3ds Max :: How To Join All The Objects Into A Mesh And Import To OpenGL ES

As it stands in the view there are multiple cylinder objects that make up the grid. I would like to export to probably .obj so that I can later import to OpenGL ES. Is there a way to join all the objects into a mesh and then export to some file format condusive to import to OpenGL ES?

JOIN command has the option selection and merging several objects at once, but I can not join more then one line.

I came across this site a few weeks ago and was happy to see that a community like this existed. I am new to CorelDraw and have been playing around with it because my friend just bought a Roland GX-24 vinyl cutter and I wanted to make some designs for it. I, however, am overly experienced with Photoshop and not enough with CorelDraw, but would like to balance that out.
I came across my recent predicament when I exported my CorelDraw image into Roland CutStudio and it wanted to cut all the underlying curves from each layer, instead of the black and white image as it appeared. I wasn't surprised this happened because I couldn't figure a way to join/ merge the curves before I exported, but I was still hopeful that it might cut the image as it appeared.
This first object is a blade layer and as you can see from the picture, when selected, its curve goes right through the other spiral object. How can I merge these curves? As it stands right now, I can't even figure out a way to select the two of them at the same time, let alone join the curves.
....and vice versa in this picture, the spiral object when selected goes right through the blade
....and in the foremost layer of the image when selected, the curves also continue through the spiral
Here is a picture of the current layers for this whole image. The front layer I paint bucket filled numerous portions of it with white so it stuck out above the bottom two other layers, so all the fills make it a group of 161 objects, and the next layer is a group of 2 objects which are the spiral and the blade from the first 2 pictures.
My question is how can I merge or join all the curves in the entire image, essentially flattening the whole image as it appears?

I'm animating this stock model that was given to me and I do the animation in another file so it plays smoother (the mesh is kind of heavy). But when I import the bip file, the mesh doesn't adjust to the new animation but it gets all over the place.Is there any specific pipeline I should do this?

The command to JOIN two overlapping anchor points as a SMOOTH join is not working (at least, on Mac).

"The join option only results in a corner join regardless of whether you select anchor points to join or the entire path. However, for overlapping anchor points, if you want the option to select a smooth or corner join, then use Ctrl+Shift+Alt+J (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Option+J (Mac OS)."

I need merge many objects in one for export to fbx. If I delete any of polySurface objects, mesh lowpolyHouse crushes. If I stay it, than it all export to fbx file, problem is that I need mesh object only.Â

My scene has about 10,000 objects in it, so it's tough to find that unnamed object...
It doesn't seem to matter much, but it's annoying- every time i render a frame I get:

Is there a non-destructive way to import a mesh and then work on it symmetrically in Max? I'm not having a ton of luck looking on the net (though it may well be my search criteria). I need to work on a symmetrical mesh that I've imported but the symmetry tools all seem to create geometry or require I cut mine in half. I'm missing something, right?

arc was defined with line's end points and radius, so I'm positive that this drawing is continuous.
Steps I take:

click
do you wish to turn into polyline

Select objects: 1 found

I had no problem turning other arcs into polyline...

I have an assembly that has somewhere a hole with a round bar that exactly fits in this hole. But when meshing the assembly, the mesh of the hole and the mesh of the bar are different.
The result is that the different parts do only seem to touch each other at the edges of the mesh, resulting in high stresses.
See picture.
I tried to made a derived part from the assembly, but that one does not finish meshing. After 48 hours, the progress bar is still half way. While the one above did finish in about 15 minutes. What can I do to make the meshes match?

I thought they were supposed to appear when the Polygon shelf is selected? I don't see them. In fact, when I select different shelves the menu items on the right half of the task bar don't change at all. Is this normal?

I am looking for the same function in Maya that I use alot in 3DS. In 3DS, you can "Merge" (import) models from another scene (file) into your current one. It allows you to pick a single model from the imported scene to be imported into the current scene.
I know Maya has the import function but it seems to import all the objects. I just want to import a particular model.
Is this possible in maya?

i have been using photoshop in the last few days creating a 3D object from scratch by fist making my 2D image and then making it into a 3D object. I have saved it as a psd ans when i try to import it to after effects cs6 it imports but then my object is still 2D!

I am using Excel 2010 & LT 2012. I need to import spreadsheets into my drawings as OLE objects. For a while, the process worked fine - I could just copy to clipboard and paste the worksheet in as an image. For some reason, this is no longer working properly and the information will only insert as editable text, not the image of the formatted spreadsheet. Unfortunately I DO NOT want the information to be in an editable format. If I insert the worksheet as an OLE, only the first page will insert. The only solution I could come up with was to PDF each sheet of the worksheet and then PDFATTACH to the file.Â
I also do not have the AutoCAD Entities option of Paste Special. My only Paste Special options are Unicode Text, Text or OEM Text. I assume this is an LT difference.
Is there a setting or command that would allow me in insert the information as an image rather than Text...like I said, it worked properly for a while so I am thinking it might be a simple setting change...
Another issue is that when plotting spreadsheet information in CAD, it only registers 50% - the remaining information is not visible.Â

I have a problem trying to import objects to load their correct material properties. The textures are all there but I have to reset there specular properties everytime. Even if I import the same object straight after I export it with the materials properly set, I still have to reset them all over again. Is there a setting somewhere like in Customize that I can change to make the objects maintain their properties on import?

CorelDrawX6 user reporting that she imports a PDF file into CorelDrawX6 (Windows 7 pro, 64-bit system, version is X6 with update 2 and Hot patch applied, Windows OS is fully updated). Taking a pdf file scaling up to full scale, she is not getting the correct measurements. She tested it to see if the same thing happened on another user's computer that is XP Pro XP3 with CorelDraw X5 and it does not have the same issue.
So it may be in CorelDraw X6 (she moved to X6 recently). Also, she said it does not happen consistently. Yesterday this was a problem, today with the same file it appears to be OK.Â

I'm working with a new client that is providing CAD drawings in .dwg format. I can import the file, and see the objects in Object Manager, but no objects are displayed in the work area. I am able to import the same .dwg file into a CAD/CAM application and the objects are there. A file with this issue is attached.Â

Brand new computer, 32-bit XP, 4GB RAM (sorry, but too many of my important programs don't run on 64-bit), Intel 9650 quad, 3.0 GHz, RAID array, etc. And an ATI 4850 graphics card with 512 MB DDR3 RAM (on the Adobe tested list) and it doesn't work properly with OpenGL turned on: brush lines do not complete until I start another line, or click someplace in the image (which creates another line!); preview for the stamp tool doesn't work (there is no preview); 'ghost' panels over the image stay there even when they're moved (a mouse click is needed to make them disappear). Animated zoom works (nice feature), flick panning does (not really needed), birdseye view does (also nice feature), rotate canvas does (not needed that I can see), pixel grid (might be useful); I haven't tried the others. Bottom line: if I turn OpenGL off, it works fine, but those features are absent. I've been updating my drivers as ATI has (they've done several in the past month or so),
I don't know how the beta testing was done or how this card could be on the approved list, but someone fell short.

I have been trying to use the 3D features of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended and have been having no success. I have enabled the 'Use Graphics Processor' in the Edit->Preferences->Performance dialog box. I have also ensured that I have the latest version of the drivers installed. The video cards (in a CrossfireX configuration) are Sapphire HD Radeon 7970s. The thing is, when I installed Photoshop a few weeks ago, I tested the 3D functions and they worked fine. Now they no longer do so. I have updated video drivers and Photoshop since then but when I reverted back to the older drivers, the 3D features still didn't work. I have tested OpenGL in Modo 601 and Houdini FX 12 with no problems.

The are some unpleasant bugs on CS6 when OpenGL is turned off. bug in PS-13.1.2(only) on Win7x32.When making selection, for example, with magic wand it`s edges are terribly blinking and shaking.

And very old bug on all versions of CS6 for win.When the rullers are visible, try to shake the canvas with, for example, hand tool to left-rigth. The rulers will be cracked with artefacts.

main bugy-feature is thaе the contrast of path`s lines is very poor on noisy midle gray areas, even when the antialiasing is off.
