VideoStudio :: No Input On 10.0?
Dec 15, 2012I have just tried the Videostudio 10.0 on Win 7. Everything is connected for to record from VHS, but I get no signal no matter how I tweak the settings.

VideoStudio :: How To Use Recorded DVD As Input
Sep 6, 2012I have a DVD that was made from transferring a VHS PAL tape to a DVD. I can't see how to input the contents into VSProX4.
I downloaded Wondershare and that was easy to use to create an input file and I used VSProX4 to edit the file and make a 2 minute clip which I put on Youtube. The problem is with that the Watermark "Wondershare" is shown on the clip. I assume I need to spend $50 to buy a copy of Wondershare to not have the Watermark.
I tried a download of Handbrake. That created M4V files but it doesn't seem as though those files are compatible with VSProX4.
It would seem to me a basic requirement for a Video Editor to pull in a video from an existing DVD. I didn't think I would need to look for a program to RIP the DVD. What am I overlooking??
On the DVD there are 7 files. 2 *.BUP files, 2 *.IFO files and 3 *.VOB files. With either of the two programs I used above to RIP the DVD I think I saw 17 or 19 chapters.

Jan 10, 2012I have been trying to change my audio input when capturing and i cannot seem to find a way to do this. I am using a logitech usb microphone or a plantronics one, however i cannot change it. It has it checked and grayed out, why isn't this an option?

Aug 2, 2012I must record some ultrasound machine output for some research I am doing. I discovered that your software would allow me to specify s-video as the source and so I was successful in capturing that output as well as the sound that went with it.
However, there are three vexing little problems that would make the program far easier to handle for this purpose:
1. Many actions in the program cause it to reset the source to the default internal camera instead of staying with my s-video selection. Is there a way to set the s-video as the default source?
2. When we begin the capture, Ulead displays an overlay every time telling us that the video quality is substandard and would we like to continue. Give the noisy signal that every ultrasound machine produces, this question comes up every time and has to be answered yes or no. Can the program be set to not show that overlay and cost us time?
3. After we answer the question posed by that overlay, if the machine doesn't "hear" any input, it defaults to an error within 1 second. So, before we answer the overlay question that we wish to continue, we have to have the person with the microphone talk continuously or the program will cancel the capture automatically. Again, is there a way around this time-consuming action?
VideoStudio :: Unable To Capture Analog Video Input
Feb 4, 2012In capture mode, choosing "capture video"I get error message "failed to initialize the video capture plug-in another program may be using it or this file has been moved" " open driver failed" 152.00.43.0 15023.4.2 my video capture device is a USB WDM 2860 and shows in the "source" window but no "format" can be chosen and no video comes through. The operating system is windows 7 64 bit. I have "Magix movie edit pro 17" and "Cyberlink Video Director" and both of these programs work with the same device and capture. Neither one of these applications are running while using Video Studio. I checked and nothing else is utilizing this USB WDM 2860 device. I reinstalled the software, installed the patches, and uninstalled the USB drivers and reinstalled them.

Feb 4, 2013My need is to create up to 50 points from the same origin in a three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system but I’d also like to have a labels for each point that show up in the feature tree.
Are there Inventor 2013 plugin (i.e., add-on, 3rd party, AP) to convert a list 3D Cartesian coordinate system locations (i.e., points) to Inventor to work points(x, y, z)?
I found that I cannot create 3D points in the assembly. Is this correct? I did find that an Inventor part may be used to create a 3D sketch that creates points in 3D space. In the past few days, I found two ways to create 3D points within a iPRT; the batch way uses an Excel file but it then does not allow me to name the points in the feature tree. The second way is to create them one at a time but that take way too much time.Â

Mar 15, 2013I am UNABLE to follow a tutorial on how to make a repeatable pattern using 'texture transfer' on some fire I want to make into a pattern!!! every time I select the area I want to use and the 'input map' and paste as new image and I tell Resynthesizer to use that image it ALWAYS errors out as "The Input Map Should Be The Same Size As The Input Texture Image" according to the tutorial another person gave me on this forum he said NOTHING about being the same size!!! in fact, his selection was SMALLER than the actual image that he was using Resynthesizer on!!!

Apr 11, 2009I'm getting input lag (about 1-2 seconds) after about an hour of work. Specificly anything I do to a document (pan, brush, clone, move etc). If I restart photoshop, it goes away, but comes back after an hour or so. How do I fix this? I'm running winxp, ive tried turning my anti virus off. I've turned the gpu stuff on and off. History states are at 100 and 6 cache levels. This is a quad core with 2 gigs of ram.

Jun 17, 2012In CS5.5 and previous, when text was selected/highlighted you could just click in the font size box and type in the size you wanted. This appears to be gone in CS6.If the text layer is selected you can but if you double click the type to go in and edit it, i can't input and manual font size value.... i can only choose from the default options.This is very hard to work around if you have specific sizes your fonts need to be & if there is more than one size i the same layer.how to get rid of the annoying placeboard/brandground that is in CS6. I'd like to get it back to how it was i.e no backgroud.

The capture is a bit laggy so both brushes look a little delayed, in reality the CS6 cursor paints exaclty where you'd expect it to, the CC one is offset and it feels very unnatural. It's most evident on the first 2 strokes.Some system info, if it's of use:

Photoshop :: Creative Input For A Logo
Sep 6, 2012I've been handed the task of creating a new logo for my Committee at my University. We're in charge of setting up parties and various events for our semester.
Only problem is that we've been lacking a proper logo for the last year, that we've existed, and as I'm the only one with Photoshop skills in the committee, it was decided that i should create it. Problem is though - I've hit rock bottom.
Our Committee's name is " Ninkasi ". This is the best that I've come up with, but I don't like it at all! It doesn't represent our objectives as a committee for parties and events at all, IMO.
The monkey picture is essential, as it is what represents us - but how to make a cool logo out of it though?

The only option I've found like this in PS is the "Smoothing" checkbox in the brush propeties box, but it has very little affect and can not be manupulated. Is there anything like this available in Photoshop, or as a plugin for Photoshop?

Dec 1, 2012basically I have a Genius MaxFire G-12U Vibration joypad controller, I wanted to map to certain actions and plug-in calls, but unfortunately this appears at the status of the device in "Configure Input Device" menu:

When the actions have been mapped to the different buttons, and after GIMP has been reset, the actions do not happen after pressing the associated buttons.
GIMP website did not show an entry for such menu.

The pen input is not pressure sensitive. All I see is a box that is titled Dynamics and displays Pressure Opacity. It's in Normal mode.

GIMP :: Select Input Device
Nov 21, 2013I recently bought a graphics tablet. Sometimes it works perfectly, and sometimes it doesn't do pressure sensitivity. I've narrowed it down to a single thing. This window here:
When it works, the Stylus is selected, when it doesn't work, the Core Pointer is selected.
So how can I switch the currently selected one? Clicking doesn't work, there's no button in the configure input device dialog.
Things I've tried:
- Plugging in the tablet before starting gimp
- Plugging in the tablet after starting gimp
- Rebooting (this seems to work, for the first time I open gimp after a reboot)
No matter what I do, it seems mostly random as to which is selected.

I am using the program in Classic View rather than Ribbon view. I've been unable to log into the subscription help center due to the organisation I work for not being on subscription.

May 1, 2012I want to be able to see angles in Dynamic Input with the base line set where I need it to be.
In the red is where AC puts the baseline in the DYN command.
Is there a way for me to "tilt" the baseline so i can use it in ANY angle, like in the blue?
