I created a slide show in Elements 9. the show worked normally when viewed as a slide show, but when saved it as a wmv file, some of the pictures were completely black. How can I correct this ?
I have Photoshop Elements 8 and just recently it changed a bit. When on the active tab (any tab) the background outside my working space is completely black instead it's usual gray. I don't know how it happened but I would like it back to normal. I've attached my screenshot below.
I planned to set up an easy way to lighten my scene. So I actually wanted to use the Skylight as I did with 3DS Max 2008.Since I have not used 3DS Max for a while and now ugraded to version 2011, it seems as if I forgot how to use the Skylight.Unfortunately I am unable to check the Cast Shadows box in the render menu.
When I add a skylight to my scene, then enable "Smooth + Highlight" with "Illuminate with Scene Lights", nothing is lit by the skylight. Is there any way to get the viewport to show me how the skylight is lighting my scene?

I want to place a Skylight on a Slope Roof that will be channel vertically thru the Raked Ceiling System. I need to show this skylight on Roof and Ceiling plans. without tracing lines or using Vertical command.
it's possible to create a barrel vault skylight that would work similar to a curtain wall (i.e. stretch the skylight and it adjusts to a fixed size and adds mullions)?
Long of the short of it is, when I export a vector graphic as eps format it is changing my pantone colors to black. Not just 100% black but like 2% Magenta, 4% Yellow, 95% black. When I export rgb or cmyk objects, not a problem. It only has issues when it involves a pantone colour.
I have never had issues with this from the past 8 years I have worked with CorelDRAW. This was also something that just randomly happened, no computer upgrade, no major software changes, nothing.
I am currently running Windows 7 64bit with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5.
The Recolor Artwork dialog does not replace the color of objects filled or stroked with pure black, either CMYK or RGB. (Yes, with the Recolor Art checkbox selected.) The dialog will replace any other color, but not black. Not even a manually created rich black. Manually selecting another color from the Color or Swatches panel does change the object's fill or stroke.
This happens with both CS6 and CS5 under Windows 7 x64. I reported it as a bug on the prerelease site. Also not sure if bug reports are still being read for the released version.
Photoshop CS6 was working fine until about an hour ago...now the shortcut it is gone. Looks like the app is gone completely. Went into Creative Cloud and it said CS6 had updates but I am receiving an error code U44M1I210. I am current on payment.
So my whites and grays and everything are PERFECT everywhere but in Photoshop. Granted I don't have a hardware calibration tool, only software, but I've used nVidia's tool as well as several others, and everything is fine, except when I go into CS5. For example, the whites on this page are perfectly fine. However, in CS5 the white is cream colored.
Is there something specific to CS5 that is independent of my monitor as well as every other application that I own that makes it cream? It didn't used to be like this, so I don't know what changed.
I was in the middle of editing when Lr3 froze up, I tried to restart, it prompted me to force quit Lr3 which I have done in the past. When I reloaded Lr3, my entire library was gone. 0 files.
When I import photos via 'File / Get Photos and Videos / From Files and Folders ...' they appear as individual photos in the 'Getting Media' box but when the import is complete they all appear the same - a grey background with an hourglass figure. How do I get the completed import to display the individual photos?
I have been working on a file for the last few weeks and save on a very regular basis and also have the autosvae option selected in preferences but Photoshop has crashed and completely deleted the file off the face of the earth?
I am working on a very important project and have a design session very soon and am now left with no .psd file to work with? I have looked for it everywhere and there isn't anything?

My colors are completely off in photoshop from the real image. I've already checked to make sure it's not the monitor, the color is fine there. I've already read the forums that say to simply turn on "Proof Colors." That does changes the colors how they should be. HOWEVER, if I try and export the file out as a png or anything, they are exported with the messed up color rather than the "proof colors." BUT if I open the image up in microsoft paint, it appears to be right, but only with paint. If I open the image with anything else (reader, indesign, picaso, etc.), the color is always messed up. I even tried exporting the png to someone else thinking it was just my computer, no luck. For some reason, I can't export anything without it using crazy colors (just like if "proof colors" was unchecked). I've tried deleting preferance and playing around with the color settings. What can I do?
When I open ps cc it completely hangs. No menus will open. Cannot even close without using task manager. Should I just reload? How do I delete the old version?
Its a large file, so i shut down photoshop and then started it back up, like i do all the time. However when photoshop started up again my file i had been working on all week was gone. It could be seen in the recent files, but when i clicked it it said it couldnt find it. So i go to the directory where it should be, and, yup, its gone.
Not in the recycle bin, not anywhere on the drive after many exhaustive searches, and i cant even find it using a disk recovery tool. I have tried recuvra, which took over 2 hours, and nothing. It is completely and absolutely gone, taking away a weeks worth of work with it. I actually need this for tomorrow, but dont have anywhere near enough time to create it from scratch again.
I have recently installed Photoshop CS3 Extended but there was a problem with the serial number on the box. Adobe have issued me a new serial number to use. I uninstalled it all but when i reinstalled it, the original serial number is still there.
How do i completely remove all traces of Photoshop CS3 Extended from my computer so that i can reinstall it with my new serial number? This is a full retail version used on a Windows XP system.
Whenever I freeze an object, either with "Display Frozen meshes in gray" turned off or on, they disappear completely from the scene. Even though they are still there, because if I "Unfreeze All" the meshes will pop back in the scene.
Almost as if freezing the object also automatically hides it, which is very problematic.

I have an intermittent problem with LR. I click to start and nothing happens. I have to go into Task Manager, Processes, find that LR is still active from the last time I used it, and shut it down, before I can restart the program. I never had this problem with LR 1,2,&3.
It will shutdown frequently or sometimes not at all while i'm using Lightroom 3.6. I have Windows 7, 64 bit system, 2.80 GHz, 8 GB Ram.
Lighroom Info indicates that real memory used by Lightroom is 1.7%, Virtual memory used is 116.5 MB.
Fan seems to be ok, my system does not indicate any over heating issues. I also use Photoshop and various other heavy programs with no issues or shutdowns.
Using the square brush set in CS6 results in a sqaure that is, in fact, not really square...
Note how there are 3 90 degree corners, but the bottom right is rounded, and the bottom and right sides are faded.Am I doing something wrong? How can I fix this?
