So I just saved my project and closed it. It created a .001 version of the file but there is no non 00X file. Is there a way to recover my work or did Autodesk just waist yet anouther hour of my life.

We can schedule out all the information with no issues, however when we export to ifc we can only find the “Test” information. Are we missing a setting in the export or have we create the project parameter up incorrectly.
I have CS3, when I do save as, only about six options are avialable (tif, pdf, and a few others). Jpegs, Gifs, etc are all gone. Is there some setting I've inadvertantly chosen or reason I can't save as jpeg?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using Illustrator CS4 at work and am rather new to it, so I'm feeling my way along. I'm modifying and working with a file created by someone else. I'm trying to save a document of multiple objects to JPG, using Save to Web & Devices. There's a white rectangle in the document that I can't seem to include in the saved file. Other objects are included without problem, both clipping to the artboard and saving the whole document. I've tried grouping the rectangle with similar adjacent objects, and also tried "locking" them. I even tried creating a new rectangle over top of the existing one. No matter what I try, it just won't grab that rectangle along with the rest of the objects. It doesn't seem to be in a separate layer.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using 2014 Revit and have some problem with the exported AutoCAD layers from Revit.
My project has 3 levels and I exported the floor plans from Revit. Ground level and third level have all the elements like shown Revit, but the second floor plan doesn't show certain catagory items like columns. I already tried to create new level for the second floor plan, but the exported result is the same. I am not sure if there is any setting to control the layer visibility when it is being exported.
I am trying to create a sidewalk area that has a 45 degree 8'x8' hatch pattern in the model. It shows up in 3D but not 2D. What is the problem? It needs to show up in my plans. I have the same problem getting floors to show surface patterns too. Using Revit 2011. A friend gets it to work on his computer with the same version.

I have the student version of AutoCAD 2012 on an HP laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium OS. I originally installed AutoCAD in June of 2012. It worked fine for 9 or 10 months but now whenever I select File/Open, File/Save, or File/Save As, AutoCAD stops responding and the spinning blue donut appears. AutoCAD never comes back and I have to close it from Task Manager. I uninstalled AutoCAD and reinstalled it, and the process went smoothly. However I still have exactly the same problem with the File operations. I apply Windows updates, but other than that have not made any changes to the software on the laptop. AutoCAD works fine for everything except the File operations. I am able to save with CTL/S and am able to open AutoCAD files from File Manager.
View 3 Replies View RelatedURL....I am using PSE 12 as a photo editor for Aperture 3.5.1 and the photo is duplicated (as a tiff) in Aperture and PSE editor opens with the image. When I close the file and say to save the file it brings up the save as window.
I tell PSE 12 to "on first save -- save over current file" it now brings up the "save as" window and won't save over the file (changes the file type from .tiff to .tif)
I have Photoshop CS6 and Elements Premiere 11 and both were showing estimated file sizes properly up until a couple of weeks ago, and both stopped at the same time. Using Image, Mode I have verified on both that the images I am trying to save are 8 bit and not 16 bit images. I am on Window 7, 64bit.

However, if I saved to Multi-picture Format, I would get the familiar .jpg and everything worked fine for a while. This morning I cannot find a file format in "save as" that results in the .jpg file extension.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded from VideoStudio 12 to Pro X4, and have noticed that I don't have all of the Video Save Options (specifically Media type and Audio format) that I have with 12.
I produce video for playback by a regional local access provider, and their requirements are mpeg-2 video with mpeg layer 2 audio. Both of these are options that are available in 12 but not X4. I understand that NTSC DVD video is mpeg-2, but I'm still at a loss with the audio format.

The only settings I get in "Save for Web / Devices" are "Unnamed" and "-----".
Where would these preferences have disappeared to? I don't recall ever seeing the standard options ever since installing the CS3 Master Collection. ImageReady and Photoshop CS3 usually have a few JPG, GIF and PNG options.
Could I download the original settings file somewhere, without reinstalling anything?
In AutoCad 2006, when I want to open a new or existing drawing or template, instead of regular dialog box I receive only a prompter dialog which is present in the command line also, asking me for the name of the drawing that I want to open; it is the case also when I want to save a drawing too. I already checked the "Options" under the "Open and Save" tab and everything looks to be in order. How can I resolve this bothering problem since I am able to perform the above tasks only accessing "Windows explorer"?

I selected the template created the family, but in mean time i can't understand the wall is having delete option.(i.e it is released from host). I opened it and everything seems to be working expect when I draw anything (ie topo surface, wall, etc.), the modify tab is missing all the draw options (line, circle, etc) as well as the Finish and Cancel buttons. This makes it impossible for me to use the software without those. Is there a way they could be hidden or is the software just corrupt?
