I'm using P&GD2013. I draw with a wacom tablet and use the freehand brush tool in sketch mode with pressure enabled. I want to edit the properties of the brush . The help pages are quite clear except that I can't access the dialog box because the 'edit brush' button is greyed out.
View 2 RepliesWhenever I edit an Extrude 'cut' feature,(eg: To Add or remove a profile), the OK button is greyed out and no matter what I do, I can't get it back.
The only way to edit the extrusion is to:
Shift EOP
Delete the extrusion
Recreate the extrusion.
Shift EOP
fix errors if any.

I want to open CorelDraw's "Edit Text" Dialog with a Macro Button. How do i assign this dialog to open with my button?

When X7 and its Group Editing mode first came out, there were grumblings about the "Closing Document" dialog that appears when clicking on the little "X" found on the Edit Inside tab.
I am sure most folks have found that can all be bypassed (assuming you want to keep the edits you just made). But for those that haven't, simply click the Save Icon in the Standard Toolbar.
I am trying to access the edit original (edit with) option to edit a photo that has not been edited yet. I right click and go through the edit menu and does not appear or is not available? Would I have to reopen it manual in photoshop or is there a way around this to access that setting? it sometimes does not appear on my already edited photos.
I would prefer not to open each photo again, as some files i do not have and were imported into the document with another computer.

On a trial version of Photoshop CS6 extended trial the 3D links in the tab is greyed out. and nor can I make any 3D objects. Why is this? This is my System Info from PS (the first part only). The GPU FAQ states that my graphics card was tested: [URL] .....

I find that my save button is greyed out both on the ribbon and in the left dropdown window above "save as"! The project does seem to be automatically saving. Just can't access that button! Using Revit 2013 Ultimate. Win 7 64 Pro.

The user defined button is not available (greyed out).

It may be because my organizer window seems to now be attached to the desktop menu bar. the display function has now disappeared, and I can't change the way the media browser is structured. I am in folder location an can't get any other view.

When I open a subassembly from within the top assembly, the place button is greyed out.
When I open the same subassembly directly, not having the top assembly loaded, the place button is back again.
This is a new fenomenon for 2014 and I cannot figure out why the place button suddenly greyes out.
I do not run Vault client although it was installed. The problem remains after having uninstalled the Vault client.
I am able to access the brush pallet, but every brush is greyed out.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have Photoshop CS5 extended and a Mac with OSX 10.6.8. I was altering the 1st and only layer in my .psd file by filling areas with the "content aware" setting. (The background is blank.) It was working great, too! Then suddenly the "fill" selection under "edit" was greyed out, as well as most of the other things on the edit menu. It doesn't matter what I try to select in that layer.
I shut down Photoshop and restarted my computer, but it didn't work. Duplicating the layer didn't work, either. I CAN fill and stroke in the background layer.
The Edit menu in LR3 has greyed out the option of any Photoshop program as an external editing system. I still have PSE 9 on the hard drive as well but neither is available. How do I correct this?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am a long time user of CorelDRAW but have been moving more and more to Adobe CS. In part because it is the standard in the graphic design industry but also because Corel always seems to have some issue. My latest issue is when I select an imported image in a CorelDraw file and go to the top menu, I can't select edit bitmap. The option is grayed out. It's a new install on winxp-pro. I've used this tool over many years and questioned why Adobe could not launch photoshop and edit embedded images from within Illustrator. It still can't, but it can edit linked files, a danger if you only want to apply changes to the image in your current work file. Corel's ability to edit embedded images is a great feature. Why it does not work has got me stumped. jpg files are associated with Photo-Paint, I close and reopen Corel and still no capability to edit images from within CorelDraw.

I was operating on a 2560x1600 screen and I guess I happened to have the rendering dialog box at the far right. I had a hard drive failure yesterday, so while that is being fixed, I'm running on another computer at 1920x1200 and that dialog box isn't visible.
How to reset the dialog box or force it back onto the visible screen?
(It would be really sweet if the software was programmed to recognize the current desktop setting and ensure this kind of thing doesn't happen.
I have a strange thing that all of a sudden started happening. If I Rt-Clk on a surface on a profile and select Edit Profile geometry, the dialog box comes up, but almost every option in there is greyed out!
This is not drawing-specific, not is it machine specific.

I recently installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 on my MacBook Pro. I attempted to select, then edit a photo that I created a while ago. All of the Edit Functions were dimmed. I confirmed that the photo was set with RGB color mode, and it is in Full/Edit mode. The primary functions that I attempted to use were Copy & Paste. I opened the same file on my iMac and it worked just fine. How I can make the Edit Functions work on my MacBook Pro?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI try to open anything in Photoshop CS, the dialog window shows up for a fraction of a second and then disappears. Photoshop then immediately locks up as if the window is still there and I need to make a selection from there. Only way to do anything at this point is to CTL-ALT-DEL and close Photoshop.
I can't think of anything I installed on the laptop lately, Photoshop has run without incident for months on this machine. The other items in CS don't seem to have any problems at all either.
I am trying to add a button to the Quick Access Toolbar in Inventor 2013 Professional. The button shows up, but it is always at the end of the toolbar. I want it to appear befor the Open button.

I would like to creat a dialog box with buttons or radio buttons to insert various blocks. something easy to start the dialogue, push the button desired and my block or lisp is inserted or run. I have the dcl part figured out. i'm not quite smart enough to get the lisp down. is there a generic lisp that can reference a lisp command that i can alter or edit and add to?
