I can add the SNCL-MMG tab in all the standard Workspace.
After that I save in a new profile.
In this computer it's ok.
My custom CUI is an Enterprise CUI.
But when I go to another computer and install my custom menu using my profile saved.
I didn't see the tab I need in all standard Workspace.
Autocad add my custom workspace and everything is fine on my custom workspace.
I am trying to go from the 3D Modeling workspace to the 2D workspace without the XYZ coordinate gizmo on the drawing screen (just want to see the XY ucs) to work in 2D format.

Our old machines were 32 bit; the new ones 64 bit. I am having to load the 64 bit version of Map 3D fresh to all the stations (individual; not network)

What files do I need to save and how do I access them once I have reinstalled the new version?
when i create an ipart with an custom parameter column, the files are created in the workspace. Is there any way how i can change this location?
Many parts are piling up in the workspace.For example to the library (like "normal iparts" do) or to a folder in the workspace (workspace/ custom_ ipart_ folder)?
I tried creating a custom workspace and was able to do so (without any modifications) but when I was in that workspace, and loaded an old menu, it wiped out all the default workspaces. where / how these default workspaces are stored, or how to upload all my old menu stuff without going through a tedious cui mod?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I attempt to create a custom workspace (based on x6 defaults) everthing appears to work correctly until I restart the application. At this point the dockers I have positioned at right side of the workspace are either fully expanded (Transformations) or are fully collapsed (Object Properties & Object Manager).
This a major pain since I do not want to reset my workspace EVERY TIME I START THE APP!
I have already done multiple F8 restarts & re-creating of custom workspace with no change/improvement.
how to save a custom workspace in previous versions does not exist in Illustrator CC. Has this option been reconfigured or simply forgotten? I'm using a Trial Version.

I got a message to install service pack 1 this morning. Since then every time I load PSP the workspace is the default workspace and all of the tools I had added to the toolbars are missing. If I load my custom workspace from the load menu, it makes no difference, it just refreshes the screen and nothing changes. Also every time I load the program it displays the Learning Center and Organizer tabs, even though I keep disabling them.
I tried resetting everything back to the defaults but it doesn't work. Should I do a new re-install or is there something I'm missing?
There must be a faster way to updated the current, custom workspace, without having to choose "Save Workspace" and retyping the same name! I constantly tweek my workspace and do not want to save multiple versions, I just want to update the current space.
I'd like to simply hold "option" as I select the current workspace name and have AI update that workspace with my current setup.
Using PSE 11, I get the panels set up the way I want, and the background that shows behind the document white like I want, and all is well. Until the comptuer loses it and I have to redo it all over. How can I get it to save my choices for these things? It also lost all my preferences that I set.

View 3 Replies View RelatediMac 27' OS Lion CS4 - I have built a new custom workspace where I have about 10 palettes permanently on the desktop and unlike my older Mac G5 running Tiger, when I open an image file it occupies the whole screen (depending on original size) and is occupying space also under the palettes. I would like for the image to open or if not open then when I keystroke cmd+0 for 'fit screen' so it only occupies the area of the screen that is free.

For some odd reason Autocad will not maintain my workspace customizations. For example I typically can customize my workspace by toggling which toolbars are shown and where they are placed. Then I can close autocad and when I start it again all the customizations are present. Now when I start autocad it loads the default workspace. I should have to customize my workspace every time I start autocad. I also shouldn't have to create any custom workspace profile or anything like that. AutoCad used to simply save any GUI customizations made automatically. I need it to get back to that.

Our laser requires a specific output for programming, but I only want this to show up on actual lasered parts as we don't need it on parts that are sawcut. Basically what I would like to do is create a custom iProperty that I can link to the title block for that reads RV:<Revision>. Is there a way to do this? I'd rather not create a separate drawing template for lasered parts as we've got about 100 templates for our various customers the way it is.

Main issue is frequent crashes of the AutoCAD software. Sometimes 10-12 time's in a day. Unfortunately their are no error messages, and I have yet to see any pattern in when and how it crashes.
The problems I can see are the workspace, and process memory of my system. The workspace does not load correctly. The Ribbon shows multiples of the every tab at least twice. All tabs show the commands but not the pictures associated with the commands. CUIload shows correct workspaces.
Second note is that my system runs the same .dwg file's at 2/3 the processing memory than any other identical systems I run AutoCAD on.
Third, through my digging and attempted solutions I found that the AcSignCore_.dll file was missing.
I have: re-installed 3D twice, updated graphics drivers on my system and run open close save hotfix as well as AutoCAD2010 update 2 for 64 bit system.
I want to copy my named WORKSPACE to another computer.
These computers are not connected.
I'd have to copy to a CD.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I switch tabs in my UI (I use Drafting and Annotation), they bug somehow and they don't upgrade visually. What I mean is that if I switch "Home" tab to "Annotate", it keeps showing "Home" tab maximized, but the if I click "Line" it would use "Multiline tool", as they occupy same space in corresponding tab. I can fix it temporarily by multi-clicking bar, but after next switch between tabs, it would bug again. I assume it is not hardware problem, as it used to work for me, then I reinstalled my OS and bug started.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWe have just recently updated our templates to use a new TTF font. We are a multi national office, and are running various machines in both Australia and China. We are all using windows 7. Autocad are all full versions but vary between 2010 and 2012.
We are trying to convert survey drawings from a standard font to the ttf, but for some reason, in the Chinese office only the decimal points disappear after the conversion. The same drawing when sent to the Australian office works fine and the decimal points are there. What to try here, as I am in Australia and can't even reproduce the issue the chinese office is having.
I cannot find the Standard Scale list anywhere in my 2010 version of AutoCAD. Only the Annotative Scale list is visible and usable. Note: it's not that certain scale values are missing, it's that the entire Standard Scale function is no where to be found!
I need to be able to change the scale of a viewport, but the Standard Scale list is not included as an option in the Properties Dialog box, nor is it in any of the other suggested places where it should be. I've used the Standard Scale list many times before in previous versions of CAD and from everything I can tell 2010 should have it.
Is there a way to add drop-down style buttons to the AutoCAD Classic workspace similar to the ones found in the 2D Drafting and Annotation workspace? (Ex. Drawing Circles, etc.)

I have begun by copying the Standard table and modifying it. I have adjusted the cell styles to reflect our colors and text types and sizes. I have also added two additional columns for revision number and revision date.
I have tried saving the new table ... and inserting a new table through the sheet set manager
the only tables i can bring in include the 2 original columns (sheet number and sheet title) and specified text font, size and color are maintained, but the additional columns and the column width are lost.
Ideally i would like the office format to be maintained...with little or no modification required of the user.
My company have some custom menus and some some lisps that are related to it.
to install the menus in r14 first we opel tools/options/Files then we add the custom folders under the Support File Search path then we load the menu and open the Display screen menu and after all the commands can used under the screen menu.
this also work under acad 2000 but cannot find a solution under 2010
I just downloaded 2013 Autocad for MAC and I can't manage to see my drawing toolbars and also don't know where to find workspace settings to change my workspace to autocad classic.
