Are any brush files located in the /templates/eng/brushes directory automatically loaded? Mine did that from a previous version and they survived the upgrade. New brush files seem to be ignored. Is there a regedit tweak for loading the files so that they do not have to be manually loaded? What has to happen to have a brush file recognized by the program so its brushes are an option in the brush menu?

I created a dll and wanted to auto netload it upon launch of AutoCAD Arch.I have used the following instructions in URL....

However, when i typed in my commands for the dll, AutoCAD displayed Unknown Command "<Command Name>". Press F1 for help.I have tried suggestions by people comments in the above link (i.e. setting acdbmgd.dll and acmgd.dll to Copy Local = False, restarting computer) , but I have done so, and the error still persists.
I also have used the method as suggested by writing a STARTUP lisp function to auto netload the dll file in URL...But the same error persists. I have used Process Explorer to check if acad.exe has loaded the DLL, and it did! But the commands are not found.
When I manually netload the dll by typing the netload command and selecting the dll, there is no such issue. This only occurs to me when I tried the auto methods.The methods only works so far if I launch acad.exe through Debug mode in VS2008.Definitely need to auto netload the DLL for my application, when AutoCAD Arch startups.
When I insert my camera card into the pc, PSP comes up.
But I do not want PSP to load up yet. How do I stop PSP from loading when I insert my camera card? I cannot find the box I am supposed to uncheck.
Is there any way to add a favorite brush stroke to the list of brush strokes, or do you always have to open the original file to access the brush stroke?
View 9 Replies View RelatedIn Designer Pro 6 Under Options, Backups, there's a check box that says, "Backup open documents on program close and restore on program start." Sometimes I want some of my open documents to reopen on program start (I think this is great!) But my problem is even when I first close those documents (that I don't want to open on program restart) before closing XDP6, when I reopen XDP6 the ones that I closed reopen. What can be done to change this behavior if I want to keep the box checked?

When I select a brush/color besides the default, it automatically switches to the default/black when the pen gets close enough to be detected by the tablet.
i threw all my brush ABR's into the adobe Photoshop/Preset/Brushes folder so they would appear when I click on the expanded options inside of the brush panel on the top/right under the close "x". however that icon is so small and annoying to click on, does anyone know of a easier way to load/switch between brush sets?

View 5 Replies View RelatedJust a question about adding objects to an arc instead of a whole circle for example using a hearts brush. I draw a circle, convert it to a shape and then bisect it with a line that has also been converted to a shape then I slice and break shapes and now I have a perfect arc but when I go to my brushes and try to add my hearts brush to the arc it like doubles the hearts. Is there anyway to overcome this so that I only have a single row of hearts on the arc. By the way I'm using XaraXtreme Pro 5. T
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhat I am trying to do is to have a flat vector brush in black that I can change to whatever colour I want later just be selecting the colour from the colour bar while I am working.
So. When I edit the brush I go to the fill Properties tab and select 'Local colours replace - all brush colours' and save. The trouble is that it does not seem to save this setting. When I edit the brush again it reverts to 'local colours replace - named colours' I get the same problem if I 'save as new'.
I recently purchased Designer Pro 7 after a trial period. During the trial, I had the default brush gallery, and had also downloaded some additional brushes. After downloading the content pack earlier this week, my brush gallery disappeared. The only brush that is available is the "normal line". All of my "galleries" are checked in the Utilities menu. View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm currently working on a site which is almost 95% complete. The loading time for the site is approx 7-10 seconds which seems to be slow. I have placed a preloader but that doesn't seem to be coming up while the site is loading.
Is there anyway to speed up the loading time. Like some code that will tell it load specific number of frames first and then load the rest in the background?
I have compressed the images that are being used but cannot compress further as they may lose the quality.I've got the preloader working and now it seems to be showing up while the site is loading. Is there any way to speed up the loading time.

Selecting a brush (any 1 pixel) brush

Zooming in to the line (600%) you can see i can draw a marquee through half of it ...

No matter what 1 single pixel brush i use this will happen... no matter which computer i use cs6 on and different copies of the installation. Anyway have any insight into this? frankly... it's somewhat limiting that i can't use the brush for stroking a shape if i need a pixel line and yet soft curves that a pencil won't get you.
I am not very good with photoshop, and if there was a brush tool setting to make it just like an actual paint brush.

When I change the settings for 1 brush... say I add some jitter to a smooth brush - then suddenly the other brushes get the same jitter applied to them.
How can I set the brushes so that each brush has a different setting that doesn't change when I change any other brush settings?
p.s. I also don't get why Adobe has you lock a brush by UNlocking it? Seems to me it should be the other way around?
I have contacted Adobe about issues with Photoshop brushes recently. My issue is that the brush size is smaller than the circle that represents the brush. In other words, when I hoover over the area that I want to paint or erase with the circle and then click, the painted or erased area is smaller that the circle. It's really frustrating when fine tuning an image, you never know how close you are to what you want to correct. This is only visible when you zoom in quit a bit. I worked with an Adobe tech for over an hour and he could not simulate the problem. Then he finally asked if I was using a retina display, (he was not).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using a tablet with gimp and I want to be able to set the brush size for the paint brush and also for the eraser, separately. What happens now is that I'll set the paintbrush size to 10px, paint for a little while, turn the pen over to erase and the eraser will now be at 10px. So I'll adjust the eraser size to something like 50px, erase, turn over, and now the paintbrush is at 50px. Grrrrrrr... I tried creating new brushes for both the paintbrush and the eraser, but there's no brush size option. This is my first time using gimp so I'm probably missing something.

in the presettings i saw the brush was set to normal size.also i played with the jitter sizes, to no avail.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem with the Blob Brush tool where I can't change the basic brush to something else. Whenever I pick a brush I want and I try draw with the Blob Brush tool, the brush I picked reverts back to the basic brush. Here are screenshots:

But when I start drawing with the Blob Brush tool, it reverts back to the basic brush automatically
Am I doing something wrong or is the Blob Brush tool only capable of using the basic brush?
When I use the Adjustment brush it turns the brush line red.... even is I change the exposure, tint, saturation, color...etc
