View 9 RepliesI am relatively new to Lightroom. I have imported Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 raw (.RW2) files into Lightroom 5.3. When I go into the Develop module under the Camera Calibration the only profile that shows up is Adobe Standard. My camera is supported according to the Adobe web site.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi'm experiencing some problems with the vieport in max 2012.sometimes when i restart max all my geometries in viewport are missing, while all are still there.
View 1 Replies View RelatedCan Photoshop CS6 Camera Raw picture settings be synced with Lightroom 5 picture settings?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe same keys seem to be used to move the viewport camera, but the behavior of the viewport camera seems to have changed. For example, press Z to focus on an object, middle-drag the camera off to the side in one direction, and alt+middle-dragging used to just rotate the viewport camera around a new focus point. Now, it's almost like the viewport camera is getting swung around on a rope around the original focus point.
How can I change it back to the original way?
I have problems bringing up the viewport settings menu. When I click on the + icon or the viewport name the menu does not appear. Why?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I have set camera view in my viewport for a perspective view. This goes okay but when i close my drawing and open it again. The view was changed. I have tried locking my VP, set UCSFOLLOW to 0, display locked=YES as stated on other VP problems in threads. What setting am i missing?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIn 2012, when I click on a viewport and try and to change the scale, in either quick properties or the properties window custom scale. AutoCAD only allows the standard scale settings, not a custom one. I think this is just a matter of some setting, but do not recall it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been using 3DS max for a few days now, but I recently must have pressed a shortcut key which makes some of the near-side-faces disappear so that you can see the the opposite side.
The picture that I've attached (successfully hopefully) shows that I've not simply deleted the sides as the missing faces are rendered. But something I couldn't show in the picture was that when you change the viewing angle, the faces reappear and disappear based on the view.
The only solutions I could think of was to delete the objects (failed), and starting a new file (no success with that)
I opened a multi-tab CAD document, and my crosshairs disappear when I go into a viewport from paperspace. I can still select things, but I can't see what I'm selecting because the crosshairs are gone! The viewports in the other tabs are fine, I can see my crosshairs in those. I've looked for some setting that accidentally got changed, but can't figure it out. I'm running AutoCAD 2010.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just installed CS6. When I open my photos from Bridge in Camera Raw, the old window from CS5 opens (the one with Fill Light and Recovery), not the new one with Highlights/Shadows.
I can get it to change to the new version by clicking on a fly out menu that says Reset Camera Raw Defaults but I have to do that for each photo. How can I get the new version to open all the time?
I'm shooting monochrome images with a Canon Digital Rebel XTI but when I load the images in Bridge or Photoshop CS they are showing up in color rather than black and white. How do I set Camera Raw to show the files properly in B&W?
View 2 Replies View Relateddo any camera setting (portrait , landscape, contrast, saturation, etc,) matter when importing raw.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a plan and profile sheet set up with two viewports in it. Somehow one of the viewport's frame disapeared and I don't know how to get it back. Since it is not showing I can't click on the viewport to unlock it and adjust the view. I also can't delete it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a new camera (Canon 600D) and am shooting in RAW+jpg.
I make many on-camera adjustments (exposure, creative effects etc) which apply to the JPG fine. Is there a way to apply these to the RAW image also (within LR) without manually changing all the settings using the 'develop' module? For example, can I right-click on a RAW image and select 'Apply camera settings' or something along those lines?
On a side note, is there a way to ask lightroom to simply use the JPG version rather than the RAW version (on an individual photo basis)? Lightroom as I currently have it set up uses teh JPG only as a preview.
Not sure if it is relevent but I am using the latest Lightroom 3.x on Vista.
I have both a Sony NEX 5 and a Sony NEX 7. I want to establish custom default settings specific to each camera and for each ISO setting I use in Lr. I know Lr has the capability to make default settings for specific camera bodies according to serial number. Sony did not include body serial numbers in the Exif files for the NEX camera line. Since I only have 1 each NEX 5 and 7, will my copy of Lr create separate custom default setting for my specific cameras so long as I don't add additional NEX 5/7 cameras to my Lr setup?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Canon Rebel T4i, Lightroom 4.2 running on Mac OS 10.8.1. When I connect the camera to the computre and select Tethered Capture, I see the camera name in the tethered capture window, but the values for the settings are "--". When I mouse over the shutter button, the curson becomes a gloved hand with pointed finger and if I click on the shutter button it changes shade, but does not fire. When I look in the view finder, "Busy" flashes and I can't use the camera shutter.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using MaxDesign 2013 and 2014. Both have the same problem. When I work on something that is scaled for an architectural sized project with units set to Feet and the extents about 1000 Feet the display is difficult to work with. The objects, mostly simple boxes, are torn and missing faces. Intersections are sawtooth.
A few years ago I had the issue but I had mistakenly created a model that was miles wide instead of inches and Max had a hard time with it. Once I recreated it in the correct scale at about 10 inches all was well. But, Max is used a lot for architecture so a scale in feet that spans a few thousand feet should look good. The way it looks now there is no way to evaluate intersections, shadows and simple geometry relationships.
I can't seem to correct it. I went back to Direct3D from Nitrous and that didn't work. I've attached a view.

Been having problems with CR for weeks tried uninstalling PS and re-installing as a last ditch solution. Now when I tried to access CR prefs I get a message saying Camera Raw is not installed.download link for CR.

I have CS3 installed, my OS is Windows Vista 64. When I am using Bridge I cannot find Camera Raw. If I highlight an image and then right click on it, I cannot see the "open in Camera Raw" command, it's not greyed out just not there, also it is not in the File drop down menu. So, I cannot use Camera Raw! I have tried reinstalling CS3 but the problem is still there. I have installed all available updates, but no change. My partner also has CS3 on thier computer with Windows Vista and Camera Raw works fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor certain shoots it would suit me to have my pictures import and look like the embedded jpegs which are created using Canon's standard picture styes. Is there an easy way to create LR develop settings to match the popular Canon styles such as Standard, Portrait and Landscape so that I get approx the same amount of sharpness, contrast, colour balance. Perhaps someone has already done that and they've shared the Lightroom Presets.
View 38 Replies View RelatedI have been a user of previous versions of VS...but my last version was VS12 because I didn't like version 3 or 4. Finally I am trying Pro X5 on a trial. I completed a project in Pro X5 but now I want to save it out to my computer. The problem is that when I want to save it I am missing my compression options. My standard procedure was to go --> Share --> Save File --> Custom --> Options --> Compression and I could choose from 8 different Media Types...Now, in Pro X5 I only get 2 compression types...NTSC and PAL..
Here are some screenshots...

I have them both currently installed at the moment. Obviously, only running one at a time

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have PS CC (PS only). Updated to ACR 8.1. I am not seeing Camera Raw 8.1 as a filter (drop-down from the main Filter menu) option, nor do I see the Radial filter (within ACR - no elipse icon), nor do I see the Upright from the main Filter menu within Lens Corrections.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem with the embedded camera data that is stored with a photograph. I'm not sure but every once in a while PS deletes the data from a photograph when I edit the photograph.
This is not happening every time. Some photographs I edit all the data is still there after I edit. Others I edit have been changed. All the camera data is missing and the original creation date, the date the photograph was taken is changed to the date I edited the photograph.
The creation date and time is important to me to keep photographs from different cameras in the correct sequence of real time. Is this normal for PS or am I causing it?
I shoot RAW with a Canon 5D Mark II. I am using Lightroom 3. All of the sudden I can't find my camera profile settings in the Develop Module under the Camera Calibration Panel. They used to be there and now they are gone. "2010" is selected under the Process bar, but only Matrix shows up as my available Camera Profiles. What did I do to make them disappear? I can't think of anything that I could have done. Haven't done much except edit photos and now my profiles are missing! How can I get my camera profiles back?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have this message when I start Lightroom 3 (roughly translated from french) "Missing camera profiles : some of your camera profiles are missing, that may alter the rendering of your raw files. Reinstall lightroom to restore them."
I did try to reinstall LR3 but without success. I'm with Lightroom from v1 an did upgrade to v2 then v3. I remember that I did remove a folder in the lightroom folder that I thought to be related to LR2 after upgrading to LR3. That's probably when the problem starts to occurs.
what are these missing files and how should proceed to restore them ? Where they installed by an older version ? I'm shooting with a D80 DSLR.
Why does an image that has been altered by Lightroom cause the RAW Converter to open when trying to view it in Photoshop. Perhaps this might work; if I import, enhance and convert a RAW image in Lightroom to a jepg image it will open in Photoshop without issue. However if I then alter the jpeg image in Lightroom, update the Metadata and try to view it in Photoshop it cause the Photoshop's RAW Converter to open. Is the alter image's information held in a side car file (xmp) that can'r be read by Photoshop? If so would I need to re-export, (convert), the image again in Lightroom to embedd the changes thus making sure it could be read by all the various programs that are available to view images. As is I send photographs to newspapers and print houses it is important for me to know if they would be receiving fully adjusted images or only the adjustments that were made prior to converting from RAW to jpeg. Just in case...I am new to Lightroom.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe only settings I get in "Save for Web / Devices" are "Unnamed" and "-----".
Where would these preferences have disappeared to? I don't recall ever seeing the standard options ever since installing the CS3 Master Collection. ImageReady and Photoshop CS3 usually have a few JPG, GIF and PNG options.
Could I download the original settings file somewhere, without reinstalling anything?
Mouse Control is missing in Preference Settings / Viewports. It exists in 3ds Max 2012. Has it been moved somewhere else?
