Photoshop :: Camera Shake Tool Missing
Jul 7, 2013I have Photoshop CS6 extended. When I look for the camera shake tool on the drop down sharpen menu, it's not there. I have tried reinstalling but no change.

This is not a scratch disk error, as I have two-2TB drives as my scratch disks (nothing on either yet). 16GB memory (RAM), 14680MB available memory to PS, 2030 available VRAM. Running nVida GeForce GTX 670 on a Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz.
Is this a GPU function that may not be available to some graphic cards? Is my image too big (4000x3000px)?

Apr 7, 2014I am relatively new to Lightroom. I have imported Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 raw (.RW2) files into Lightroom 5.3. When I go into the Develop module under the Camera Calibration the only profile that shows up is Adobe Standard. My camera is supported according to the Adobe web site.

Oct 2, 2007I have CS3 installed, my OS is Windows Vista 64. When I am using Bridge I cannot find Camera Raw. If I highlight an image and then right click on it, I cannot see the "open in Camera Raw" command, it's not greyed out just not there, also it is not in the File drop down menu. So, I cannot use Camera Raw! I have tried reinstalling CS3 but the problem is still there. I have installed all available updates, but no change. My partner also has CS3 on thier computer with Windows Vista and Camera Raw works fine.

Oct 19, 2013I'm having a problem with the embedded camera data that is stored with a photograph. I'm not sure but every once in a while PS deletes the data from a photograph when I edit the photograph.
This is not happening every time. Some photographs I edit all the data is still there after I edit. Others I edit have been changed. All the camera data is missing and the original creation date, the date the photograph was taken is changed to the date I edited the photograph.
The creation date and time is important to me to keep photographs from different cameras in the correct sequence of real time. Is this normal for PS or am I causing it?

Mar 12, 2012I shoot RAW with a Canon 5D Mark II. I am using Lightroom 3. All of the sudden I can't find my camera profile settings in the Develop Module under the Camera Calibration Panel. They used to be there and now they are gone. "2010" is selected under the Process bar, but only Matrix shows up as my available Camera Profiles. What did I do to make them disappear? I can't think of anything that I could have done. Haven't done much except edit photos and now my profiles are missing! How can I get my camera profiles back?

Nov 28, 2011I have this message when I start Lightroom 3 (roughly translated from french) "Missing camera profiles : some of your camera profiles are missing, that may alter the rendering of your raw files. Reinstall lightroom to restore them."
I did try to reinstall LR3 but without success. I'm with Lightroom from v1 an did upgrade to v2 then v3. I remember that I did remove a folder in the lightroom folder that I thought to be related to LR2 after upgrading to LR3. That's probably when the problem starts to occurs.
what are these missing files and how should proceed to restore them ? Where they installed by an older version ? I'm shooting with a D80 DSLR.

Jun 18, 2013Every time I try to use shake reduction, it works on the photo but then immediately crashes Photoshop CC and I have to reboot the computer to get it to open again. I suspect it has something to do with RAM. Mine is set for 1192MB. Is that enough? The images I tried were about 2000 x 3000 at 72ppi.

Feb 23, 2014Just came back from the camera store after testing out the Nikon Coolpix P7800 and Sony RX100ii. Imported the RAW files into LR 5.3 to compare the image quality of the cameras. I noticed that I could not assign camera and lens profiles to the photos. I currently have a Nikon P7100 which does show up in the drop down list and have had no problem doing lens corrections for the older camera. I thought the P7800 and RX100ii cameras were added in the latest update.

Dec 21, 2011I recently returned from a photo trip where for the first time I used multiple camera bodies (I purchased a second 5D MII body).
When importing my photgraphs into Lightroom I find all the correct lens profiles are available to images shot with my original 5D MII body, but images taken with the new body are only presented with a default list of 15 profiles, which don't include several of the lenses I used.
I'm using LR 3.6 on Windows 7 64 bit and find that the full list of lens profiles is in the folowing folder:
C:ProgramDataAdobeCameraRawLensProfiles1.0
I also found the following folder present on the PC which had no profiles but and empty Dowloads folder.
C:UsersUserNameAppDataRoamingAdobeCameraRawLensProfiles1.0
So tried copying the profiles here but that didn't work either.
How I can correct this problem get all my profiles avalable to both bodies? I tried exporting the images to photoshop and downloading lens profiles via the Lens Correction Filter but that didn't work either.

Dec 13, 2013PSPx6 64-bit runs fine on my computer, but a few weeks ago, the shortcut icon on my desktop (installed by installer program) "defaulted" to a generic-looking "document" icon that communicates nothing. The original icon with a camera and "64-bit" in it disappeared, and I can't figure out how to get it back. Deleting the generic desktop icon and re-creating a shortcut from program files/corel/corel paintshop pro x6 (64-bit) doesn't restore the original icon either. Sounds trivial, but a dumb-looking icon in the system tray (when I have a lot of work going on) doesn't work for me find PSPx6 when I have minimized it. Plus, I wonder if the missing icon isn't sign something else is "broken" as well? (diagnosis, PSPx6 32-bit is also on this laptop, as is PSP pro x3.)

Jul 20, 2013I'm starting to get fairly comfortable with the new shake reduction tool in CC and the results are fantastic. It's already saved several old photos that I had given up on as hopelessly motion blurred. Now that I'm getting familiar with the tool though, I have a question. I know the tool allows for multiple blur traces to be created. How are they used, and won't they conflict with one another. If part of the image is more blurred than another, or blurred in a slightly different direction, won't the corrections applied from the blur trace determined by one part of the image actually further blur the parts of the image where that blur trace doesn't apply (and isn't the same true of the second trace then)? how the tool handles multiple traces? Are they applied locally with diminishing effect as the distance from the measurement region increases? Are they applied in some other smart fashion?

May 28, 2013I have a file with a lot of moire on a child's dress and am having problems using camera raw moire adjustment tool.
I opened a jpeg file (not raw) in camera raw. When I use the moire adjustment brush - set to +100 - and click on the eyeglass tool in the window to see the effect - it shows a white overlay.
Clicking the preview button doesn't show up any difference.I have saved several files as tests but the moire remains unaltered.
