I installed Adobe CS6 (As a Trial, i'll install the license in three days)I
It does have the Video Format h264, and not the codec h264, and i need it because i'm rendering videos (AVI) that ends with like 60 GB (11 minutes) and that's pretty bad. ( I tried with MPEG-DVD but quality is horrible on a TV Screen)
how to get h264 codec? Does it come with the license?
i try to render some .r3d 4k files in h264 5.2 but After effect dosent support Level 5.2. I can only choose Level 5.1.
I search around the web anf find H264 Level 5.2 is only Supported by After Effects CC.
So i Download the After Effects CC Trial and try it there but again i can only choose H264 level 5.1.
Is it possible to Render H264 in After Effects CS6 or CC?
I would buy a CC abo, but i have to know if i can render H264 level 5.2!
I shoot video with a canon DSLR and love the quality but hate editing with the H.264 codec straight out of the camera. Because of this, I want to create proxy files of a lower resolution and a better codec for editing. I work on a windows 7 laptop, 64 bit, 16gb ram, i7 processor and a Nvidia Gtx-650 (It's an alienware m14x R2). I am looking for a good codec to edit smoother and export for the web and Dvds. Since I edit on a windows machine, I don't have access to apple's pro-res which I hear is great for editing. Are avid's dnxHd codecs comparable?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had an issue over the last couple weeks with Ae CC where any time I output to uncompressed (audio) codec, no audio is attached. I've verified that my output module was set to Audio Output On. Bringing the file into Pr or back into Ae shows that there is no audio track, even though the setting should have at least made a silent audio track. This happens regardless of the audio format in my composition (.wav, .aif, .mp3), and seems to only occur with uncompressed codec.

When im tray to input some jpg resolution about 1200x720 that resolution doesn't work. and my resolution after import is 245x100.Downloading file of jpg image is 1200x720..when i'm import that resolution change in 280x100.

It imports to Premiere but the video appears extremely pixalated and disfigured to the point where it is unwatchable. I have set the sequence settings to the same as the source file.

My question is: how do I get this file on a disc? I have a BD burner, but I don't know which software to use to get it nailed, so I can play it in my BD player.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a LaCie external SSD solely for the purpose of storing my After Effects disk cache. The SSD connects to my MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt.
When I check the info on the SSD, it says it has 254 GB available, so I set the maximum disk cache size in AE to 200 GB, and created a folder on the SSD for the cache. Then I pointed to that folder in AE as the specified disk cache folder.
When I relaunch AE, though, it tells me I don't have enough space in my disk cache folder to accomodate the 200 GB max I set, even though I have 254 GB free on the SSD when I check.
Does this have to do with me creating an empty folder on the SSD to house the cache? Do I have to just use the root folder of the SSD to make use of all the available space?I just found out AE doesn't even let you use the root of a drive as the cache folder, so that can't be the problem..

I've several hundred video clips from my Samsung R10 HD camcorder ( H264 - 1080 25 fps) that I wish to link into one continuous file. I'm not bothered about transisitons or any other editing.
Ideally, I would prefer it to be lossless, but when the clips are placed into X3, it appears they have to be rendered. However, if I'm forced to re render, I cant find a 1080 H264 setting in MP4 format with 25 fps?
i want to know if their is a solution for files MOV H264 60 fps, because when i previsualize clib : no probleme, and in project windows the sound is correct but video completly slow. I have the same probleme on vs x3 and vs x5 ultimate... in the publicity of vs x5 ultimate it is write that input video h264, quicktime, but i think it is ONLY in 30 fps ! but not in 50/60 fps ! i wait answer from corel.. because the technical support said this input isn't supported in vs x5 !
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason iPad1s cannot play videos that I render in Premiere CC as H264 MP4 (960x540 at 29.97fps). I've tried both Main and Baseline profiles. I had read somewhere that iPad1s can only play baseline H264.... but it seems not even them.
What other settings can I change that would enable playablility on iPad1s?
I have a problem with previewing effects in Illustrator. When I do this:
- create or select object
- go to appearance panel
- choose FX -> Stylize -> Drop shadow...
- check Preview in the effects window (it works as expected)
- now uncheck the Preview checkbox (when unchecked, the fx is still visible)
So, unchecking this Preview checkbox doesn't work right. It is very annoying. It is broken for most of the effect in illustrator. Strangly, it works fine with rounded corners effect. But other effects... not.
I have applied two different wiggle effects at different times (scale & position) to a 3D text layer, but find that the shadow cast on a background solid does not move in concert with the text. Wiggling Text--Static Shadow.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to fade a text layer with bevel, gradient overlay, and stroke, and mask only seems to fade the gradient, not the original text color, so it doesn't blend with the bg. I can't use gradient overlay for fade either because I'm already using it and it won't fade the stroke anyway.

Now all of a sudden when I render .mov files, the playback is frayed and jumpy... audio doesn't match, etc. I've tried rendering lower then upper fields and vise versa, and both at once. nothing works.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have created a video on After Effects. The original duration was 1:02 (as long as the video), but the client requested to add one more layer so I added at the end.
At this part the music stops and you just see the text layer.
I previewed it on After Effects and everything was looking perfect.
I opened the 'Adobe Media Encoder' in order to render the composition. The exported file though stops when the music stops! @1:02!
I have tried to figure out if there was a problem with the settings, but I wasn't able to find anything.
is there a way to share "create final video" in 1024x768 mp4 h264?
because my source video is in 1024x768. i can create final video in 640x480 but quality is lower. and when i create final video in 1280x720 or in 1920 x 1080.(presets of MPEG-4 in videostudio x4), i always get black borders on sides and ALSO under and above.
As I'm trying to learn more of my new programs, I finally came across a tutorial that covered the Live Effects. However, after I've open and created an object (star)(that's another story), I go to the Live Effects button (per the tutorial) but nothing opens. Left click, right click, nothing brings anything up.
Also, in the tutorial it started by drawing the star object...click the icon draw a star, and I get a 6-sided filled object. No star to be found. The oval and rectangular objects draw fine. But no star obect.
I'm at the point where I don't know what should or shouldn't be somewhere or if something is or isn't working. I understand that the Live Effects can be pointed to an external folder where 3rd-party plugins should go, but I was also getting the feeling that something came with the program install (per the tutorial). I've gotten used to things not working in these Xara and Magix programs I purchased, so unlike my first couple of posts, the anger and frustration are being left out.
I am animating comps in After Effects CS6, and I'm quickly moving objects across the screen using positioning keyframes and changing size using scaling keyframes. Most of the time it works great; but sometimes the motion blur effect keeps appearing *after* the object has stopped moving. Not just for a second -- but forever. It appears correct when scrubbing on the timeline, but when I render the final output movie, a non-moving object sometimes has motion blur all over it.
Sometimes I can fix it by un-parenting some layers inside the comp... other times it doesn't fix it. Sometimes I just delete it and start over and it works. Seems more like a bug then something I'm doing wrong.
I also tried on my Mac Pro tower and Macbook Pro laptop in case it was a graphics card issue; it isn't, the exact same problem manifests itself in both areas. I did just discover that turning continuous raster OFF does seem to fix the problem--but then my vector images are blurry when I zoom in... and that again sounds more like a bug, not like an incorrect setting.
I just installed Smoke Ext 1. I noticed that all of my source files on an existing job, that are H264, don't show up...they just have a black screen with audio.
Is H264 not compatible with Smoke?
I use photo shop 6. I am trying to import music from my I tunes library to a slide show but it tells me my system does not have the required CODEC installed. What should I do?

I'm planning my purchase of a D7100, and would like to understand the software updates that would be required to process raw files in Photoshop. My current software is: Photoshop CS5.1, Camera Raw is 6.7, Codec 1.12, and Windows 7.
The Adobe website indicates that I need to upgrade the codec to 1.18. I'm OK with that. But, will that codec work with the versions of camera raw and Photoshop that I currently have?
I am creating my first slideshow from Photoshop Elements 10 and get the error message that the proper codec is not installed. I have already converted the original .m4a file to .mp3, and that .mp3 file will play in Windows Media Player. But I cannot add it to my show.

I have tried using the Quicktime Animation codec, but it always drops a frame, for example, a 0-90 frame animation gets combined into a 89 frame video clip. This causes problems when trying to fade clips into one another, as the animations will not line up.
