AutoCAD 2010 :: Unable To Load Profile

I have installed AutoCAD (Map 3D 2012) onto a users machine. When I run the software, I get a message box appear saying it cant load the profile...
I went into the registry and noticed that his registry is missing a lot of keys for Map 3D (attached)
I have attached a copy of my registry for comparison.
What would typically cause this? I have tried to delete the registry entry and let it re-configure, but i get all sorts of errors (Internal Error 2738).
I should probably mention that I am using a profile switch in the shortcut.

On starting autocad, before anything else appears an error box pops up saying "Unable to load Profile file, some profile information saved in the last session may not be restored". Click to accept the message and autocad starts normally with the exception that the ribbon doesn't show -at all. The user then switches to the classic workspace and back again and the ribbon will appear as expected.
The user, I believe, has local admin rights. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. My next step, is a last resort, which will involve uninstalling, then using some kinda registry cleaner to erase any trace of autocad on the laptop, then reinstalling - this is a bit severe, and will require the co-operation of my own IT dept, which can be like pulling teeth. I'm wondering if there's any other, less time consuming solution to this irritating problem?

Goal: to use Autocad 2013 or 2012 with AutoQuoterX II™ from 8020 .net.I first installed 2013 but got the error, then tried updating to latest patch. Then I tried reinstall - no fix.
I then uninstalled and tried install 2012. Updated latest patch - no fix.I am having an issue where I am getting an error message "unhandled exception"..Unable to load DLL 'sqlceme35.dll': The specified module could not be found. unable to load customization file:

that customization group already exists.
I have two boxes here where something seems to create a acfusion.cuix, an aliasconcept.cuix and a acetmain.cuix. If I unload them and restart, I dont get the error but the have been created. Could a startup lisp be creating these? I havent done anything with lisp files. the target in the shortcut doesnt seem to be pointing to a lisp file.
We dont need these cuix files how can I stop them from being created on start up?

It relates to machines which often have different users. I can get ACADM2011 to run for that user by editing the registry and importing keys from a good profile then modifying to user the new users credentials. This is Ok for a fudge fix but not suitable as a final solutions as I have to roll out 2011 to another 90 machines.
All users have full admin rights through a group policy so that is not part of the issue.
What I have noticed is that on machine which will work as expected the secondary installer runs in two steps. The first being the AutoCAD Mechanical 2011 install and then the language pack install. On machines which will fail and have the Profile issue only the language pack install runs. Where does ACAD look to check which causes this first install part to be skipped?

We have AutoCAD Architecture 2011. By default, our profile does not load the AEC commands. I am looking for a way to enable them in session. Short of this I am looking for what controls them.
We have a custom CUI that loads, it was created from the default AutoCAD one. If I switch to the AutoCAD Architecture profile while in AutoCAD the AEC commands do not become active. If I launch AutoCAD from a shortcut that specifies AutoCAD Architecture profile then the AEC commands do load. I have tried loading the AECARCHXOE cui as a partial CUI in our custom CUI but that does not load the ARC commands (either in session or as a new session)
what controls weather the AEC commands load?

I have having difficulty getting any addins to load at the moment and am totally stumped as to what the problem is. I have even created a very simple addin from the (C#) template, compiled and registered it and it still will not load up. I get the addin to appear in the Inventor Add-ins dialog ok but it will not load for some reason. I have tried generating various .Net versions 2.0, 3.0 & 3.5 all produce the same result. I have also tried to debug the add-in by getting Visual Studio to launch Inventor but it does not even appear to be loading the add-in. I have dug out some work I did months ago and tried that but it does not work either. Is there a log in Inventor?
I am using C# in Visual Studio 2008 Pro & Inventor 2011.

May i load a monitor profile in photoshop?for example , i did a test and i calibrated my monitorand i would use the *.icc in photoshop is there a way to keep the monitor uncalibrated but load this profile in photoshop and work in photoshop with a monitor profile
in short it could be a non sense i would love to know only if i can load a calibrate monitor profile in photoshop and if yes , how can i do?

In X3 you could open "Color Management" window, click on the screen icon and load the color profile of your monitor, but in X5 this window has changed and there is now option for the monitor color profile so I can't find how I could import it.

I just loaded AutoCAD 2013 and have loaded Express tools but can't access the tools.
I get a message when I open dwgs "**Express Tools** - Unable to load acetutil.arx"

I have a large scan project (Scene 5.0's new file structure) that contains a few registered workspaces (*.fws) and I would like to import at least one into AutoCAD 2013. I followed the workflow of going to Insert>Point Cloud>Create Point Cloud, and I selected the *.fws that I wanted to import (or rather have indexed into a *.PCG).
As soon as I hit 'Create' I get an error that says 'FAILURE! Fail to open scan file" and nothing happens. I can import *.fls, but they are not registered.
Does FARO not support AutoCAD 2013?

I jumped from 2010 to 2013 when switching jobs.I have to load my profile every time I start AutoCAD, it will not save as default. Also within my profile I created, some setting I have to reclick as they are not saving within the profile. I change the setting, hit apply, the save profile as currrent.I do also have an issure with the settings changing within different drawings. I will go to options and have to re check some boxes, and I havent closed AutoCAD yet.

I work at a place where we use autocad, everywhere... And I'm in IT and i've been struggling with this for a day now. I got 2009/2011 to work, but when i try to get 2010 to work, it just doesnt want to cooperate. Now when i used to start it up a proxy graphics thing would pop up, and i figured out how to turn that off, but then no ribbon loads.
So i go to the command line and type in ribbon, and i get an error:

I've a large number of DV AVI (Type 2) files I've edited several times using VS. But in the last couple of days X3 has stopped loading them into the project timeline. I suspect I have inadvertently deleted, or unlinked, the Type 2 codec. Strangely, the files play OK with Media Player, it's just X3 that's refusing to work! I've reinstalled X3 but that's not made any difference. How do I identify the codecs available?

I am no longer able to import any type of file into Revit. It doesn't matter if it is a CAD file, Image file, or a new Family. When I click the import or load button the program appears to freeze and no dialog box appears. I can hit escape and its back to normal. I tried seeing if the dialog box was hidden behind all my open programs but I can't seem to locate it anywhere.

We have several tool palettes that I use all the time. And every time I close down AutoCAD and open it back up, all the palettes load back up in the middle of my left monitor (dual monitor set up). I typically have my AutoCAD window open on the left monitor, and my palettes on the right monitor.
I have tried to save my profile, lock all Toolbar/Palette positions.....and nothing has any affect. My palettes always load in the middle of my left monitor.
I tried loading the latest graphics drivers, no affect.

I bought Sketchbook Pro a few months ago for my Android 10.1 tablet, and all was well.
Recently, I updated the tablet firmware to 4.0.4 - I don't know if that's relevant.
A few days ago I noticed that Sketchbook Pro would not load sketches form the gallery. It would pasue for maybe 10 seconds then the app would go away. No screen messages.
Sketchbook Express behaves in the same way.
UIninstalling Skewthbook Pro, renaming trhe autodesk folder, rebootnig the tablet, then re-installing does not renmove the problem, so this is something which survives all of that. Perhaps a file associations problem?
I installed apps to view the system logs, and I cam see:

- I have not includede log lines between these which say:
[date & time] D/Sketchbook(1170) or other 4-digit numbers
In other crashes, I see a NullPointerException from Java.
If I double-tap a sketch in the gallery, then I enter the gallery browse mode OK and can flick through the sketches.
If I upload the TIFFs to my PC< they open OK.
By manually deleting some TIFFs I did get the app to open a sketch of two briefly, but that stopped working within a minute or so, and has not worked since.
I have written to the support email given in the Market but been ignored by Autodesk.

I had a problem where AutoCAD would not load a drawing - it kept crashing. However, after selecting "F2" and reviewing the display window - I received the following message:
Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.
Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined.
Sample Entry:
Resolve Xref "02.01.01.13": Z:EngineeringApproved Shop Drawings�0 CELL FILES�2.01.01.13.dwg
"02.01.01.13" loaded.
"02.01.01.13" reference file may have changed since host drawing was last saved.
It was only after the "Continue" option was present that I could open the drawing.

etransmit is not working, error says "Failed to load transmittal component: incorrect registry entry." ... googling this error, as enjoyable as it is, leads nowhere other than to "repair/reinstall Autocad" which I would do if I COULD FIND MY INSTALLATION DISK! which I cannot ...
is there any other command or way to achieve the same end result as the command etransmit? a clue as to why this is happening is that i had to uninstall civil 3d 2012 from this machine and that's when this started ...

For some reason I cant get my lisp files to automatically load. im doing the same thing i did in other versions, but i have to constantly tell them to load when i want to use one.
I have them in the search path, i have them set to load with every drawing in options, what am i missing?
