I first tried capturing the video from a Sony camcorder but VS keeps freezng up on "change field order". So then I just downloaded the files to my computer and tried to load them that way. But the program does not see MTS files in the folder.
View 4 RepliesI've a large number of DV AVI (Type 2) files I've edited several times using VS. But in the last couple of days X3 has stopped loading them into the project timeline. I suspect I have inadvertently deleted, or unlinked, the Type 2 codec. Strangely, the files play OK with Media Player, it's just X3 that's refusing to work! I've reinstalled X3 but that's not made any difference. How do I identify the codecs available?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a large scan project (Scene 5.0's new file structure) that contains a few registered workspaces (*.fws) and I would like to import at least one into AutoCAD 2013. I followed the workflow of going to Insert>Point Cloud>Create Point Cloud, and I selected the *.fws that I wanted to import (or rather have indexed into a *.PCG).
As soon as I hit 'Create' I get an error that says 'FAILURE! Fail to open scan file" and nothing happens. I can import *.fls, but they are not registered.
Does FARO not support AutoCAD 2013?
I can't load my MOV files from my Drift camera. I get the "file format mismatch". is there a patch for VS 11?

View 12 Replies View RelatedJust purchased a Nikon P500 and had / have to create a short video. The *.MOV files (I've tried everything from VGA to 1080p) will import into X2, but kill the app when I try outputting to any file type / format; I cannot even write to an audio file.
Nikon is next, then Adobe, but I can write the MOV file to a DVD and the files open in QuickTime and Media Player.
I've encountered an issue regarding opening FLV. or AVI file extensions. AVI files - Whenever I try to open AVI files in Corel VideoStudio X5 Pro I get an error message saying "so and so file is not accessible" and then a second message replies: "These files cannot be added to the project. These files may of unknown file format, the computer does have enough memory, or the file is copyright protected."

I just installed Ulead VideoStudio 10 on Windows 7 and am having problem viewing .avi files even the sample ones with the installation, also the audio is not working. everything works fine on Windows XP. Is there a patch or Ulead VideoStudio 10 is not compatible with Windows 7?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a project that suddenly won't load. I have 25 versions of it, I save it under a new file name each time in case I need to go back to an older version.
Trouble is most of the versions won't load! Only the very early versions will load. Some of the later version start to load then disappear.
Hardware hasn't changed on the PC, maybe the video drivers have been updated, thats about it.
Just installed X6 on a computer everything was working well then I installed the latest hotfix now all I get is a blank error window (no text a red circle with an X on it and an OK button.
It never finishes loading. Has not since installing the hotfix.I tried repairing the install, dumping temp files, F8 on start and none of them made any difference.

I am no longer able to import any type of file into Revit. It doesn't matter if it is a CAD file, Image file, or a new Family. When I click the import or load button the program appears to freeze and no dialog box appears. I can hit escape and its back to normal. I tried seeing if the dialog box was hidden behind all my open programs but I can't seem to locate it anywhere.

I am now unable to upload pictures directly to my computer because every time i put a memory card in, lightroom pops up and they upload there. Because of this i can not upload the photos to any other program, including the program that i spent $80 to use. I have tried deleting the shortcut, but this doesn't uninstall the lightroom program. I am not sure how to uninstall it because i want it off of my computer.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHave developed a problem trying to load some TIF images into Photoshop. I have a large number of images archived over a decade or more. At this point it may some of the older files that exhibit the problem.
Now all these files were edited and stored using the Photoshop versions during the complete time period. The files are always saved with no compression. Have tried to load from Photoshop and clicking on the file in a file list. Photoshop just hangs and I get the message Program not responding. I can take these same files and load them into the ROXIO photo editor with no problem. Stranger yet is if I simply load the file into the ROXIO editor then "save as" back into the same folder (overwrite) the file can then be brought into Photoshop with no problem!
I am using Photoshop cs5 extended on windows 7, Unable to load camera raw images into photoshop directly or via adobe bridge. I download all the Camera Raw file ready, but still not working..I open my CS 5 Extended and open with the CR2 file, it pop out "Could Not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of camera Raw, Â

I've just installed PSPx6, downloaded and installed updates. I'm using the 64 bit version and it will not load any plug-ins. I've set the file locations etc.
I've been using PSP since version 7, so I'm pretty capable. This is really making me angry though. It's a useless program to me if it won't utilize my Dreamsuite, KPT, Filters Unlimited, Plaid lite, and Muras copies.
I'm trying to load an ink splatter brush set from brusheezy.
The extension is *.abr
When I select load brushes and pick the file nothing happens. I'm not asked to replace or append and my brush palette remains the same.
Any ideas on what the problem may be?

I have even created a very simple addin from the (C#) template, compiled and registered it and it still will not load up. I get the addin to appear in the Inventor Add-ins dialog ok but it will not load for some reason. I have tried generating various .Net versions 2.0, 3.0 & 3.5 all produce the same result. I have also tried to debug the add-in by getting Visual Studio to launch Inventor but it does not even appear to be loading the add-in. I have dug out some work I did months ago and tried that but it does not work either. Is there a log in Inventor?

I have installed AutoCAD (Map 3D 2012) onto a users machine. When I run the software, I get a message box appear saying it cant load the profile...
I went into the registry and noticed that his registry is missing a lot of keys for Map 3D (attached)
I have attached a copy of my registry for comparison.
What would typically cause this? I have tried to delete the registry entry and let it re-configure, but i get all sorts of errors (Internal Error 2738).
I should probably mention that I am using a profile switch in the shortcut.
I was not able to load the program due to a limited space on my C drive, the program would not allow mew to change to anoither drive event thought it says select another drive, now it states that the program is in the process of loading even though I've rebooted twice.

View 13 Replies View RelatedOn starting autocad, before anything else appears an error box pops up saying "Unable to load Profile file, some profile information saved in the last session may not be restored". Click to accept the message and autocad starts normally with the exception that the ribbon doesn't show -at all. The user then switches to the classic workspace and back again and the ribbon will appear as expected.
The user, I believe, has local admin rights. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. My next step, is a last resort, which will involve uninstalling, then using some kinda registry cleaner to erase any trace of autocad on the laptop, then reinstalling - this is a bit severe, and will require the co-operation of my own IT dept, which can be like pulling teeth. I'm wondering if there's any other, less time consuming solution to this irritating problem?

I have two boxes here where something seems to create a acfusion.cuix, an aliasconcept.cuix and a acetmain.cuix. If I unload them and restart, I dont get the error but the have been created. Could a startup lisp be creating these? I havent done anything with lisp files. the target in the shortcut doesnt seem to be pointing to a lisp file.
We dont need these cuix files how can I stop them from being created on start up?
