If I switch to an isometric view they are visible and exactly where I want them. what I may do to make these visible from the top view?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been using Photoshop CS6 for awhile now on a very stable iMac i5 with 16GB RAM on Snow Leopard but recently its behaving very badly. I am having problems with very minor tasks like transform, open, save, move, etc. Photoshop gets hung up and the wheel starts spinning. Typically this is a font related problem but I've done every maintenance task known to man and still having issues. I've deleted prefs, cleared out brushes, action, tools, repaired permissions, my fonts are all clean, has nothing to do with time machine or background tasks (that i know of) yet it still runs slow. This is definitely not a slow video card problem, I have an ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 with 16GB of ram and plenty of hard drive space. I've ticked off the "Use Graphics Processor" restarted and the problem persists....
SO, i thought maybe i need to update my OS and get up to speed with the new cat, Mountain Lion. Maybe its just not cooperating with Snowy cats anymore. I completed the upgrade last night and I'm still seeing beachball working on 72 dpi PSD files. I've worked on 3GB layered files in the past with no problems.
I am trying to install Photoshop but it get stuck and the system is hung near at 80%, I waited for more than an hour, tried many times but the same result. My system is a P4. 3Ghz 2GB DDR2 RAM.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWe have a house plan that has windows and doors of different types anchored to their walls. It seems that whenever someone is working in a file from the network that has the plan xrefed into it and the plan is opened to be modified by another user the windows and doors randomly detach from the walls. We're getting tired of going back in and reanchoring them.
(We're using Autocad Architecture 2009 on Vista)
The Look In: Drop down for Open drawing locks ACA 2014 up. I have to end task and reopen ACA to work.
2014 and Windows 8?
I have been trying to use my ERASE command in order to use a window polygon but I'm not getting the results in need. This is what happens....
I type in ERASE, then WP and from there I select my polygon shape and the items I want deleted. I don't join the last endpoint of the window with the first point I just hit ENTER twice but nothing happens.
Recently we had a user pose the inquiry regarding lost files from users when trying to save files to the network from the windows 7 computers. They would look and act like they were being saved to the mapped drive from the network but when they returned the next morning the work was gone.
<Verified environment and settings were all within specifications and supported>
Okay so to start with I have a building with 2 staircores. Everything is drawn in 3d and I have drawn the 2 staircores as elements and subsequently Xrefed these elements into the relevant constructs and subsequently a 3D model view.
When I view the elements as a live drawing (ie. when I open the individual elements) the drawing views okay in plan and in 3D wireframe, hidden mode etc... no problem so far!
When the drawing is Xrefed into a construct and subsequently a 3D model all of the windows and doors disappear... but in 3d only - ie. viewed in plan mode they are fine. I have checked the display configurations in the constructs and views and they are all set to display these objects in the medium detail and high detail for the model and plan modes.
In 3d wireframe mode the windows and doors can be seen within the wall but the opening which they should create is non-existent!This occurs in teh construct and view drawings.
Here's the catch.... I have a 'West Staircore' and and 'East Staircore'. Both are drawn as individual elements. The West staircore is giving trouble, but the East is perfect. They were both set up using the same DWT file which means that the default display configuration settings should be identical. This is backed up by the fact that they view correctly in the live element drawings.
When they are both Xrefed into the same construct, one is fine and the other will not display in the 3D model!
I am having a problem in an elevation view where the surface hatch covers the windows after I apply a Modify Roofline command in the construct.
When I look at the elevation in an isometric view you can see the surface hatch go through the windows. When I refresh the elevations after the construct xref is reloaded after Modify Roofline command the windows are no longer visible.
If I reset the modify roofline command in the construct, reload the xref in the elevation the elevation returns to normal.
I'd like to figure out why after the modify roofline command the windows are covered in the elevation but not in the construct view.
I just bought elements11, installed it and imported photos from folders, when i wanted to check/change preferences the program hung up 'loading' . my computer meets system requirments according to the box.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy problem is similar to the "send behind"/"bring to front" commands that you use when you're drawing. But my issue is this: what wastes a lot of time for me in the new program is when I try to work in multiple windows at once. (Btw, we don't have large screens to work with here.) Usually what I'll do is have, say, three or four windows up at a time, none of which are maximized, and usually have two that I'm working on side by side, with the remaining one or two sitting in the background. I also keep a lot of windows active, and minimized, so that's not the answer I'm trying to find. I work mostly in model space if that makes any difference, though I don't think it should.
Now, not only do the borders of each of my windows get all sorts of funky screen images on them when I move them around (mildly amusing but not annoying), but what really grinds my gears is that the orientation, or layering, or what-have-you, of the windows that I have active and open in the background is not retained. Let's say I have X-1 and A-1 up front and center, and I have A-3 and A-4 in the background. Let's say I had moved A-3 to sit on top of A-4 before I started working on the X-1 and A-1 sheets. Now, in the 2013 version, if I'd slide X-1 or A-1 out of the way, I'd see A-3 sitting right there on top, all happy and pretty where I left it.
I have ACA 2013 (student version) running in the Windows 8 environment. I cannot open anything drawn in a previous release nor can I open a drawing created in ACA 2013 that was installed on the Windows 7 platform.
I have tried to drag in the drawings through design center. That worked for a while now when I try that it causes ACA to crash. Also I have tried multiple drawings that were created in several different versions of ACA. (2004, 2006 and 2009)
As a side note I was able to open those files in ACA 2013 running on the Windows 7 OS.
How to model these lamps and curtains(hung from ceiling) made of threads. I am particularly interested in how to model these to look like natural threads as realistic as the picture.

New to Revit. Using 2012. I'm trying to add a double hung window to a wall and get the following error message:
Can't make type "Double Hung with Trim : 36" x 48"
- Error 1
-- Windows : Double Hung with Trim : 36" x 48" - Mark 22 : id 172423
-- Type : Windows : Double Hung with Trim : 36" x 48" : id 172439
I get the same error message no matter what size I try to use
Have installed new Elements 9 and Premiere 9. All works well, except can't get into organizer without hanging up on this message, 'Restoring People Recognition Data'. It shows 2% progress and just hangs there.
