Photoshop :: Unable To Find Shake Reduction Filter Among Sarpen Filters?
Sep 4, 2013After installation of PS CC I have not been able to find Shake Reduction filter among Sarpen filters.

View 3 RepliesIs it best to apply the shake reduction filter last, when applying other sharpening, or at the beginning, so I'm working with the "unblurred" image?
View 6 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop did get an update. However, the shake reduction filter does not appear as an option.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just finished downloading the most recent PS CS6 updates from the cloud.
I currently have 13.1.2 x 64. I do not have Shake Reduction in Filter > Sharpen. How to get Shake Reduction to show.
Every time I try to use shake reduction, it works on the photo but then immediately crashes Photoshop CC and I have to reboot the computer to get it to open again. I suspect it has something to do with RAM. Mine is set for 1192MB. Is that enough? The images I tried were about 2000 x 3000 at 72ppi.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the latest version of Photoshop updated from the Creative Cloud. I have a full membership and pay monthly so updates come up accordingly using the Adobe Install/Update Manager.
I really want to use the Shake Reduction tool but it is not appearing in my filters list even though I have Photoshop CC all updated? What to do to gain this amazing filter.
Wanted to use this new, cool tool, but got the error message "No more virtual tiles can be allocated". ???
This is not a scratch disk error, as I have two-2TB drives as my scratch disks (nothing on either yet). 16GB memory (RAM), 14680MB available memory to PS, 2030 available VRAM. Running nVida GeForce GTX 670 on a Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz.
Is this a GPU function that may not be available to some graphic cards? Is my image too big (4000x3000px)?
Shake reduction otherwise works well, but the "unlock preview" button under the loupe view causes the filter to completely freeze up and then I often have to reboot.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI downloaded photoshop CS6 from creative cloud to my mac. Under filter/sharpen I do not have shake reduction. Is this a setup problem or a app.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm starting to get fairly comfortable with the new shake reduction tool in CC and the results are fantastic. It's already saved several old photos that I had given up on as hopelessly motion blurred. Now that I'm getting familiar with the tool though, I have a question. I know the tool allows for multiple blur traces to be created. How are they used, and won't they conflict with one another. If part of the image is more blurred than another, or blurred in a slightly different direction, won't the corrections applied from the blur trace determined by one part of the image actually further blur the parts of the image where that blur trace doesn't apply (and isn't the same true of the second trace then)? how the tool handles multiple traces? Are they applied locally with diminishing effect as the distance from the measurement region increases? Are they applied in some other smart fashion?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter not using Photoshop CS4 for over a week (vacation), I have come back to work and found that I am unable to utilize the Filters or Filter Gallery on my projects.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently downloaded Photoshop CC, which I think is very good, but I can't find the much vaunted ' Camera shake filter', has it been released yet or do I need to reinstall Photoshop?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have dowloaded the Trial version of Photoshop CC in Spanish and everything is fine with one exception: the camera shake filter option does not appear on the list of options.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am on a PC, Windows 7 and CS5.5 Creative Suite in 64bit. I have downloaded pixelbenderplugin_p3_pscs5-1_64bit_061711.mxp
I have run Extension Manager as Administrator
Yet still Pixel Binder does not show up in my Filters List.
Working on a night shot of a building and processed through ACR7.2 and forgot to reduce the noise - and opened in Photoshop. Went to Filter/Reduce Noise and immediately get wierd banding in the window blinds. This banding is there regardless of the noise reduction settings and could not get it to go away - See attached screen shot of before and after applying the filter. So I went back and opened the file again in ACR7.2 and applied the Noise Reduction there and bingo, noise level dropped and looked good with no banding. Looks like the Noise Reduction capabilities in ACR7.2 are way better than the Noise Reduction filter - but surely the banding should not be there; especially if images do not get processed through Camera RAW.
Running latest version of Photoshop CS6 (latest patches applied), Windows 7 x64 16GB RAM, Intel 4000 with latest drivers installed. Camera file was ACR2 from Canon 5DMKII imported as a DNG file - then opened in ACR 7.2
Before Image Opened in Photoshop before applying the Noise Reduction Filter. After Image in Photoshop after applying the Noise Reduction Filter. Seems like a bug to me .By the way, the screen captures are from the image viewed at 100%.
I cant seem to find filter select or a list view for the record area. Both of these functions come in handy on feature films and episodic television especially vfx heavy shows.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy decor filter has disappeared from the filters menu. Was using it yesterday, no problem. Today, it's just gone. I have uninstalled Gimp and reinstalled it several times and that does not work.
The version I am using is 2.8.4 and I have a PC with Windows 7. I have been using the program for the last two months with no problems and the more I use the more I like it.
Just to add the issue, I installed Gimp 2.8.4 on my wife's computer, and the filter is there.
I've just purchased Adobe CS6 and it won't let me use the filters menu. When ever I try to use (for example) the liquify tool, it keeps coming up with 'could not complete the liquify command because the file was not found" it keep's coming up with this message with any command I try to make from the filter menu.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased anew lap top with Windows 8 (updated to 8.1). i have reloaded my Elements v11, but since the new build, I have been unable to access "Filters".
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am trying to find a filter using CS4 that enables me to produce the exaggerated line "scratchy" effect. The photo below is an example of the effect. It would be used on parallel lines criss-crossing each other. I haven't been able to find anything similar. I've already tried the smudge tool, rough pastels, and wind. But, the effect isn't strong enough. Is there another filter out there? I've also already looked at the filters on Adobe Community page.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded a trial version of PS. I am following a tutorial which I think has been carried out on a MAC. I have a PC. In the tutorial, the teacher selects Filter > Artistic > Palette knife...
On my version I have Filter > but then there is no option for Artistic. Is this located elsewhere or is the trial version not a complete version? I noticed 2 versions were downloaded onto my PC - Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC (64bit). Is this part of the issue?
I cannot seem to find the Diffuse Glow filter in CC. I have been using PS for years and have always seen it under the filter, distort, diffuse glow.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to make a normal map with Gimp.
All the tutorials say go to Filters>Map>Normal Map This option doe not show in my Gimp.
Is this an error? Do I need a plugin?
I may be missing something entirely obvious, (indeed I often do), but I cant discover a way of using filters so I can see a dsiplay of pictures which I have not assigned to a collection?
View 2 Replies View RelatedPer this screen shot, I am unable to view or access the filter gallery and I would very much like to. The history portion of the screen shot shows my workflow.
First I opened an image and then opened a Curves adjustment layer. Because I only wanted to change the luminosity values, I then changed the Blending Mode from Normal to "Luminosity". Then I made a minor Curves adjustment, followed by forming a new layer via copy of my original background layer.
At that time, I was unable to access the filter gallery. I therefore converted that layer I had just created into a smart object but, as the screen shot demonstrates, am still unable to access the filter gallery.
I am running CS6 on a Mac and I am working in Adobe RGB image mode, 16 bit.
Using LR4 (not 4.1) and Win7 Home Premium. Catalog had been upgraded from LR3 and LR4 catalog was working fine until now. I've been using LR since the beginning. Two problems, probably related. 106K photos over two drives, almost 3Tb.
At the catalog level, there are no previews. Normally previews of all 106K photos would be displayed. Message is "Click the "import" button to begin." Filter function does not work Message: "No photos match the filter".At the drive level, there are no previews. Message is "No photos in selected folder" Filter function does not work Message: "No photos match the filter". At the folder level, everything is fine, except two folders give the same message "No photos in selected folder" Filter function does not work in these two folders: Message: "No photos match the filter" 14K photos between the two bad folders. Dozens, hundreds, of other folders and subfolders are fine. Filter function works fine at folder and subfolder level. Collections are fine, including photos in the two folders giving the mesage "No photos in selected folder"
Tried to import the missing folders. Won't import because they're already in the catalog. Won't import even if I uncheck "Don't import suspected duplicates". Exported as a catalog one of the "No photos in selected folder" folders. It appeared to create a viable catalog with previews, search filters, etc. I edited a few photos with no problems. Although it did give a message saying several hundred previews were missing. But they seem to be there anyway.Deleted the folder from the catalog and imported from catalog the working folder catalog that I just created. Exported as a catalog the other "No photos in selected folder" folder. Same result as the first bad folder. I.e. It appeared to create a viable catalog with previews, search filters, etc. Although it did give a message saying several hundred previews were missing. But they seem to be there anyway. Haven't done anything with this second folder catalog. Intriguing, the same message about missing previews. The actual files and *.xmp files are in the bad folders.
I am trying to simplify find tool as filter in AutoCAD in Inventor(please find attachment img1) as shown in img3 creating a user form and selecting entities with category property straight away.
