Where is the setting to enable Single Drawing Compatibility Mode in 2013? It used to be under the system tab in the options and is not there in 2013. Is this option still available?
I want to open multiple drawings in the same AutoCAD window by double clicking a dwg file like I have always done. Is this still possible in 2013?
Im trying to do an assignment with Autodesk Inventor. We use Autodesk Inventor pro 2012. For some unknown reason EVERY time i download inventor 2012 pro the installation fails due to a corrupt file. So i thought (In desperation) i would downlaod the 2013 version and see if it would install. Lucky enough it all installed correctly. So i continue with my work on the 2013 edition, and when i go to save it it tells me, that i will not be able to use this file on previous versions. (Which i need to do). Is there by any chance a way to save files, that are compatible with older versins (Like in Word) ?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded the trial for 3ds Max 2013 x64 to see whether it meets our requirements. I need to write a DirectX Shader Material using D3D10 syntax and features. The doc page [URL] ..... "You can use this material only when you are using the Direct3D Display driver and DirectX 9.0 or DirectX 10.0 is chosen as the Direct3D version." It says we can use D3D9 or D3D10 shaders.
However, I can't find any way of switching to D3D10 mode. There's no option to do so in the driver selection page or the options for the D3D driver. Even the supplied "default10.fx" shader doesn't work - loading it just produces error messages implying it's being compiled for D3D9 syntax.
How do I get this to work?
Does AutoCAD Architecture 2012 have a single drawing mode?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen saving a psd file I can no longer save in "compatibility mode". I'm using a Mac computer with OSX (version 10.8.3) and Photoshop CS6 (version 13.1.2 x64). I just noticed this problem tonight when I tried to bring a psd file into a MUSE project. Now whenever I save a PSD file the menu that asks if I want to save in compatibility mode doesn't appear (it just saves the file). I've reset the preferences and restarted my computer but Photoshop still doesn't give me a compatibility mode option when saving a PSD file.

View 22 Replies View RelatedI¨m working on a RGB document; it´s not going to be printed, but I need to simulate the overprint effect and also to use some "out of gammut" RGB colors that display very different on CMYK. I have the overpirnt preview checked; also, the objects I want to overprint have the Overprint Fill checked on the Attributes window. I even tried converting to spot colors, since I got the "In RGB documents, overprinting only affects spots colors" message. Still, no overprint preview.

I have had this problem since I used Photoshop 7 and now Photoshop CS. When I want to go to a new paragraph or the next line using the enter key, it just doesnt work.
When I hit enter, the text just exits the text entry/edit mode.

I’m not sure about the current “annotation scale” in case of lay out mode.
Annotation scale option is displayed only in the model and viewport mode but not in the lay out mode (attached)!
Based on what annotative objects living on the lay out but neither in the model (or viewport) are re-sized? At this mode, there is no option to choose the annotation scale?
On other words, how to choose the annotation scale in the lay out mode?
Is there a service pack in the pipeline that will allow Inventor 2013 to run on Windows 8.1? It was working fine on 8 but crashes on the loading screen now Ive upgraded to 8.1. Upgrading to 2014 is not an option for me as my professor uses 2013 software and he will not be able to open 2014 files.

i have downloaded autocad on a new computer and i am amazed i can draw and dimension at the same time.
first of all how do you ENABLE and disable this option because the other autocad app that i have on another computer doesn't work like this and second, how come the delete button doesn't work and how to enable this option because right now i have to use other features such as Trim and it's slow.
how can i enable my autocad to pop out the font substitute dialog box? i have accidentally make it default to ignore all missing font, but now i can't enable it to pop out again as it cause me to lost information of text from customers files.

I can't enable OpenGL drawing.I'm using Windows 8 64bit.I've updated my video card drivers multiple times.I've reinstalled Photoshop.I've restarted my computer.I know for a fact that my card (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870) can use OpenGL because I have used it on this exact laptop before.
How do I enable OpenGL drawing? The box is grey and unclickable and it says I need to update my video drivers.

View 4 Replies View Relatedos windows 7, upgraded to Gimp 2.8.4 I open an .xcf file and go to single window mode. everthing looks ok the zero offsets on the rulers are where they should be and I can see the bottom of the gimp window where the % size change is. I then ask for a new tool bar which is provided and locked to the widow. if i go to full screen and then back the picture is pushed down as are the ruler zero's and i now can't get to the bottom of the screen. this annoying behavior does not seem to happen in multi window mode. attached is a screen capture.

I get the resizer double-headed arrow but the edge won't move. I don't know what to do. It's entirely unusable in single window mode now, which is what I usually use.
