VideoStudio :: Error Message That Shuts Down The Program
Dec 29, 2010
I thought i was getting this message when i enabled ripple select all but now i am randomly getting this message anytime i am using VS. I use VIDEOSTUDIO PRO X3 and i believe i have updated the necessary updates for it . After i get this message, it shuts down VS and i have to restart the program.
I just shot a wedding and need to be editing ASAP. I turned on PhotoShop CS2 and after loading it gives me the error message saying somehting to the effect of "Your username, login, organization, or serial key is missing or invalid. Photoshop must shut down". My copy is registered, and I have the loging info and serial , but I cannot do anything at all in the program. It doesn't give an option to re-enter my info. It just shuts itself down.
When ever I try to modify a hatch from a previous version I get a fatal error message and the program shuts down. I have opened the same files in 2012 and have no problem changing the hatch patterns.
I installed a new drive (OWC Accelsior SSD) via PCIe in my 2009 MacPro then loaded 10.9 on the new drive. While I have regret about 10.9 due to the Colorflow bug, I had already done the upgrade on the old drive and stayed with 10.9
I then ran Migration Assistant to copy everything to the new drive. In addition, I ran Verify Disk on both the old and new drives via the Disk Utility and all was OK.After the migration, CS6 13.0.0 will not allow me to open a file from any internal or external drive. When I select File, Open the error message states, "Could not complete your request because of a program error".
When I select File, Open 2-3 times, I am able to open a file but only from the Desktop. After trying 10 File, Opens, from the Desktop with sucess, I tried selecting an external drive and immediatly get the program error message againI tried selecting internal sata drives, an external Raid 5 connected via eSata and a drive connected via USB3 but all produced the same error message.
So I installed CC. Unfortunately the same exact problem occurs.I noticed when I was installing CC that there was an update to CS6 13.0.0. But when I tried to update via the iCloud installer and also the download from the Adobe site ,the update failed with this message, "Errors encountered during installation (U44M1P7) I have found an inconvenient workaround that might offer a clue in that I am able to open any file from any drive if I drag it over the icon in the dock. That works for both CS6 and CC.
Installed Elements 10 today. When browsing for a destination folder for very first project a "Serious Error" message box is displayed and program forced to shut down. What is this and how do I fix??
As it did not working well in Win7, I have been uninstalling VS Pro X2. So, I purchased the downloadable upgrade version of VideoStudio Pro X3. The problem : I'm not able to open an existing VSP file. I get this error message : The file "name.vsp" is already in use.
I've been a Corel Video Studio user for almost 10 years and never ran into this issue. When creating a disc (DVD or Blu Ray), I get an error message while the program is "converting the menues" for burning to blank disc. The message reads "convert step got some problems (257.0.0)". Figuring that something got corrupted, I closed the program and rebooted the computer. I then again set up the menues I wanted to use only to get the same error message. I then decided to burn a previous project that I knew to be successful and it burned properly. I then decided to create a new project using the same video files and menus that previously failed. That too proved to be unsuccessful. I went to Corel's website but there was no info available covering my error message.
When I go to import a clip into videostudio, I get this message: "no storage to save BB" I click ok, then I get the "load from stream error" message.
Here is my info:Windows XP, videostudio 12, Dell Dimension E520. I'm importing an uncompressed AVI (I've done this loads of times with not problems) and I get the message while it's importing.
I was using VideoStudio 4 for about a year, then upgraded to 5 Ultimate last week. Was in the middle of a project when I upgraded, and decided to burn a DVD last night.
DVD burner is in use for another program error (or something like that)
I've never had this error in my life, and I've been using the same laptop for about 3 years, with 2 or 3 versions of VideoStudio.
Should I just uninstall 5? Or can I "restore" my computer back to two weeks ago?
The file I was working on, I also saved as a VideoStudio 4 file in case 5 doesn't work.
I didn't uninstall 4 before loading 5. I tried to uninstall 4 last night, but it didn't uninstall all the way. Maybe if I reload 4, then uninstall it?
I can't think of any programs that use the burner that I use on that machine either.
I really need to make a DVD by saturday--it's my fiancee's bridal shower. The one I tried to make last night was to test it and make sure it worked on my future sister-in-law's TV before the shower. But that didn't happen unfortunately.
I've recently updated one of my PC's. I tried to launch VS x5 and I received a "corrupt file message" with error code 38. I've read all of the previous threads here and others online referring to Protexis Licensing V2 in the Services tab. I've un-installed, reinstalled several times. Would be nice is a "Repair" option was available. I've entered the serial numbers, several times, made it to the "Register Product" page but can never get the program to start. This was an update from VS 4 and I've entered the serial number for that when prompted. I have the program working just fine on another completely new system. Both are running Windows 7.
I'm trying to upload a video into YouTube straight from my Video Studio ProX3. Was able to do it successfully with a video just 2 days ago but for some reason, doing a different video (same videocam & format) it's giving me this error message "The entity name must immediately follow the ',&' in the entity reference". And it won't upload or let me proceed. I have no clue what this means, i tried redoing it and changing the video file name and no luck.
Just installed ProX4. When I make a title - either single or multiple - and try to apply a Border/Shadow/Transparency to the text, I get an error message that says . . .
"Encountered An Improper Argument"
Making the title was the ONLY thing in the project.
I bought the VideoStudio x5 yesterday. When i try to open the program, a message appears:
The program has encountered an unspecified error and has stopped functioning. Please contact Corel Technical Support and send the dump file for analysis
I have Windows 7, Photoshop Elements 9. It was working finw for years, and suddenly when I click the text Tool the program shuts down. I even re-intall the program and the problem persist.
I completed a video and when I went to 'Create a Video File' I would receive the following error message...
"Failed to open MPEG encoder"
I'm using Ulead VideoStudio 11+. The 'vsp' file is too long...One hour fourteen minutes. I made a 'Part 1' and cut the vsp to forty-five minutes and still received the same error message.
I cut the 'vsp' to one minute thirty seconds and it would "Create a Video File'. I've never had this problem before.
It seems with Ulead VideoStudio 11+ whenever I have a problem like this I can resolve it, by backing up all the files, then removing the program, thoroughly clean the hard drive and re-install 11+.
For some inexplicable reason, the 'Smartsounds' tracks I load into the time line do not RENDER. That is, the 'share' button creates the suitable video file without the music! Their is a message, "Load from Stream Error" which comes up after the rendering process.
Error message showing on Video Studio Pro X2 - when go into edit, pop up message dispays 'Load From Stream Error' which then doesn't allow me to anything further.
I get it on closing the Video Studio Pro 14.1.0.107.(S.Pac 2) I initialy got it when trying Corel's trial download so went and bought the Package, retail, thinking (foolishly) that that would solve the problem. I have spent hours on line with Corel Tech who said it was a conflict with jscript.dll in Explorer 9. I reverted back to Explorer 8 but no luck. It makes no difference whether V.S has files active or not so it is not a function of source files.
As youcan see on my profile - Windows 7, Home premium; 3.2 Gig Intel Core2 Duo; 3518 MB RAM; 500 Gig HD; 1024 MB NVidia GT 440 Video card.
I'm having a hard time creating MP4 HD files. It's always gone well, but recently it seems that I get to around 99% rendering, and then it crashes. I get the message "The program has encountered an unspecified error and has stopped functioning"
I'm running an older dual core intel T2080 CPU with Vista, nothing fancy. It seems to happen with videos that are around an hour and a half. If I keep my videos to around an hour it will complete the rendering process. I am able to see the final 8GB file that was created, but it won't play as the rendering wasn't 100% finished with the longer video. This whole thing happens on different PC's so it's not my program installation.
I have reinstalled this program 3 times arlready and the Auto Music feature still does not work? Every time i make a project and want to add some music off the Auto Music feature the whole program crashes instantly? I keep getting over and over again, Unspecified Error? Everything thing else works in the program except the Auto Music.
In trying to produce out an .mp4 file (H.264, 5000 data rate, 30fps frame-based, 1280x720) at some point in the file creation, usually around 70%, the screen goes black, I have no keyboard or mouse response and the only sign of life is the blue light on the CPU. The only way out is a hard shutdown and reboot. Needless to say nothing gets produced out.
