AutoCAD 2013 :: Render Resolution - How To Increase Quality
Oct 28, 2013
I need a render with good Quality, so i define the " standard render" on "presentation", and "render quality" on "5", and image size on 2500*2500, BUT the image Weight gets so low, like 500KB..
How can it be? How can i increase the quality?

I understand there's a plugin that can increase the quality of a low resolution JPG, smoothing out the pixel effect. which one it is, if it exists?

In AutoCAD 2013 model documentation, how do you increase the resolution of shading so it more closely follows the linework? See example.

I've been wondering... Since resolution is such an important factor to whether a pic is sharp and clear, how is photoshop able to increase the resolution of the pic? From what I heard, the picture is broken down into more pixels when the resolution is increased. If so, how can it distort the pic?
I also have this senario which I'm facing now... Since it's rather confusing, I have broken it down into Steps...
Steps:
1) Open picture A in photoshop
2) Transformed picture A smaller so that it is easier to work with (less lag)
3) I created some layers and merged all the layers together
4) Copy the merged layer into another Art piece in Photoshop
5) In the new Art piece, I transformed the merged layer back to the original size
As I transformed the merged layer back to the original size, will it become distorted? Or will the resolution remain around the same?

When I work on the texture in one window and have the 3d window showing there is a huge discrepency in the preview resolution in the 3d window. It only gets crisp when I interact with the 3d model, move, rotate etc, but when I stop, it gets all pixelated again. I have it set to Best AA but that made little difference and I'm not finding any options anywhere.
Is there any way of setting the redraw resolution of the 3d preview to match the crispness of the 2d canvas?

I'm using a very simple animation, with just 2 sentences been animated, the rest are static images. This is 250 x 250 banner and my requirements are, 50kb max, 30 seconds or shorter and 5fps, when saving as a gif, the quality I'm getting is really poor, is there a way to increase the quality and keeping the same requirements at the same time?

What can I do to increase render speeds? I'm getting about 400mbps on my raid. I've got a good gfx card, a ton of ram, but smoke just doesn't seem to take advantage of any of it. Watching my cpu/gpu cycles while rendering it always shows that I am using less than 25% of both. Is there a way to tell it to use everything I've got, I know in nuke, and resolve you can do something like this.

I know those are almost opposites, but is there a way to allow VSPro to somehow pre process the video such that my preview runs more smoothly and with high resolution (or at least more smoothly).
I have a decent box and am trying to process 1080p clips. It seems to run smoothly after I create a file (in the preview window), but is there a way to have it do that without going to step 3 ("Share")?

I would like to enlarge an image, but when I do this it loses quality.
This is how I have done it: image > image size > check "resample image" > select "bicubic smoother" > set my dimensions.

I am myself a photoshop student and I wanna learn about graphic designs, currently Iam working to create pamphlets for an organization.maybe some of you know that for creating brochures you need to set 300 resolution of your image,So only and only high resolution images can be used for this, and we cant find high resolution images easily but that random images which we preserve are mostly workable so that images which Iam trying to use in my brochures are mostly 500/300 px or maximum I may find 800/600 px which is not enough, I at least need to have 1600/1200 px images for a pamphlet I know we mostly use IMAGE SIZE to enlarge the image but as much as we enlarge the image size, the quality becomes more poor that's what the problem is so I wanna know if there is any method of increasing size of the image without losing it's quality,

Im recording 1080p 30fps with my Canon t3i and it lags during the video preview. Is it possible to render the file to a different format to increase its speeds? I heard this was possible, I just transfered over from Sony Vegas, and in Vegas I didnt have much lag under 1/4 preview.

Illustrator Question regarding the texturization window. For some reason, every texture included (as well as one that I made in Photoshop), shows up in the Texturization window with a resolution of about 20 x 20 pixels. Even the simple sandy texture I made with Photoshop is displayed with poor resolution.
When I try File >> Place >> sand_texture.psd and drag it into the Swatches window, the texture isnt added no matter what I try.
I have included an image of what I see when opening the Texturization window.
Oh: Windows 7 64 Bit, Illustrator CC

I have a few images that are essentially line drawings (B&W) that I want to make larger for presentation (i.e., click for larger size) on our new Website. The current size is not large enough.
If I increase pixel sizes, the quality is terrible. For example, see:
[URL]....on our 'test Website'. [Please note Website is work-in-progress.]
Settings *jpg: Width - 270; Height - 138; Scale styles - Y; Constrain proportions - Y; Resample image - Bicubic
If I increase *jpg to Width - 450; Height - 230, I get UGLY.
When I Save for Web as *gif, I change Width - 450; Height - 230, it still appears fuzzy, although not as much.

If you uncheck the resample box when enlarging an image you maintain the number of pixels in the image, lowering the image resolution. But, according to Tim Grey:
From www.tim@timgrey.com 2/20/2008 QUOTE"...the image will be interpolated at the printing stage (for example, most photo inkjet printers render the data at 360 ppi)".END OF QUOTE
Thus, if you don't resample (interpolate) in Photoshop, the printer will do so for you. I am having a hard time accepting this Tim Grey advisory. Do "most" ink jets really render at a fixed resolution (300, 360, whatever), or do they render at the resolution specified by the user?

I'm trying to use the export>render video feature in Photoshop CS5 extended. I must use avi without any compression, keeping the original frame rate (the original file is also an uncompressed avi). My impression was that this setting keeps the original video quality.
However, the exported video loses quite a bit of its original quality. Is it possible to keep the original quality?

how to adjust the settings of different objects I want to have a standard brushed stainless steel material so that the material renders accurately. It always seems to look so distorted. I feel like most of the materials in Revit are this way too. Floors look overly glossy and "fake". I am not looking for photo realism, but it seems like there must be a solution based on image galleries I've seen online. Are there any tips out there for what settings to use to get materials with reflective to render more accurately?

I'm a Corel Draw x4 user and many times I import jpeg or png in corel to trace manually a photograph or a scan.
My problem is the images that come in, appear in really low resolution, although if I export them of course they are fine.
This is a pain as sometimes clients sent already bad quality pictures and I end up trying very hard to understand an image inside corel, even when having a windows image viewer side by side with corel...
Is there any option to show imported images at a 100% quality or something?

I have a couple or three (probably more) small-ish sized images that have crappy quality (they're grainy/noisy-ish and whatnot y'know).
My question is: in general, what would be the best way to enlarge the photo, make it look smooth, and more/less "professional quality" without losing any color? I know whichever method of doing this would require playing around with the settings in each step with each picture.

I am trying to create a company ad that incorporates the company logo. The person who created the logo saved two version of it: one is a PNG file, while the other is a pdf file, with the logo copied about 6 times. The logo is complex yet beautiful and artistically done. I do not have the skills needed to recreate such a logo from scratch. Therefore, I need to import the image into Corel Draw X5 to use. However, when I do that with either formats, the quality of the images are so poor that I would be embarrassed to have it printed.
