View 2 RepliesI am trying out my new cam which can do video in 24p (23.something), and I can edit the clips, all ok. There are just two things I cannot do: Make a still (it's really the 24p material, I used a clip in 60i and stills worked), and changing the time/frame counter to 24 frames. No matter what I do, it will always stay there.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've built a project up with several smaller project file components. It's an easier way to create a video than editing one big project.
Opening the overall project and running it on screen is not a problem. However, when I try to create a smart package of the composite project, I get a consistent error message rejecting the process because of the existence of the component vsp's.
Is there a way to avoid the error and create a smart package from a project file that has smaller component project files?
There's this GIF that I'd like to use for a banner and when I open the file in GIMP, add a text and then check the animation in the playback window, I can only see the text once the GIF has ended but also, I can only see the text for like one second.
Is it possible to make the text visible on all of the frames of the GIF without having to duplicate the text 100s of times and merging them onto each frames?
I have Video Studio Pro X3. I've never had a problem since I got it, but recently I've been trying to render video at 60 frames per second. I've looked everywhere online for tutorials but still don't understand how to do it. I keep getting 29.97fps in the end. I need it for a project and I need it very soon.I use MP4 video files at 60fps.
View 10 Replies View RelatedIt occurs only in Corel Video Studio Pro X3 ... two extra (frozen) frames for free. In other programs all frames of my camera act correct.
At the beginning of each video file there are two extra frames at the timeline, so each video file starts with three identical frames and that causes each file starts with 0,12 sec frozen video.
When I remove the two frames, two frozen frames are added at the end if a file! In the end-product there are three frozen frames between each cut! And 0,12 seconds is visible …
After reviewing some of my rendered videos, I find out that most (if not all) of them lose or add a few frames during the rendering. This seems to happen within the first 30 seconds of my 3 minutes clips. My orginal MPEG2 files are OK, but not the rendered MPEG, after editing. To make sure of that, I review them in my Pro X4, I place the original on my main track, and I put the rendered MPEG on the overlay. I can then pin point the exact frame where that problem appears. My original file is of good quality and has been captured wih a hard disk camcorder (Sony SR100).
View 14 Replies View RelatedTrying to take a chunk of frames out of the middle of a clip. The manual says:
"The Navigation Panel is used to preview and edit the clips used in your project. Use the Navigation Controls to move around a selected clip or your project. Use the Trim Markers and Scrubber to edit your clips."
I have done that. Trim Markers set to start and end of frames to be removed. So what is next? Where is the magic button that removes the unwanted frames? Have tried Delete but nothing apparently changes.
While I am at it, how do the scissors work? Can click on them at the start of a series of frames but they become greyed out after that.
Have done a lot of stuff in Windows Movie Maker, which was much more straightforward, but unfortunately it can't cope with HD. VSX3 manual is good at giving you various different ways of selecting frames for deletion, but seems to miss out on the punch line: "now do this to delete them".
I place a live music video clip in the timeline. I add the audio clip from a Zoom H2 to the timeline. I sync it up at the beginning matching the audio from the video clip. When I check it 25 minutes into the project the sync is no longer exact. If I slide the audio clip up two frames it is synced at the 25 minute mark but now it's not exact in the beginning. I need to use both sources of audio.
View 5 Replies View RelatedFrame animation plays fine when played from timeline but all layers are exported stacked on top of each other for the duration of the whole animation. I'm able to see that because the layers have transparency.
About animation - 8 frames with in endless loop, imported into a timeline via 'Make Frames from Layers' command in a fly-out menu in the Timeliine window. Tweens for animation are off, 01.sec delay for all frames
I was able to export animated GIF before, wondering if this issue is tied to the latest update.

making a GIF with PP. I'm working on a really simple one, I have a background, and I have an object that I want to move into the frame, then back out of the frame. Then loop.
Do I really have to combine the moving object with the back ground EVERY single frame?
Is there a way to say take this object over this many frames and move it from here to there?
Is there a way to save the position of the object in each frame without combining it to the background each time? I'd like to set it, go to the next frame, move it, go to the next frame, move it, repeat.
Current System: i3 3.07ghz, 3gb ram, Windows 7 32 bit with all updates and X6
I'm seeing random occurrences of single all-red frames in my output. They seem to occur in the middle of a clip.
My clips are AVCHD (HDV captures from a Sony HDR-FX7 via Firewire using HDVSplit). I'm outputting them to "HDV 720p - 30p (for PC)". Total edited projects are 9-10 minutes each and I'm seeing 2-3 of these "red frames" per output file.
I'd like to know if it's possible, and if so, how to do it..... in X5, to insert multiple images into their own single frames, at one time. Say I have images 1.jpg - 250.jpg, and I want all to be loaded into single frames... for an animation.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Ulead VS 11. When I make a clip and render it as new video, the new video is repeating frames all over the place. As it renders I can see it happening. It's like the video renders minute/second 1:01, then jumps back to 1:00, then re-renders 1:01. All over the place. These repeat frames are not in the original video.
The format of the original video is MPEG2, 8000 bps, and is being converted to WMV (don't ask!). I have found that the only way to retain any semblance of quality in the new video is to change it to WMV, and for my purposes, this is adequate. I have tried about 10 of the different output formats offered in the "Create Video" option, including saving with settings the same as project settings, and the result is the same, with the exception that the WMV 720 is the only one where a decent quality is maintained. That's a whole other question -- why rendering with "same as project settings" gives me total junk.
Is there some other setting that could be causing these frame repeats? I don't believe I had these problems when the original video was WMV rendering to WMV. But MPEG2 to MPEG2 is not fixing it either, so there must be something else.
I have a very unusual problem and I can't work it out. I have 1920x1080 clips in AVCHD format taken from my Full HD Digital movie Camera. It's a cheapy - Kogan! When I place all the clips together in Studio Pro 4 and render the video outpout or even preview in the clip window I get the frames splitting above and below the frame. The clips play fine in all players and as you can see in the second attachment is the Pro preview player compared to Media classic which renders the clip correctly.
You can see the top and bottom of the frame is duplicated on every transition or start of next clip
I have taken a short video of a man sitting at a table. There is no movement but the man is talking. A little bit of the microphone can be seen. I tried to take the video into Paintshop Pro X3 to remove this object with smart carver. Is there a way to edit this video so that unwanted objects can be removed from the frames. I have Paintshop Pro X3 on this computer, and PhotoImpact on another computer. Can either of these programs be used to remove objects from frames.?

I made lots of gifs a year ago, the problem is now I want to edit them, but in order to do so I will have to degrade quality futher as I will have to work directly on these gifs.
I want to prevent this from happening in the future, is there any convenient way to save frames that will compose the gif as well as the text elements in a consistent format that will ensure the quality?
I already tried to save into a PSD file, unfortunately it appaears that the frames are not included into the PSD file, they stay in the original folder.
My method is Open > Image sequence > I do what I have to do > Save as...
I want to build a mine-tunnel for a mine-cart game. So I thought of creating three tunnelframes for the motion. I attached those three different wall elements I've got:
decke 1, decke 2, decke 3
I tried a couple of times to align them, but the result is just not right. I can't get them in the same shape (frame1, frame2, frame3).
I can't really get three frames done so that it looks like you're moving forward in a mine-tunnel. Is my approach just wrong? how I could get three frames done in psd?
I need the frame of the image below as a stroke style (or at least I prefer that above having to copy-paste the elements of the sides 100 times along a frame in my design )
The thing is: it contains gradients. How do I get the frame to a stroke style so I can easily use it in Illustrator?
I have a number of video files captured at 1080X720 full frame resolution at 29.97 frames/second, shown on my PC as .MOV files.
When watching the original files either on my PC or TV, movement is fluid and smooth.
When watching a finished video created via VideoStudio Pro X4 using the aforementioned files, movement is jerky, and is particularly noticeable when watching a panned scene. The effect is so bad that it makes viewing on a large screen impossible as the picture movement jerks/judders about. I have looked at the project preferences, and notice under Project Option>General tab, the only available frame sizes are the standard ones which only go up to 720X576. The radio button to select a user defined frame size is greyed out and cannot be selected to input my own frame sizes. I’m therefore unable to actually input the frame size of the source video files.
Basically how do I render a finished video without jerky movement?
can Corel VS Pro X5 (or X6) convert video clip frames to images ( .bmp, .tif, ...)? Also can convert images to video clip frames?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI've generated my steel frame model using a skeletal model technique. So my part file consists of only sketch lines representing where I want my steel to be placed. I've created an assembly and used that in my inventor.dwg file.
The problem is that I need to dimension to the sketch file and not to the model shapes because the sketch lines define the center of gravity. These lines aren't visible even though I've right-clicked on the content and selected "Get Model Sketches". How I can get my skeletal model through to the DWG environment?
I down loaded a movie from a COOLPIX AW100 camera to PRO X4, it is a *.mov file, in AVC, MPG4, 29.97 frames/sec format.
When I ran it, it appeared to be jumpy, so I when went frame by frame, I noticed there were duplicate frames at the points were the hesitation occurred.
I have no problems with my FZ100 clips in H246/MPG4 .
A strange thing happens when I view it in WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, it has NO duplicate frames, and appears smooth.
I have used earlier versions of VS in the past with virtually no issues , last version wbeing VS11 Plus. I recently "Upgraded" to VS Pro X2 and am trying to burn my first project with it. During the share stage, trying to make a DVD I get the message "Some chapter entry frame numbers exceed the total frames" and NO I did not edit the project after adding the chapters in the share stage. Seems from google searches that this is an old issue for which Ulead issued a patch in earlier versions, but it is back! One post suggested creating a video file of the whole project then importing that without creating a new project then sharing it and adding chapters.
I tried that and found that the audio for the second half of the project got dropped. If you press Info on the DVD player it displays Dolby 3/2 on the TV screen, but the AVamp shows no Blue Dolby multichannel light and detects no audio streams available. This dropping of audio occurs at a transition between two clips in the original project. The "missing" audio is present in the mpeg file created, and you can hear it if you play the file in the "Edit" tab. It simply does not get carried over to the disc burn. I tried twice. ANyway, that is a secondary issue and I'm not too bothered about that. I would much rather get a fix for the Chapter frame numbers issue and thus avoid the video file creation process.
I have tried taking a few frames out of each clip and re-rendering the whole project again to no avail. I have also tried deselecting two pass conversion.
This is regarding a error message by Video Studio Pro X5 understanding a fault message which I got after creating a DVD map. This is the original message in Dutch: "Sommige startframenummers van hoofdstukken zijn groter dan het aantal frames". 533:-2147216477:0 Translation: "Some start frame numbers of chapters are greater than the number of frames"
This was also discussed here - but I can not understand the solution: viewtopic.php?t=24055&p=120629
The situation: I have all the same video files (H.264, 24 bits, 25.000 f/s) [worked with this kind of files a couple times and worked alway very well] I have added some tekst and pictures. Total length of video is 01:50 hour. Starting the procedure DVD creating, with burning the DVD folders on my harddisc. Afther the burning proces I got the fault message.
After creating the DVD map I got the fault message (as describbed above) and found on my harddisc the VIDEO_TS folder with 5 files VTS_01_1 till VTS_01_5. The total time of these loose files is ca. 76 minutes. So I missed a hughe chunk. I got the same fault message when I have created chapters within the videofile but also when I created chapters later at the video menu.
When I do not burning a DVD folder but select creating a video file (DVD-video) than I get separated end files instead of just one big file. Maybe this has the same cause?
Is there a way to make a 2d only project in autocad?
Right now i have to FLATTEN my project every time i want to do any action (like offset for example), because my Z plane values are different.
Is there a way to make a rule that Z plane is 0 always, no matter what happens?
Is there a way to eliminate 3d functions at all, so the project will be 2d?
Moved Videostudio X4 from a Win 7 machine to a new Win 8 PC.
Again it seems, audio plays fine when playing a clip from the preview window but not when playing on the timeline. (I had a similar problem with X10 and reported it in an older thread.)
Am searching now for more patches (and yes, I'm aware X6 is now the current version) but nothing obvious at the moment. Have found the SP 1/2/3 downloads on Corel's pages, but as it already upgraded to SP3 just after install, I'm guessing SP 1 and 2 are already covered..
In the past I've used a Panasonic SDR-S7 video camera which produces MPEG files with no problem.
I now have a Panasonic Lumix still camera which also takes AVCHD video. The individual files play perfectly in VS12, but as soon as I try to play the project to preview it, the picture keeps freezing. I thought this could be due to the new video's being HD but I don't think the individual files could be played either.
I have been doing this project in X5 and was putting a still picture at the end. When I review the project it stops about a second or so from the end. I thought it was the song, so I took that out.
I changed the picture, did the same thing. I lengthen the time on the picture, it will place and stop about the same time from the end. Doesn't matter how long the picture is playing. If I take the picture out, the video just before it plays fine. I put a picture back in, and it does the same thing? I thought the project time may be set someplace? Doesn't seem to matter because I change the timing on the picture at the end. Stops the same place?
Certainly couldn't open an X3 in X4. If I wanted to edit/burn my X4 in the "faster" X5, why should I essentially start from scratch to take advantage of X5?
Project would be SAVED as an X5 project file, of course.
