Photoshop :: Recovering Accidentally Deleted Photos From Camera Raw?
Mar 2, 2013I was preping some photos in camera raw and decided not to edit some of the images so i deleted them on the left side preview on camera raw... now they are gone completely and cannot find them anywhere. Not in the trash. I thought i remembered in the older version of adobe camera raw that if you deleted on there the image remained on the drive sorce?

However, the photos still show up in my Lightroom collections, is there any way I can save the files that are on Lightroom to my hard drive? I'm running Lightroom 5 on a mac.

Jan 24, 2012I added a number of clips to a new project and then realized the result would be too long for a good quality DVD. I've edited the ones I want to retain and deleted the others. The deleted clips all followed the edited ones.
However the space taken by the deleted ones still appears on the timeline although the clips are not on the storyboard. The project duration window still shows the original length.
VideoStudio :: Disc Template Manager Is Deleted
Jul 7, 2013I'm creating a Blu Ray disc on VSP Ultimate x6 and deleted the four Blu Ray Templates under Disc Template Manager.
Not a problem you may say, as they can be made again, renamed and saved. However, the Video Data Rate is greyed out and is always CONSTANT.
Meanwhile, as I render my project to a Blu Ray clip in preparation, the Video Data Rate is always VARIABLE. Now, I can set the amount to say, 20,000 kbps in both but
1/ How can I change the Variable/Constant part?
2/ If I can't, will it re-render these clips just because first render is variable and the Blu Ray disc creation instructs constant?

Jun 11, 2012I can't put video thumbnails into the library. I had deleted previous projects from the library and now the library won't accept anything - even new captures. I can add titles-just not anything into "samples".

Dec 8, 2012I just spent 20-minutes going through 17-chapter thumbnails settings for a DVD menu of this project only to find none of the changes are saving. I tried repeatedly and the chapter thumbnails always revert to the original values for ALL sub-menus. Does seem to save the main menu thumbnail.
All I do is right-click, select to set the thumbnail, find the place and it works. Just doesn't save when I click to CLOSE the DVD process and come back in, eventhough it says "Saving project"
15.1.0.34 so I think I have all outstanding patches. When I go through the internal process to "check for updates, it says I am up-to-date.

Mar 24, 2013I've been looking for a solution casually for about a year to this, maybe I'm just stupid! When I import all my videos from my camera and put them into appropriate folders they make thumbnails for the files. Unfortunetely when I close down my computer and come back, they have disppeared. This is a pain because, it makes a large amount of files easy to work with as you have some idea what's contained from a thumbnail! Now initially I just thought it was my computers age (not that old) but I have a Dell XPS i7 Laptop also and it's the same story!
I shoot high quality 1080i .mts files so I'm sure they are a resource suck! Is it because the computer doesn't have the power in the RAM to remember all these files? I would of thought, once a thumbnail is made it's just like a JPEG and not changing ever in real time? Is there something I've turned off on my computer, telling it not to remember thumbnails?

VideoStudio :: Thumbnails And Edit Window Are Black
Jul 23, 2013I just know I've posted about this before, in years gone by, but I've forgotten something simple. I have VideoStudio ultimatex6, but have an older computer with x5pro. When I load up my avi files, the thumbnails in the library and the edit window show only as black, though the clip name shows beneath the clip. And the clip plays clearly in the preview window that pops up when you ask it to.
I have the program on another computer and this is not a problem. All is fine. What I have assumed is there is a setting somewhere that does this - yet, comparing one to the other, I can't see any difference in the way the units are set under preferences. No doubt, there is some silly little thing causing me to think bad thoughts. So, I want to take the computer - which does have the specs for the program - to the cottage and leave the behemouth home.

May 6, 2012I have been using video studio with no problems adding title tracks before the video clips. Now for some reason I can't make the video clips run after the title but the first one runs at the same time with the title overlayed. I guess I could shoot some black video to add as the first clip but it was working before.

Oct 30, 2012The program comes with a nice selection of title appliqués. The problem arises when you try to use one of them. I am able to make a nice title using the appliqués as a starting point. After changing the text, I basically change the font and color. The new text takes but when I attempt to include that title on my time line, as soon as it starts to run it reverts back to the colors and fonts of the included app. If I attempt to save my changed title, it first reverts back to the original colors and fonts, then saves it. How in the world do I get one of those things to stick.

How can I use the titles where I have a counting title on screen, adding up the total number of people exiting the limo?
I'm thinking along the lines of a car odometer where you see the mileage wheel rotating.

VideoStudio :: Adding Title To A Clip?
Aug 29, 2012I am using VS Pro X4 for quite some time. All of a sudden today, I was not able to "add a title" to a clip. It was working fine yesterday. Whenever I clicked "T" for "add a title to a clip", it switches from "Clip" to "Project" and although the "Double click here to add a title" was shown obviously nothing happened because it was in "Project" view.
After Brian told me that it always go from Clip to Project when clicking "T" or double clicking the Title track, that seems to be normal.. After using VS since VS 9, I have not noticed that before (if something works one usually does not notice anything...).
After re-installing VS Pro X4, per instructions in corel.force.com "How to remove X4 manually", and reinstall it, I am still not able to add text to the clip. Clicking "T" or double clicking the Title track still gave me the "Double click here to add title " notice in the preview window, but nothing happened upon double clicking the Preview window.
Out of curiosity I also ran VS X2 ,that is also in my computer, and with X2 the same problem exists --> no text can be added to a clip.
Back to VS Pro X4, however, I am able to drag a VS pre-set Title clip (Lorem Ipsum) to the Title track and then modify the text. So, if I could not get the problem solved of adding text directly to a clip, I have to add text the long way through the preset Lorem Ipsum clips.

Oct 13, 2010Whenever I add title text which appears to be perfectly centered in the editor, some of it disappears to the right after rendering. To fix this I have to guess how far to the left I enter the text in the editor so it doesnt disappear. Is there some option which would allow me to enter text and have it appear as I enter it? The text is over the background of a colour and I suspect it doesnt like the fact that I am outputting the result as 16:9 which I thought vs pro x2 can handle.

How does one get the video to end on the photo with the title in place, or, freeze on the photo and title after the tile appears. The more I extend the title bar, it just takes longer to appear and still disappears at the end.

Dec 18, 2010I'm trying to add a title to the beginning of my video but when I drag my video clip down to the timeline I can't get it to start after the beginning title. How do I add deadspace to the video timeline so my title text shows at the beginning? I can't figure this out. It seems so simple. I just want text at the beginning and then after 10 seconds I want my home video to start.
