I recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements 9 to Lightroom 5, When I moved the catalogue over, all keywords transferred, and Albums became collections. When I used Photshop Elements, I could easily sync the Albums with my Apple Tvs to display the pictures, as well as my other Apple Devices. I can not figure out how to export the collections to the Apple devices, especially the Apple TVs. There must be a way given the power of this software.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've made an animation in photoshop CS 5.1 with three layers that I want to export to Apple's application Motion in order to work on each layer individually. I can easily make a quicktime file, but I can't work on each layer this way. When I import the photoshop file I get the prompt "All Layers," which I choose, but there is no movement when I hit play on the timeline. Only one frame is displayed when there are a number of different frames, and animations.
I'm using an IMac with 8 gigs of ram and 3 external hard drives with a terabyte internal drive.
How to stream HD videos to Apple TV 3?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Video Studio V12.0.98.0 (Pro X2)
I can successfully output an .mpg file for a Windows 7 laptop attached to a LG BX324 Projector [URL]
I use Share | Create Video File | HDV | HDV 1080i 50i for HDV option to achieve this.
I would like to output a movie suitable for an Apple Computer, in frame height 1080 x 1440, as this presentation is for a lecture theatre.
Currently, I do not have access to this Apple computer. I am trying to play a movie generated by Video Studio on my Win 7 PC using my Windows QuickTime Player 7.7.1.
May I ask, is this the way I can test if I can successfully generate a movie suitable for an Apple computer using my Win7 PC?
I've been stumbling around with the share options, but all I seem to be generating is movies of a small size e.g 576 x 720.
Which Share settings should I be using for movie of 1080 x 1440?
When I export a Web JPG from GIMP and it offers me a sliding Quality barthat goes 0 - 100. I want to know if that's an equivalent to the similar JPG quality setting in Photoshop? The reason I'm asking is that my research on Photoshop indicated that JPG output quality settings above 75 were"theoretical." In other words, there might be measurable improvements inJPG quality past 75, but they will be imperceptible by the human eye. If the Quality settings are basically the same in both pieces of software?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Xara Graphics and Photo Designer 6. I've mainly used it for web graphics but now I am doing some print work with it.
I want to set up the page so that it is 300 dpi. Then design the graphic and then export it.
However I am confused on how to do this.
It appears the way Xara is set up you design the graphic and then during export you tell it how many DPI you want it.
The problem is if I select 300 dpi during export, the resulting export is much too big.
I am sure I am doing something wrong. It seems to me there must be a way to set up the page before creating the graphic to 300 dpi (or whatever dpi you plan to export it in... right?)
How to export below snapshot setting through idExportJPG type since could not find color model, format, and resolution settings in javascript export options.
View 3 Replies View Relatedhow can I set the default setting to 4x3? It seems to want to go to 16x9. figured out how to do it in VS3.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI export many web graphics at the same size so with x6. I thought I would love the presets with x6 however when I set the preset to export like at 700px width it changes and re-sizes the exported graphic to 350px width. It show 700px on the screen when I load the preset however right when I click export or if I place me cursor in the transformation box it changes. I even tried to change it too 1400px hoping it would then change it to 700px but it still changes it to 350px.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems trying to set the video resolution on both of my copies of VS Pro X4. The captures I'm using are 16x9, and when I select a thumbnail and play it, the clip first displays as 4x3 in the preview window, then when it starts playing, it goes to 16x9, but when I put the clip in the video track, it displays and plays in 4x3... even after I change the Project Properties to 16x9, it still does the same thing.
I have recently taken some of the same files and created a 16x9 optimized MPEG in the share menu, but for some reason, I'm unable to do it again. I have had problems with my capture device, and haven't used VS Pro X4 for a while, but now I have a new methodology, and am back to working with video, again. Some of the things I did before, are now forgotten... I'm sure the answer is somewhere on this site, but so far, all of my searches and reading have only offered the things I have already done, and so far as I can tell, that doesn't work. At this point, I can't remember if the editing I did before, was displayed in 4x3 or 16x9, but the DVDs I have burned are definitely in 16x9, but the last one was definitely 4x3.
How to setup the burning speed for DVD using the Videostudio x4??? My setup menu for adjusting the speed recording wont highlight.. I've try to reinstall the software many times, but i wont get it done.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI can only upload 15 minute videos on Video studio x5. I cant find anywhere on the internet on how to change my login settings so I can upload past the 15 mark. I am verified from youtube to upload longer videos. Im getting sick of waisting my time saving it as a WMV and then going to youtube to upload it that way. My upload speed is slow enough already
So, How do you change youtube settings on Corel Videostudio Pro x5?
Picture wise,How can I not get this error when uploading to youtube?
i saved a bunch of videos with this setting at the normal 29.97fps. now they are saving at 20fps per the properties in the create video file dialogue box.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have just installed trial of VideoStudio Pro X4 and have owned the X2 version for some time already. Although I can always save a video file in HD format (1920x1180) I think it's best if the 'Project Settings' are already at this resolution. I was always able to set project resolution in version X2 but seems I can't in the new version X4. I think it's because I can only set the 'media type' to DVD in version X4. see attached picture. Is this because I only have trial version or is there less functionality in the new version?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a JVC Everio GZ-HM320BU HD video camera. I'm using Corel VideoStudio Pro X4.
Each year, I record our X-Mas present opening but I didn't realize that HD files get extremely large (new camera two years ago). I make DVD movies for all the kids every year, but I can't remember the process I did for 2010.
What steps do I need to do to take an existing AVCHD MTS file, (time 1:14:11, 2.44 GB, frame width 1920, frame height 1080) and change it to fit on a DVD?
If I need to change it to a non-HD format, I have no problem with that. I just forgot how I did it before.
how do I edit the default project settings? - basically - every project starts at 16x9 - and i want it to default to 4x3
View 7 Replies View RelatedEventually I can get it to work but sometimes only after many (10-20) tries. Very frustrating since it is possible - just not reliable.
When I am in Capture (Visual Studio SE DVD ver 10) and go to Options - Video and Audio Capture Settings and try and select S Video (default is Composite), it seems to take but after clicking OK and the Change Field Order window pops up and does its thing, it frequently will not 'take'. I repeat numerous times until it does take so it is possible.
Any configuration file that holds the default settings for this so I can set S Video as the default instead of Composite. Then (I assume) the problem wouldn't matter.
I've created a 23-minute video I want to burn to DVD in VS Pro 5...
At the point where I select BURN in the burning process, I get hit with a message telling me that my working folder path "may not have enough space" to allowing burning. The message advises me to change the working folder path in Preferences to enable burning. The message notes the working folder path as C:Users[My initials]DocumentsCorel Video Studio Pro15.0...
That path does exist on Drive C (where there's only around 5 Gig of space left), but when I go into Preferences to change the working folder, Preferences shows it having a path on Drive F (where there's 1.47 Terrabytes of space!)
So, how can I change the working folder path to Drive F from Drive C, when the project Preferences show the working folder path to be on Drive F, the the program itself claims the path to be on Drive C (and a search shows such a path)?
I'm running under Windows 7 Home Premium.
I am not yet an owner for VideoStudio. This program is on my short list of software I wish to use for screen capture (creating a series of tutorials for an online classroom) and I have to be able to produce these items in a minimum of 720P 16x9 format (Ideally would like to grab at 1080P but 720 is my absolute minimum requirement). Can VideoStudio do this for me? Do I need a specific capture/video card to be able to acquire at a 720P resolution?
I have a background in broadcast television in my day job, (I edit on Quantel and Apple FCP) and what I like about this software is that it's an "all in one" solution.
PS. running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit, 8GB RAM, NVidia GeForce9600GT card
Elsewhere in the forum I have a topic about sound echo, and a fix was to render a clip using the same project properties it was recorded with, at least regarding audio.
When I load X5, without a project or clip in the timeline - the project preference audio format is LPCM even tho the camcorder I use records dolby audio. I can open and edit the project preferences to change LPCM to dolby, and I can also check settings/enable 5.1 surround sound which does the same thing, but that setting won't survive an X5 program close. One would think that editing the properties like that and selecting OK at the end, the changes would have been saved and become the default. But when I next open X5, the project audio is again set LPCM.
As part of investigating the echo issue I uninstalled and re-installed X5 without any impact on the audio issues, which includes this one.
How can I set the project settings for audio so that the default is dolby and it lasts thru a close and the next X5 open?
I recently had to reinstall Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 because of some missing/damaged files (long story). Anyway, I downloaded Title Pack 6 so I had some more, well, titles. Afterwards, when I tried to use the new titles, after moving them to the timeline and double clicking to edit the text the problem starts...
1) There is no text box to edit text or the text box is REALLY tiny (so tiny I cant resize it) and tucked away in the top-left corner of the preview box.
2) The font defaults to a ridiculously high setting (~150-200).
3) When I try to type something in, nothing happens.
4) When I click off the text box I get an error message saying "Font Apply Error!".
I'm trying to use the Video Studio X4 MPEG Optimizer. My problem is the Optimal project settings is grayed out. How do I get that option to work on my project. I am going through this book "Picture Yourself Making Creative Movies with Corel VideoStudio Pro X4". In Chapter 13 under Using the Mpeg Optimizer the instructions say to use that option. The project has been built in previous chapters as an ongoing project.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been using Photoshop for about six years and CS3 since it came out, on a 2Gb RAM Dell PC with a Pentium4 3.00GHz. I use a Canon 1Ds mark III so the file sizes are quite large and I have noticed that my PC is slowing down now.
I am considering an Apple iMac with a 24" screen but hear negative comments such as differentiation of shadows and highlights is difficult to judge on the glossy screen, reflections on the glossy screen, and the difficulty of upgrading in a couple of years time as it slows and programmes become more RAM and processor greedy.
The other option for the same money is a Chillblast Fusion Photo which with 1 Ter of hard drive in three ports, 8Gbs RAM and a 24 " DELL HD screen is a formidable combination with future adaptability available.
On the other hand I get fed up with the quirks of a PC system with Microsoft operating system that we are all familiar with, which seems to be avoided with the Apple system. I suppose I could use the new computer with nothing on it other than Photoshop and keep this prsent computer for Windows and Internet use?
Best practices for setting up systems in a lab environment. We have a lab enviroment of about 200 systems that access AutoCad, Inventor, Mechanical and others.
We need to have a customized interface come up when Autocad is opened by students.I have read that you can do this with profiles and workspaces and also with loading a acad.lsp file.
In the past we have just copied the Windows admin profile used to customize AutoCad to the default profile. In AutoCad 2013 that does not seem to grab everything. It doesn't seem to be the best way to do what we need.
We will also be moving to Windows 7 soon which will also cause an issue.I want to find the best way to do this with out having to deal with the Windows profile.
My apple-space bar combo for zooming in quickly on a fixed point just doesn't work in CS6 which is more irritating than I would have thought possible. Any simple way of fixing it and/or are Adobe likely to reinstate it with any updates?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI exported a sample video to several pre-defined formats. The best format (quality), which I can play on my Kathrein UFS 922 ist the MP4 - HD Profile (1920x1080, 25fps, 15000kbs...). Now I wanted to start a batch conversation for some videos, but I can't get the parameters like in the MP4 - HD Profile. Resolution (only up to 720x576), Bitrate (only up to 9000) and others are not set able to these settings.
What can be wrong, what can I do? (Why are the pre defined output profiles not available for batch conversion?)
