Been having problems with CR for weeks tried uninstalling PS and re-installing as a last ditch solution. Now when I tried to access CR prefs I get a message saying Camera Raw is not installed.download link for CR.

I am relatively new to Lightroom. I have imported Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 raw (.RW2) files into Lightroom 5.3. When I go into the Develop module under the Camera Calibration the only profile that shows up is Adobe Standard. My camera is supported according to the Adobe web site.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have CS3 installed, my OS is Windows Vista 64. When I am using Bridge I cannot find Camera Raw. If I highlight an image and then right click on it, I cannot see the "open in Camera Raw" command, it's not greyed out just not there, also it is not in the File drop down menu. So, I cannot use Camera Raw! I have tried reinstalling CS3 but the problem is still there. I have installed all available updates, but no change. My partner also has CS3 on thier computer with Windows Vista and Camera Raw works fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have PS CC (PS only). Updated to ACR 8.1. I am not seeing Camera Raw 8.1 as a filter (drop-down from the main Filter menu) option, nor do I see the Radial filter (within ACR - no elipse icon), nor do I see the Upright from the main Filter menu within Lens Corrections.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem with the embedded camera data that is stored with a photograph. I'm not sure but every once in a while PS deletes the data from a photograph when I edit the photograph.
This is not happening every time. Some photographs I edit all the data is still there after I edit. Others I edit have been changed. All the camera data is missing and the original creation date, the date the photograph was taken is changed to the date I edited the photograph.
The creation date and time is important to me to keep photographs from different cameras in the correct sequence of real time. Is this normal for PS or am I causing it?
I have dowloaded the Trial version of Photoshop CC in Spanish and everything is fine with one exception: the camera shake filter option does not appear on the list of options.

A friend bought a copy at the same time and she has the plug-in. I have even followed to upgrade to 7.3 but it has still not appeared in my Help>Plug-ins dropdown, nor is it in the Open As file type dropdown?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI shoot RAW with a Canon 5D Mark II. I am using Lightroom 3. All of the sudden I can't find my camera profile settings in the Develop Module under the Camera Calibration Panel. They used to be there and now they are gone. "2010" is selected under the Process bar, but only Matrix shows up as my available Camera Profiles. What did I do to make them disappear? I can't think of anything that I could have done. Haven't done much except edit photos and now my profiles are missing! How can I get my camera profiles back?

I did try to reinstall LR3 but without success. I'm with Lightroom from v1 an did upgrade to v2 then v3. I remember that I did remove a folder in the lightroom folder that I thought to be related to LR2 after upgrading to LR3. That's probably when the problem starts to occurs.
what are these missing files and how should proceed to restore them ? Where they installed by an older version ? I'm shooting with a D80 DSLR.
Looking for the Camera Calibration palette in LR 5, its not present.It has probably been missing ever since the upgrade from LR 4. In LR4 I had installed some camera profiles from Huelight. I'm not sure if this is related to the missing palette.
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust came back from the camera store after testing out the Nikon Coolpix P7800 and Sony RX100ii. Imported the RAW files into LR 5.3 to compare the image quality of the cameras. I noticed that I could not assign camera and lens profiles to the photos. I currently have a Nikon P7100 which does show up in the drop down list and have had no problem doing lens corrections for the older camera. I thought the P7800 and RX100ii cameras were added in the latest update.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently returned from a photo trip where for the first time I used multiple camera bodies (I purchased a second 5D MII body).
When importing my photgraphs into Lightroom I find all the correct lens profiles are available to images shot with my original 5D MII body, but images taken with the new body are only presented with a default list of 15 profiles, which don't include several of the lenses I used.
I'm using LR 3.6 on Windows 7 64 bit and find that the full list of lens profiles is in the folowing folder:
C:ProgramDataAdobeCameraRawLensProfiles1.0
I also found the following folder present on the PC which had no profiles but and empty Dowloads folder.
C:UsersUserNameAppDataRoamingAdobeCameraRawLensProfiles1.0
So tried copying the profiles here but that didn't work either.
How I can correct this problem get all my profiles avalable to both bodies? I tried exporting the images to photoshop and downloading lens profiles via the Lens Correction Filter but that didn't work either.
PSPx6 64-bit runs fine on my computer, but a few weeks ago, the shortcut icon on my desktop (installed by installer program) "defaulted" to a generic-looking "document" icon that communicates nothing. The original icon with a camera and "64-bit" in it disappeared, and I can't figure out how to get it back. Deleting the generic desktop icon and re-creating a shortcut from program files/corel/corel paintshop pro x6 (64-bit) doesn't restore the original icon either. Sounds trivial, but a dumb-looking icon in the system tray (when I have a lot of work going on) doesn't work for me find PSPx6 when I have minimized it. Plus, I wonder if the missing icon isn't sign something else is "broken" as well? (diagnosis, PSPx6 32-bit is also on this laptop, as is PSP pro x3.)

Canon software views images. Suspect my minimum camera raw plug in version does not support this new camera..I am unable to locate in the software any menu item that allows me to view the camera raw plug in version.
Have no choices in the camera calibration tab inside camera raw plugin. Use CS3 and Raw 4.6. Are choices only available in later version or PS? Also in Raw preferences choice for camera serial number and also setting as defaults. Where to enter serial number etc.

so i tried to install the update.... installed it fine, kept getting the same message when i would try to open the photo. after researching online i found the suggestion of uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop elements. i did that once, tried the update again...same results. uninstalled again. tried the update again and still getting the same message. ive checked the adobe website and everywhere i look says the version of the camera raw DOES support my camera (nikon D7100).
After an, automatic, update to camera raw 7.3 in Photoshop Elements 11 all Camera Profiles are gone. All that is left is "Matrix". I use Elements 11, windows Vista on a 64-bit machine, my camera is a Nikon D7000.

In this instruction, he takes images into Camera RAW and selects a tab called Profile, and it automatically detected the camera from metadata and made corrections.
I was sold, subscribed to Adobe Cloud, downloaded Photoshop and started following his tutorial. When I got to the lens correction part, my Camera RAW has no Profiles tab. Brown does say that you need the latest version, but I have assumed that since I just subscribed and downloaded, that I have that.

For some reason when using the path option in inventor studio for camera animation the camera rolls for no reason?? I have created two helical curve sketches around my product, the outer curve is the path for the camera and the inner curve is the path for the target. Both curves are the same height and have 1 revolution. When i play the camera it works out fine untill it hits 1/4 of the way through and suddenly flips 180 degrees so now the camera is upside down, once it hits 3/4 of the way it flips back again to the correct rotation. If i dont create an inner curve for the target and place the target directly in the centre of my product with no path to follow the camera spins all over the place when it follows the curve.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI shoot photos with a Nikon D2X and my wife uses a Nikon D70. If I open a D70 raw file, and then go to camera calibration, the profiles available are for various standard profiles and D2X profiles. The D70 profiles do not show in the drop down list. All of the profiles have been downloaded, from Adobe, and installed.
If I open a D2X raw file, the standard and D2X profiles are shown in the dropdown box.
Have I missed something in the installation? Do the profiles have to be loaded somehow?
I'm an amateur moving up to LR 3 and have been trying to learn this program by reading the LR3 book by Scott Kelby. He shows that the Camera Calibration feature has some settings for specific cameras yet the drop down menu has none listed. I've upgraded to 3.6 and the images were copied from raw to DNG.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am working on a project where I am incorporating 3d text into a shot with an onscreen talent speaking to the camera. I am trying to get the text to only move when the camera moves such as a pan or a hand held shake, making it look like it's part of the environment. It will track with the camera and looks great until my talent /subject moves, then the text moves with the subject. What am I doing wrong in my tracking? I have looked up tutorials and articles searching for others who have had this problem and cannot find anything that replicates my issue. Every tutorial I've seen does the same thing with fantastic results but I can never get the text to not move with my subject.
