I'm trying to load an ink splatter brush set from brusheezy.
The extension is *.abr
When I select load brushes and pick the file nothing happens. I'm not asked to replace or append and my brush palette remains the same.
Any ideas on what the problem may be?

Recently I had to wipe the HD and reinstall the OS, and everything else.
Photoshop deactivated, installed and re-activated fine, but when I try to use any brushes(except the default ones), I get:
"Could not load the brushes because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop"
This is weird as they worked just fine before I had to redo everything...
Anyone know what's the cause?
is there a fast and easy to load ALL brushes? or must you go one by one?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to have a palette of about a dozen or so of my favorite brushes, but I want to select them from the hundreds of brushes which can be loaded. Once I load a set, it is a very, very time consuming process to delete a couple of hundred individual brushes from the set so that I have only the few I want.
Is there a better way to do this? Can multiple brushes somehow be deleted at once? Or can I inspect brush sets and choose to load the individual brushes which interest me?

I can only see the first 160 brush sets I have out of the couple of hundred. In CS5 I could scroll through them, but not in CS6.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHave developed a problem trying to load some TIF images into Photoshop. I have a large number of images archived over a decade or more. At this point it may some of the older files that exhibit the problem.
Now all these files were edited and stored using the Photoshop versions during the complete time period. The files are always saved with no compression. Have tried to load from Photoshop and clicking on the file in a file list. Photoshop just hangs and I get the message Program not responding. I can take these same files and load them into the ROXIO photo editor with no problem. Stranger yet is if I simply load the file into the ROXIO editor then "save as" back into the same folder (overwrite) the file can then be brought into Photoshop with no problem!

View 8 Replies View RelatedMY photoshop was working fine up until a week ago. Then get gave me this error message. "Unable to continue because of hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable". The error pops up when photoshop is loading "building color convertion tables" or something to that effect. It is not the fonts becuase I have not installed any new fonts, have defraged my hardrive. I have used FontDoctor, and all my fonts are fine. The only thing that i did do is install the new directx june 2006, and the new NVIDIA drivers. I uninstalled my Nvidia drivers but problem still persists, please I am desparate for help, formating my hard drive is not an option. I have reset the prefs both via ctrl, atl and shift, and searching for the psp file and deleting it manually, same problem pops up. I installed Photoshop cs and I recieve the same error message. I can however run and use ImageReady.

The samples provided in the SDK detailed how to load /unload extension from a menu item from Illustrator, and how to add / remove EventListeners to make the magic happen.
to sum up, this is something like that:
1- click on the menu item
2- load extension
3- add listeners
4- do your stuff......
5- remove listeners
6- unload extension
Basically my plugin is a module/service which is in charge of dealing with / modifying artwork tree. It has no User Interface.
My extension will have a user of this service.
What I would like to do is to load my extension as soon as my plugin is loaded, and unload the extension when the plugin will be unloaded.
Or notify when extension is loaded or unloaded.
Is that possible and hw could I achieve that?
I've a large number of DV AVI (Type 2) files I've edited several times using VS. But in the last couple of days X3 has stopped loading them into the project timeline. I suspect I have inadvertently deleted, or unlinked, the Type 2 codec. Strangely, the files play OK with Media Player, it's just X3 that's refusing to work! I've reinstalled X3 but that's not made any difference. How do I identify the codecs available?

I am no longer able to import any type of file into Revit. It doesn't matter if it is a CAD file, Image file, or a new Family. When I click the import or load button the program appears to freeze and no dialog box appears. I can hit escape and its back to normal. I tried seeing if the dialog box was hidden behind all my open programs but I can't seem to locate it anywhere.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just installed PSPx6, downloaded and installed updates. I'm using the 64 bit version and it will not load any plug-ins. I've set the file locations etc.
I've been using PSP since version 7, so I'm pretty capable. This is really making me angry though. It's a useless program to me if it won't utilize my Dreamsuite, KPT, Filters Unlimited, Plaid lite, and Muras copies.
I have having difficulty getting any addins to load at the moment and am totally stumped as to what the problem is. I have even created a very simple addin from the (C#) template, compiled and registered it and it still will not load up. I get the addin to appear in the Inventor Add-ins dialog ok but it will not load for some reason. I have tried generating various .Net versions 2.0, 3.0 & 3.5 all produce the same result. I have also tried to debug the add-in by getting Visual Studio to launch Inventor but it does not even appear to be loading the add-in. I have dug out some work I did months ago and tried that but it does not work either. Is there a log in Inventor?
I am using C# in Visual Studio 2008 Pro & Inventor 2011.
