always gets re-set to 1, but I want to know if it is possible to get the value set by the user *after* clicking OK in the Plot dialog. "Number of Copies" does not seem to be exposed as part of the "Layout" object in .NET (nor was it in VBA). Is it available anywhere else? Is this stored in the registry, and if so where is it located?

AutoCAD LT :: How To Filter Out Excessive Number Of Scale Options In Plot Dialog Box
Nov 14, 2011I have recently started working on a project in metric and have a weird (to me) issue when I try to plot. There are literally hundreds, of scale options in the Scale popup, most of which make no sense to me. I know that I need 1:25, or 1:100 to fit on the page I am printing to. How do I remove or filter out all of the others such as 1:100 3_1_1_1_1_1? I don't even know what that notation means.

However, one of the most annoying features introduced in CAD 2010 is the 'disappearing' layer dialog box once you go to select a color. So you open the layer, create a new one, go to select a color just before you assign it a linetype, lineweigth and make it current, but as soon as you open the 'select color' dialog box and hover over it the layer window just goes. I know you can just make sure you do the color selection last, but what if you want to create three different layers and assign them a color ? you have to open the layer window 3 times and look for your layers...

From Windows 7 desktop screen, go to personalization and click on Window Color at the bottom of that dialog box. At the bottom of the next dialog box, click on Advanced appearance settings...At the bottom of the next dialog box, under Item: select Inactive Title Bar and change the color to your heart's delight. I just wanted it darker so I could read the folder names easier which are white text.

May 13, 2012I know this comes up A LOT in these and other fora; however, I just purchased and downloaded Photoshop CS6 as an upgrade from CS3 Extended. I have my full (24 digit) serial number, but the Upgrade dialog box will not accept the number as valid. What can I do? I paid $200 for this software and I'd like to be able to use it.

AutoCad :: 2013 / Open Drawing Dialog Box - Select Initial View
Jun 28, 2012I recently purchased AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013 and all of a sudden when I select "File", and "Open", the dialog box from which I am supposed to select a drawing file has a small "Initial View" box with a small check box to "Select Initial View". This box seems docked to the right side of the "Select File" dialog box but I am unable to select the check box. It seems to do nothing. Is this a glitch?

Jun 5, 2013Why is it that on some versions of cs6 when i select the "set foreground color" (or background), the color dialog pops up with the hex number selected allowing me to quickly ctrl+c it. However, on other computers - with the exact same copy of Photoshop (cloud based and fully updated) it does *not* auto select the hex number. I've looked through the settings to see if this is a feature that needs to be turned on/off but could not find it.

Apr 18, 2013I've written a script to allow you to select an image to replace any number of selected files. Each file starts out as an embeded image with a .note to determine where the basis of alignment for the new file should be (i.e. "top," "bottom," "left," "right"). You'll find the code below:

For some reason, the ".note" added at the end of the script gets erased once the script is complete. I can even get it to confirm that it applied the note to the image, but once it's complete, it's gone.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Curve Tag Precision
Jul 18, 2013I am working in AutoCivil 3D 2014. I have created a curve table for a plat of an allotment with the precision for the curve length set to "Normal Rounding". My problem is that we have to show data for the individual lot frontage as well as the total length of the right-of-way curve length. So the individual lot frontages must add up to the total right-of-way length.
If they don't, I have to make an adjustment to one of the lengths. If I change the precision of the tag syle, there is no change in the table. I have attached a screen shot to show my results. The left picture shows a "span" style with the tag and curve length with the precision "truncated". On the right, is what is in the table. I would like to keep the table dynamic and not have to explode it. I think my problem lies in the table and the only way this can work is if I can override the one length in the table. But I have not been able to do that yet.
