View 10 Replies View RelatedJust installed 2014 and have a few issues right away. I checked out the New Features webpage and attempted to change the Viewport Layout using the new Menu dropdown. When I click on any other layout other than the default the whole UI begins to flicker and Max completely locks up and I have to end the process to close it.
Now when I load Max I get an error box that says: "Invalid flyout button ID!" After clicking OK on 6 identical successive Error boxes they are all gone and Max is OK.
I uninstalled my display drivers and installed the latest Max Performance driver 311.50 for my Quadro 4000.
Update: I removed a custom toolbar that I created thinking it might be throwing the error and then relaunched Max. Same error. Then I reinstalled Max using the Repair/Reinstall feature instead of completely uninstalling and reinstalling. When I open Max I still get the "Invalid flyout..." error. FYI, upon my initial install and first opening of Max it opened normally. It was only after I had the switching workspace event that this error stated. The Reinstall feature did not solve it.

Whenever I switch renders layers I get the following error

Error: Invalid use of Maya object "persp"..it will happen for every camera in the scene until I close and re-open the scene! I do not know what causes it but it seems like whenever I delete a render layer it starts happening and it is driving me positively bonkers!
In the middle of a photoshop session the application spontaneously quit (when changing colour palette). This is a totally legal copy of CS2, recently successfully transferred to a new-ish Mac running Snow Leopard. When I tried to restart P'shop it came up with an error message "Your Adobe Photoshop user name, organisation, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit."Subsequent attempts to launch p'shop came up with a supposedly humorous "Space Monkey" splash screen.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been designing for 3 days. A very important design but power cut in the apartment. I tried to recover the file. I've failed.
Should I save a picture? I look on the picture and can draw. I using Adobe Photoshop CS5.
I am getting a Error with this
Autodesk.AutoCAD.ApplicationServices.Application.SetSystemVariable("DIMSCALE", 12.0);
I am getting a "eInvalidInput" error.
"Unknown value "AC1027" encountered in drawing version.Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded. Press Enter to continue." (then the file disappears)
MY workflow:I am opening up DXF files created by me with RASPLOT 2.5 and RASPLOT 3.0 (an Army Corp of Engineers Hyrdraulic model extraction program) I bring the DXFs into AutoCAD for better cleanup of the 2D graph it creates of flood profiles.
OBSERVATIONS:Others in my office have opened the same engineering models in RASPLOT and been able to bring DXFs into AutoCAD 2011/2012 in with no problem. It had worked for me in the past, but I can't recall what happened to all of a sudden make it not work, EVER. My co-workers can work with the RASPLOT DXFs in Windows XP and Windows 7.
ATTEMPTED SOLUTIONS:-I upgraded my RASPLOT version first from 2.5 to 3.0, then upgraded my AutoCAD2011 to 2012. No change.
-If I create the DXF on my computer, then open it remotely from another computer's AutoCAD, I still get the same error message. (My only solution has been to create my DXF by remotely logging into another computer with RASPLOT then it will open in my computer's AutoCAD.)
- I tried changing the .dxf file path to .dwg but that doesn't work.
I received the drawings with comments from consultant. The cad drawings are infected with stamps.I was ordered to use such drawing to update the routing of the services. When I use DXFOUT to change it to the DXF version 2000.I can't open it the dxf drawing.the error like below when i tried to open the dxf:
Undefined shape 4
Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.
Press ENTER to continue.
what can i do now?
I must have this item working.
No I don't have Google Chrome or the anti-virus programs mentioned I have Kaspersky Pure
Just got Visual Studio Pro X4. My first experience with VS. A friend gave me a number of projects she had been working on with an earlier version. When I try to open a project (.VSP file) I get an error.
File is already open.
This happens with every project I try to open.
Using VB2010 Express to practice writing code to run things in Inventor 2012. I am an extreme beginner at this, and I am trying out a simple program that opens up Inventor, and when you click a button, it will open up the filename listed in the subroutine. I have attached a .jpg of my code. The program will open Inventor, and open the file, but as soon as the file is finished loading and displays on the screen, it throws the error you see in the .jpg.

I have a baseplan I was sent for senior design project and it was previously created in an earlier version of autocad. However Im not sure which version it was created in. There are almost 3000 points and contours but I can not use these points to create a surface. I am ultimately trying to create a surface and then a profile for a road to design vertical curves throughout.
I cut out a few points and copied them into a new drawing due to the size of the actual file
I have a new PC (quad-core i5) which is running with Win7. After discovering that VS10 is not supported (no audio) I thought is was time to try a new VS version. So I uninstalled VS10 and downloaded the trial of VS Pro X6. When I try to open any of my old VSP files the message 'File is already in use' is displayed with a reference number [15055:1:1].

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am editing video clips in 60p mode, and trying to add a voice-over in a wav file (mono, 48kHz) I received the attached error message.

I'm currently getting the "1324 Error. The folder path 'My Documents' contains an invalid character."
when trying to run AutoCad 2010. It had been working fine previously, but now it gives this error and won't allow me to use it. I am also unable to uninstall or reinstall the program without getting the same error.
I have confirmed that the profile is not set to roaming. I have also tried deleting the registry entries as recomended here:

I just installed VS X5 and tried to import a video from my GoPro Hero3 Black. Two Videos will work but all the others will not. I keep getting "file format mismatch" error.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been editing with no problems for a while now but every time I try to share/create a video file it fails every time at 95%. I'm assuming it must be something specific for it to fail every time at the same point and i've tried it in multiple formats but always with the same result
I have included a screenshot.
I'm trying to import a AVI file (its not DV) into VS but it comes up with the error message "xxx file is inaccessible" followed by the message "This file cannot be added to the project due to unknown file format or not enough memory or copyright".
I tried to play it in Windows Media Player but it came up with an error message about missing the required Codec. I installed the required codec (using MediaInfo advice) and Windows Media player can now play the file but VS still can't import it. The video stream of the AVI file is MPEG-4 (DivX 5). I would have thought that once I installed the correct codec for the Windows Media Player that VS should work with that file format?
I have an mpg file which I am trying to burn to disc using VS4 but when it gets to 99% of the conversion it sticks and I get an unspecified error message and I cannot burn the file.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI got in on the big sale that NewBlue was having and I purchased the Film Effects pack (finally!). Everything is installed and registered.
There are actually 5 individual effects that you get with the Film Effects, they are:
Film Camera
Film Damage
Film Express
Film Look
Film Pro
I can successfully add each of these to a clip in my timeline and then modify the attributes, except one.
The Film Look plugin give me the error:
Corel Video Studio Pro
Invalid parameter
[15032:1:18]
It is a Corel error dialog, not a NewBlue error dialog. Only the Film Look plugin give me the error, the other 4 work just fine.
I have fully purchased and legally registered Corel Video Studio Pro and NewBlue Film Effects running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
The error says as follows:
The program has encountered an unspecified error and has stopped functioning. Please contact Corel Technical Support and send the dump file for analysis.
C:UsersChrisAppDataLocalTempvstudio_1.6.2.69_20120208_185709.DMP
I get it on closing the Video Studio Pro 14.1.0.107.(S.Pac 2) I initialy got it when trying Corel's trial download so went and bought the Package, retail, thinking (foolishly) that that would solve the problem. I have spent hours on line with Corel Tech who said it was a conflict with jscript.dll in Explorer 9. I reverted back to Explorer 8 but no luck. It makes no difference whether V.S has files active or not so it is not a function of source files.
As youcan see on my profile - Windows 7, Home premium; 3.2 Gig Intel Core2 Duo; 3518 MB RAM; 500 Gig HD; 1024 MB NVidia GT 440 Video card.
I am getting a File Format Mismatch error when I try to import .jpg , .png or .bmp files into Video Studio 5x. and 6x (trial version). If I try using the file menu (Insert media file to time linephoto), I get an error dialog that tells me I can't insert the file because of a few different reasons.
If I try using the Import Media Files folder icon, I get a File Format Mismatch Error. I can open these files with MS Paint as well as Paint Shop Pro so there is no issue with the files themselves. Also, if I just drag and drop the files from File Explore to the StoryBoard frame, I don't get any errors and I can render my video. Since I have two copies, I installed one on my vista machine and I don't get that error. I can import .avi movie and .mpg files with no error.
I also installed Service Pack 1 for Video Studio 5x. I am running Win7 64 bit home premium SP1.
