I need to save an image as an HDRI with that extension in order to use it in another program. I figured out how to save as an open EXR but the program does not recognize that format. Is it possible to save as an HDRI?
Animating HDRI process in still photo.I'd like to animate (in AE, for instance) a HDRI photo or better those 5/7 photo differently exposed to show how work this techniques, but I don't know how exactly works all cause in Photoshop and others HDRI sw you obtain directlu a blended photo from these 5 / differnt exposed photos. Above all I'd like to know which kind of blendings mode (or combination of them) these software utilize to obtain a perfect merged HDRI image.
I planned to set up an easy way to lighten my scene. So I actually wanted to use the Skylight as I did with 3DS Max 2008.Since I have not used 3DS Max for a while and now ugraded to version 2011, it seems as if I forgot how to use the Skylight.Unfortunately I am unable to check the Cast Shadows box in the render menu.
When I add a skylight to my scene, then enable "Smooth + Highlight" with "Illuminate with Scene Lights", nothing is lit by the skylight. Is there any way to get the viewport to show me how the skylight is lighting my scene?

I want to place a Skylight on a Slope Roof that will be channel vertically thru the Raked Ceiling System. I need to show this skylight on Roof and Ceiling plans. without tracing lines or using Vertical command.
it's possible to create a barrel vault skylight that would work similar to a curtain wall (i.e. stretch the skylight and it adjusts to a fixed size and adds mullions)?
I downloaded CC version today, thinking it was going to upgrade/update CS6. Now I have both versions installed. I plan on removing CS6, assuming CC version is newer/better somehow.
Is there much difference between Photoshop 6.0 & Photoshop CS. I have Photoshop CS and was thinking of taking a Photoshop 6.0 class but wanted to know about the differences before spending the money.
Is there a difference between "tif" and "TIF" (and even "tiff")?
I just saved the same file as both "tif" and "TIF" and thought that, if they were the same format, GIMP would correct the case and see them as the same file, but this didn't happen (it didn't overwrite the file).
I have been a Photoshop user forever. CS6 is very powerful. I have Lightroom 4 and just don't get why people flip over this. Is it just the library, knowing where you put things?
What is the difference between colors? On the left side is source PSD file, on the right is Exported/printed PDF file. There was the Adobe RGB (1998) printer/color profile. Is any better one? The same cases were occurred between light blue and light green. Both got darker. Here's the preview of the problem:
What the difference is between RGB and sRGB? Any website links that explain the whole colours/printing side of things in detail that would be handy as need to touch up on this knowledge.
