View 4 Replieswhen i make a parent view from model space of 3d objects not all of them will appear in paper space. some times it will only display objects from one layer and other times it will pick and choose. this can also happen when i edit an object in paper space and when i return to paper space objects i was not even editing have disappeared from the view. note this does not always happen, in fact it does not always happen with the same objects.
It does not matter if i open and close AutoCAD the objects will still be gone. This has happened before SP1 but seems to be happening more since the release of it. i can provide a file.
When using the model documentation in autocad 2013 is it possible to select certain objects in a projected view and still have them show up in the base (parent) view? Another way to put it; can I isolate objects in one projected view only?
Is there a good place to go to read post from people that are using this new feature for production or some in-depth tutorials?
My group and I are getting an infrequent but annoying problem with Model Documentation (MD) generated views in paperspace layout tabs. We all on autocad 2013, with sp1.1 installed on x64 machines.
We are seeing objects/ blocks showing in the MD views (viewbase created) in the layout that are no longer in model space. One common factor in this is that these objects seem to always be externally referenced (xref) files that have been either unloaded or completely detached (both cases purges preformed afterwards to wipe any remaining blocks made no difference). In this latest case the ghost objects show up twice (we needed 2 of the same xref) at what appears to be the correct old coordinates.
We have no work around for this and when this occurs we either have to revert to an older version from vault or create a new dwg, port all information over and recreate all views. The interesting thing about this problem is that if we revert to an older version from vault, the ghosts do not reappear/ reoccur at the same commands they appeared at previously.
I need a render with good Quality, so i define the " standard render" on "presentation", and "render quality" on "5", and image size on 2500*2500, BUT the image Weight gets so low, like 500KB..
How can it be? How can i increase the quality?
I've been wondering... Since resolution is such an important factor to whether a pic is sharp and clear, how is photoshop able to increase the resolution of the pic? From what I heard, the picture is broken down into more pixels when the resolution is increased. If so, how can it distort the pic?
I also have this senario which I'm facing now... Since it's rather confusing, I have broken it down into Steps...
Steps:
1) Open picture A in photoshop
2) Transformed picture A smaller so that it is easier to work with (less lag)
3) I created some layers and merged all the layers together
4) Copy the merged layer into another Art piece in Photoshop
5) In the new Art piece, I transformed the merged layer back to the original size
As I transformed the merged layer back to the original size, will it become distorted? Or will the resolution remain around the same?
How can I change low resolution into high one?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I work on the texture in one window and have the 3d window showing there is a huge discrepency in the preview resolution in the 3d window. It only gets crisp when I interact with the 3d model, move, rotate etc, but when I stop, it gets all pixelated again. I have it set to Best AA but that made little difference and I'm not finding any options anywhere.
Is there any way of setting the redraw resolution of the 3d preview to match the crispness of the 2d canvas?

I have a decent box and am trying to process 1080p clips. It seems to run smoothly after I create a file (in the preview window), but is there a way to have it do that without going to step 3 ("Share")?

We are printing to HP/GL-2 using HP drivers. I'm sure it's a print driver thing.
Illustrator Question regarding the texturization window. For some reason, every texture included (as well as one that I made in Photoshop), shows up in the Texturization window with a resolution of about 20 x 20 pixels. Even the simple sandy texture I made with Photoshop is displayed with poor resolution.
When I try File >> Place >> sand_texture.psd and drag it into the Swatches window, the texture isnt added no matter what I try.
I have included an image of what I see when opening the Texturization window.
Oh: Windows 7 64 Bit, Illustrator CC
What I'm after in an 'increase photo resolution' tool similar in result to PhotoAcute Studio (without the hefty price tag). I suspect this may be available but named something else.

I want to print the 3D model but in full resolution.
When I zoom in or zoom out the model, normally the dimension will follow the model too.But now in Autocad 2013, even the model size change, the dimension still remain unchange. why? Is there any setting I miss out? URL....

Where can we find documentation or tutorials on the River Analysis package as it is with IDSU 2014?
We are in the middle of a few projects using BOSS's RiverCAD but with the new 2014 License files we can no longer use the AutoCAD 2010 that ran with RiverCAD.
So, I'm scrambling to get my user up and running with River Analysis and how (if possible) to port our RiverCAD projects to River Analysis with as little pain as possible.
I have to admit, I don't use RiverCAD and have not yet installed IDSU 2014. (I'm making the deployment now).
I'd really like to ditch having to support AutoCAD 2010 and RiverCAD....

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe just installed Inventor R2013. When opening drawings in R2013, the drawing resolution when one is zoomed to the extends of the drawing is very poor. If one were to open the same drawing in R2011 & R2013 and compare the two then one would see that the resolution is better in R2011. Is there a setting somewhere in R2013 to make the drawing resolution better?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've just downloaded autocad map 2014, but I can't find the developer documentation. I can find some crap in the general help referencing lisp and vba, but no clearly organized developer documentation. In the previous versions there used to be an acad_ dev xxx.chm file, that was perfect for the job, but I can't find anything similar here. Do I really need to install an earlier version and copy the file from there?

I did a quick test and I found out that with VBA is much easier to use than .net: you can edit the source code while debugging, you don't need to compile and install anything, everything seems to work much smoother.Do I risk to find out that VBA has problems later in the development?
Where can I find documentation with comparison between the different customization techniques?
