View 8 Replies View RelatedSince we updated to CC, I have a very good chance of this not working evey time I try it. Maybe 10% of the time, it will select the word/line as it should. My prefs are identical for this feature as they have for the past several version of InDesign. My partner also has trouble with copy/paste in InDesign and Illustrator as well.
View 20 Replies View RelatedI hooked up a VisTablet drawing tablet and am using Photoshop CS2. With the mouse, I can draw curves, zigzags, whatever, but with the pen, I only get straight lines. Is there an option or a preference that makes this do this? How can I undo it if there is one?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI created a linetype using text shape. Let’s say, that my line is only AAAAAA. Now when I apply this linetype in the drawing, the lines always have a small, line before and after the characters. Actually you see this: -AAAA- . How can I delete or hide the start and end lines.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIf they have addressed the issue of being able to generate feature lines as a continuous linetype, like when you turn on linetype generation in a polyline? I can't find it anywhere and I would have thought this should have been addressed by now! Real basic need for plan creation!
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am wondering if it is possible to make a linetype that is essentially two continous lines (Or small dashes lines) overlayed atop one another. The purpose for this is to create a shadow effect (we use this for text on aerial imagery). The bottom line would be a thick white/black line and the top line would be the opposite so it stands out.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm working in autoCAD 2011 and I have a quick question: When I open the drawing up from a recent save, all my polylines are not accurate and don't show curves. When I double click the lines, it adjusts itself and shows the curve that I had drawn. Why is this? Will this affect the file if I choose to plot it? Can I keep the lines curved and not have to double click every single line when I open the file just to see what it's supposed to be?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI must have done something to cause two blue boxes to appear to the right of my crosshair whenever I hover over a line. Also, the lines double up when I do this! What's causing it and how do I get rid of it?

How to sort this out, I have never had this issue before.
Any way to build or download a linetype that can display as a thick dashed line surrounded by 2 parallel lines on either side of it?
We use them to denote underground stormwater pipes in our survey models.
Currently I need to manually set each line to a polyline, give it a global width, and then draw a DLINE of the same width from endpoint to endpoint. The down side is that not only is it laborious, I also have to set the Z values to zero, so we lose the elevation feature of the pipe in the model.
Ideally it would need to have enough functionality to alter the spacing of the dashes, and the width of the line.
I need a function that allows to convert the polylines selected with a width globalize defined in a double closed line (spaced by the same width of the polyline), with a hatch inserted automatically defined.
Brilliant idea to draw raceways quickly: instead of making handmade double lines, connect, enter the hatches all by hand, you could quickly draw the polyline with width identical to the size of the duct, and then the lisp transform it into a duct more aesthetically pleasing if compared to the full polyline!
How I would create a triple hung window?!

I have to make a technical drawing using a handmade drawing. When I use technical drawing option, I get a technical drawing with double lines, bacause the lines of my original drawings are a little thick. How can I get a tecnical drawing with one line and not double lines?

The gradient tool allows the user to gradually transition between one color to another. But how about 3 colors? For example, how would you go from blue to white to blue?

View 9 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, every time I draw, I'm not getting accuracy from within that circle, but it's like the paintbrush tip is on the top-left OUTSIDE side of the circle.
Using Photoshop CS6 Extended. Genius tablet.
how to edit it so that you don't have to select a specific brush for sensitivity? ALso, is there any way to make the brush sharper and cleaner? It just looks blurry.
I recently upgraded to CS4 from CS2.
When I'm drawing with the Pencil tool at high magnification (1000% or more, doing icon work), the actual pixel changed is not the pixel I click on half of the time. In fact, it often is up to 20 pixels away, so it's not just some snapping problem. Half of the time, it doesn't even change any pixel in my icon (presumably, trying to change a pixel outside the smallish image).
Do I call support to get this logged and have to wait for a fix? Or is there some work-around?
When I use the paint brush tool with my mouse, color set to black, it works fine. But when I use the tablet pen, it draws this fuzzy pinkish black color. What's the problem and how do I fix it?
