Apr 18, 2012my file is avi. and it can't be imported to Ulead Video Studio 10 (Free trial). when I tried to import the video, he said my file is not accessible.

VideoStudio :: AVI File Not Accessible?
Aug 20, 2011I'm trying to load an avi video ... which was created from an online webinar I did (the online room uses a program called - Conference Recording Service) - which creates an avi file.
I try to bring it into VSPro 4 but it tells me - "xxx file is inaccessible" followed by the message "This file cannot be added to the project due to unknown file format or not enough memory or copyright".
I can play this file in Windows Media Player ...I thought VS works with avi files?

Feb 11, 2011On the spur of the moment I bought a cheap little Medion [Aldi] HD digital camera which offers five options for recording - 720P60, 1080P, OVGA, WVGA and HD. They all produce .AVI files which play OK on my laptop but when loaded into VSX3 I get the message ‘file not accessible’. The rudimentary ArcSoft program provided with the camera [and now on my laptop] handles the files OK.

Jun 1, 2011Just got Visual Studio Pro X4. My first experience with VS. A friend gave me a number of projects she had been working on with an earlier version. When I try to open a project (.VSP file) I get an error.
File is already open.
This happens with every project I try to open.

Mar 31, 2013I have a new PC (quad-core i5) which is running with Win7. After discovering that VS10 is not supported (no audio) I thought is was time to try a new VS version. So I uninstalled VS10 and downloaded the trial of VS Pro X6. When I try to open any of my old VSP files the message 'File is already in use' is displayed with a reference number [15055:1:1].

Jun 14, 2011I'm trying to import a AVI file (its not DV) into VS but it comes up with the error message "xxx file is inaccessible" followed by the message "This file cannot be added to the project due to unknown file format or not enough memory or copyright".
I tried to play it in Windows Media Player but it came up with an error message about missing the required Codec. I installed the required codec (using MediaInfo advice) and Windows Media player can now play the file but VS still can't import it. The video stream of the AVI file is MPEG-4 (DivX 5). I would have thought that once I installed the correct codec for the Windows Media Player that VS should work with that file format?

Dec 6, 2011I get it on closing the Video Studio Pro 14.1.0.107.(S.Pac 2) I initialy got it when trying Corel's trial download so went and bought the Package, retail, thinking (foolishly) that that would solve the problem. I have spent hours on line with Corel Tech who said it was a conflict with jscript.dll in Explorer 9. I reverted back to Explorer 8 but no luck. It makes no difference whether V.S has files active or not so it is not a function of source files.
As youcan see on my profile - Windows 7, Home premium; 3.2 Gig Intel Core2 Duo; 3518 MB RAM; 500 Gig HD; 1024 MB NVidia GT 440 Video card.

Mar 17, 2013I am getting a File Format Mismatch error when I try to import .jpg , .png or .bmp files into Video Studio 5x. and 6x (trial version).If I try using the file menu (Insert media file to time linephoto), I get an error dialog that tells me I can't insert the file because of a few different reasons.
If I try using the Import Media Files folder icon, I get a File Format Mismatch Error. I can open these files with MS Paint as well as Paint Shop Pro so there is no issue with the files themselves. Also, if I just drag and drop the files from File Explore to the StoryBoard frame, I don't get any errors and I can render my video. Since I have two copies, I installed one on my vista machine and I don't get that error. I can import .avi movie and .mpg files with no error.
I also installed Service Pack 1 for Video Studio 5x. I am running Win7 64 bit home premium SP1.

Sep 2, 2012I've recently updated one of my PC's. I tried to launch VS x5 and I received a "corrupt file message" with error code 38. I've read all of the previous threads here and others online referring to Protexis Licensing V2 in the Services tab. I've un-installed, reinstalled several times. Would be nice is a "Repair" option was available. I've entered the serial numbers, several times, made it to the "Register Product" page but can never get the program to start. This was an update from VS 4 and I've entered the serial number for that when prompted. I have the program working just fine on another completely new system. Both are running Windows 7.

Today I went back into LR to continue working on the remaining images and the folder I imported them into is not visible.When I search using a filename and Find under Library in LR, I'm told that no Photos match.Trying to re-import the images results in a message that the photos are already in LR!

Dec 12, 2012Getting a lot of message pop ups about not accessible dst file. In conjunction with this is constant slow down if the sheetset is open with the blue cursor wheel constantly thinking. If the sheet set is closed, this immediately fixes this.
Ruled out network problems as 2012 works fine. I believe this to be isloated to 2013.

Apr 15, 2014Having a strange issue with a 6TB OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual. I can't get the drive to work in Media Browser in Mavericks OS-X. It shows up in Finder and if I click on "Local Drives" in Media Browser it is there but I cannot access it. I've tried connecting it via Thunderbolt and USB3 and no luck either way. Oddly enough, it works fine via USB3 on my PC. I've tried it on a MacBook Pro and a 2013 MacPro and it's a bust on both. I'm running the latest versions of Mavericks and Premiere Pro CC. What might be tripping up Media Browser or if there's a way I should reformat the drive. Currently it is Raid 0, Mac OS Extended (Journaled)).

These symbols have pretty basic functionality, and that works inside the symbol.
So dropping the layout symbols directly on the stage, the functionality works fine.
But calling the layout symbols through the adaptive container, it no longer works.
I've even converted the adaptive container into a symbol, to call that symbols first.

May 7, 2007I'm trying to create a digital layout in PSCS version 8.0, and when I go to save the psd file (very early stages of the creation...its not very large yet) I get an error that says "Unable to save (file name) because of a disc error". I've never seen this before and am trying not to panic, but I'm on a deadline! LOL And am running behind as usual!
I am using an older mac, and I'm pretty dang maxed out on Gb...gotta clean up some files, but having a hard time finding a free dup file finder for macs...so I'm procrastinating, basically. Could the fact that I've got very little Gb available left have something to do with this?
AutoCAD Inventor :: Adding Material Library Accessible In Simulate Mechanical
Jun 6, 2013How I can add materials to the Inventor material library. I have created and defined the material in Autodesk Simulate Mechanical and they are available in the material libraries in that program, but inaccessible in Inventor. It doubles my work load if i need to define the materials in both programs and also creates hassles if a change needs to be made to a single material.
The materials are currently saved in .mlb library files. Iventor requests a .asklib file for when trying to add a library.
