After upgraded to Mac OSX 10.9 (Mavericks), I can't using Chinese (Cangjie & Sucheng) input in AI Creative Cloud, however English and Japanese input are working.
I have tried it in Photoshop CC and Indesign CC, they are no problem at all.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI need the LT 2005 (with LISP tool box) to run some automation LISP file, which required to input some Japanese remarks in the drawing.
However, the "Japanese remarks" becomes garbled text whenever i enter it in the command lines.
I cleared the temp/cache on my Windows 7 64 bit that has been running CorelDraw Suite 6 since its release. Never an issue. Now, after installing the latest upgrade the program Coreldraw loads just fine and it opened my most current file. After changing a letter in the text box the program crashes. You get a popup window that Coreldraw has closed. I rebooted my machine and it does this each time the program is reloaded.
I went through the common causes of Coreldraw issues and nothing is left to remove or change. Clearly the latest upgrade is flawed and instead of fixing performance issues it has created one that stops the program from working.
I upgraded another computer and the same issue appears after the upgrade. I did a system recovery and now Coreldraw will not open .cdr files into Coreldraw. It now shows a filter error and no file will open.
I am having a problem getting a font to show up in Illustrator (and every Adobe app) but it appears just fine in Word. The font is located here: [URL] (HDZB_10.zip), here is a direct link to it from that page: [URL]

But when I open the PDF in Illustrator with Simplified Chinese open, some of the characters change. My client in the past has had success outlining the chinese before she sends. But it is no longer working for some reason. How can I match what I see on the PDF without having to convert it to a rastered image.?

Anytime I use it, it converts to this font and each time I need to change a font weight, I must do it manually. As you can imagine, I use our company font all day so this slows me down quite a bit. Have you heard of this? It seems like some sort of font virus. I've researched removing it, yet can't seem to find the original font file to get rid of, which is even weirder."
We tried moving the font family to the trash, emptying the trash, rebooting the machine, and re-adding the font family and it still is happening.
My need is to create up to 50 points from the same origin in a three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system but I’d also like to have a labels for each point that show up in the feature tree.
Are there Inventor 2013 plugin (i.e., add-on, 3rd party, AP) to convert a list 3D Cartesian coordinate system locations (i.e., points) to Inventor to work points(x, y, z)?
I found that I cannot create 3D points in the assembly. Is this correct? I did find that an Inventor part may be used to create a 3D sketch that creates points in 3D space. In the past few days, I found two ways to create 3D points within a iPRT; the batch way uses an Excel file but it then does not allow me to name the points in the feature tree. The second way is to create them one at a time but that take way too much time.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am UNABLE to follow a tutorial on how to make a repeatable pattern using 'texture transfer' on some fire I want to make into a pattern!!! every time I select the area I want to use and the 'input map' and paste as new image and I tell Resynthesizer to use that image it ALWAYS errors out as "The Input Map Should Be The Same Size As The Input Texture Image" according to the tutorial another person gave me on this forum he said NOTHING about being the same size!!! in fact, his selection was SMALLER than the actual image that he was using Resynthesizer on!!!

I could fire up a calculator and convert each of the (nonobvious) hex values into decimal, but I imagine there is an easy way to change the Illustrator settings for the document to use hex values. Is there? If so where do I set it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSince a few versions (I have Illustrator CC), my cursor in Illustrator input fields flashes extremely fast when i drag the cursor over such field. This could be a regular text input field or anything similar where you can type in something or adjust a value by clicking and dragging.
What happens is that the cursor changes to the Illustrator cursor and then back to the Windows arrow cursor in an extremely fast manner. It happens so fast, that it completely slows down the mouse interaction and the cursor movement lags behind my interaction.
I have Win 7 x64 with the newest display drivers. This problem occurs only in Illustrator and Flash.
Illustrator CS6. Is there a script that inputs in a text field the width and height of an object. I do proofs and for a printing company and we always have to write the size of the artwork for the customer to approve. It's easy to do, but when you do 100's a week, it gets old and annoying. I do scale the image down to be visible on 11x8.5. I would think if there is a way to input the size of artwork, there would have to be a way to write the script so it can multiply the scaled down artwork for proofs to the actual W and H of the object. If the art is 13"W x 20"H and I put it on the proof at 10%, I want the script to input in a text field the 13"W x 20"H.

In Illustrator CS4, I could select a path, click into the stroke weight selector on the Control Bar, and be presented with 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and then 1 - 40. From the keyboard I could use the up/down arrows to move among each of these options. I found this handy because 0.5px and 0.25px are the line weights I most often use.
Ever since I upgraded to Illustrator CS5, the sub- 1px options in this selector have disappeared.
I've edited the default graphic style, to no avail. And yes, I have unchecked everything I know of with regard to "snap to pixel grid". I doubt that would be the problem anyway, because I am able to type "0.25px" and get a 0.25px weighted line. Which is what I have been doing ever since the upgrade. But I am annoyed at having to do it this way and the thousands of microscopic frustrations over the months have gradually accumulated into an ulcer and a disturbing addiction to prescription dandruff shampoos.
Did Adobe remove this from CS5 for the hell of it, or am I missing something obvious?
I recently upgraded my Mac OS to 10.7.5 from 10.7.4. I also upgraded Java from SE6 to 7. Now my cs4 design suite will not open. I click on the Illustrator alias but nothing happens. I get the Rainbow Pinwheel that spins for 2 seconds and then stops. This also happens when I try using Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver. I've also tried opening using the .app file in the applications folder, but the same thing happens.
A side note: I tried to revert back to Java 6 with no luck. and I do not have a back up of my OS to revert back to 10.7.4. Everything was working great prior to the upgrades.
I just did the latest CC upgrade and my Illustrator keeps crashing. I use Astute graphics, so figured it may have to do with the plug-ins, but after Iremoved them from the plug-ins folder the issue persists.

When I try to install some new chinese fonts, and try it on the photoshop, all the words will become "another word".

I'm using an international English version (I think) of Adobe Photoshop CS6, and I'm making a catalog that has Chinese type in it. I've encountered a problem with the paragraphing in that new lines often begin with periods or commas, and lines sometimes end with open brackets.
Is there a way to set line break rules for Chinese fonts? I'm using an OpenType font (Adobe Heiti), but I can't find the options to change the line break rules.
