Premiere Pro :: MPEG2 Low Quality Render In CC But Not CS6

Dec 12, 2013

Any MPEG2 i render in Premiere Pro CC exports in low quality (Grainy and flickers). Even at 1080p and a CBR of 20. I thought i'd wait for the next update for premiere pro CC which came out today with no luck.

Premiere Pro :: Export Settings For MPEG2 For VOD Content Cable Provider?

Jan 12, 2014

it is possible to render to mpeg 2 with specific settings for VOD content cable provider in Premiere Pro?

Is there a specific preset for it? Or do you really need an external plugin (like the very expensive QT plugin from PIXELtools?

For a cable provider I need to make SD content.Encoded some MPG 2 TS test files and uploaded them to the test-environment of the Cable provider.

The calbel provider said the files are almost approved, they need a little more tweaking.

But the cable provider only gives me a list of errors in return. Errors they see in in the testing environment before publishing.

1. Rendered MPG's have PCR errors (deviation in clock frequention)

2. to get better quality encoded MPG's, they say to stretch the GOP.

Since I'm not in to GOP's, M frames and I-pictures.They gave me a white paper with the following rules....

1.     The first byte of the video elementary stream MUST be the first byte of a sequence_start_code.

2.     The video elementary stream MUST contain an integral number of access units.

3.     A Sequence Header and a Sequence Extension MUST precede each I-Picture.

4.     All B-Pictures in the video bit stream MUST use prediction based on pictures present in the bit stream. Specifically, the first GOP in the video elementary stream MUST NOT begin with a B-Picture predicted from a reference picture that does not exist in the stream. That is, the first GOP MUST be closed.

5.     For MPEG2 encoding, the length of each GOP SHOULD be 12 frames.

6.     For MPEG2 encoding, the number of consecutive B-Pictures between anchor pictures (I-Picture or P-Picture) MUST be two or less.

Photoshop :: How To Render Video Without Losing Quality

Jun 7, 2012

I'm trying to use the export>render video feature in Photoshop CS5 extended. I must use avi without any compression, keeping the original frame rate (the original file is also an uncompressed avi). My impression was that this setting keeps the original video quality.

However, the exported video loses quite a bit of its original quality. Is it possible to keep the original quality?

Revit :: Stainless Steel Render Quality

May 29, 2012

how to adjust the settings of different objects I want to have a standard brushed stainless steel material so that the material renders accurately. It always seems to look so distorted. I feel like most of the materials in Revit are this way too. Floors look overly glossy and "fake". I am not looking for photo realism, but it seems like there must be a solution based on image galleries I've seen online. Are there any tips out there for what settings to use to get materials with reflective to render more accurately?

Premiere Pro :: Render In And Out Not Using GPU

I found that render effects will utilize GPU and fans are working. Normally a few minutes will complete the work.

However, when I render in and out, it takes one to two hours and fans don't work as fast as when render effects, which means that render in and out is not using GPU I suppose.

Premiere Pro :: Adding Frames In Render?

Jan 28, 2014

Edited my footage in a sequence in normal size.

I wanted to make it widescreen, so I made a new sequence in 1920x810.

I then copy pasted my edit into the new sequence and started rendering.

The render window kept adding frames to render, and the percentage jumps and very slowly adds 0.1% into the progress.

I tried choosing a smaller amount to render, same problem still persists.

Why does it now want to render normally? Why does it add frames to render all the time?

It analyzes the clips without problem, however it seems to get stuck on the "Stabilizing" phase. It just sits there. As I try to playback the clip in the timeline, it simply shows up as black video in the viewer. The space above the clip on the time line is yellow. I've done a full uninstall and no luck. I don't have any other problems in Premiere Pro CC 7.1 right now.

2) Exporting Media quality is very poor and pixelated. I am just importing a video into a sequence and exporting about 10 seconds at a time with different export settings: H.264/Match Source, Quicktime, H.264-Blu ray with different presets. And I'm checking "USe max render quality". Every time it renders very pixelated.

Premiere Pro :: Quality Not The Same After Exporting Movie Made Up Of JPG Images

Feb 6, 2014

Basically I made an animation sequence on Autodesk Maya and rendered the sequence as 2000 jpeg images each representing 1 frame, put it in one folder and on Adobe Premiere imported and dragged the folder into the timeline to make a moving image so in other words my video is made up of hundreds of jpg images.

Now on the editor it all looks HD and fine but when I export it via file > export > media, in order to match the sequence to the screen I must click on 'match sequence settings' which will snap the whole movie into the window rather than have it widescreen and once I do this I can't modify anything else such as codec, etc (codec is automatically set as MPEG -Frame and the output automatically is mpeg), is this normal? Why is it mpeg ajnd not avi...

So once I export the video with these settings (image uploaded) the quality is ok but not as good as what I see in the Premeire editor, why? What can I do to improve the quality?

On the other hand if I don't click on match to sequence settings and personally customise the paramaters such as avi, I use max settings for many things but after exporting my picture quality actually goes worse compared tomatch to sequence settings? (which has less parameters)

Why is this happening, all my jpeg images are high quality 720p and I should just be able to export it as normal...

I am trying to make a cut-scene to get into Unity so the codec is important as well.

How can I make my video best quality as possible being mpeg or avi? What settings do I need to play with?

Premiere Pro :: Crazy Green Square Artifacts Showing On Render?

Mar 2, 2014

it included some bad language, but that can be censored. It's nice to know Adobe only cares about their image rather than solving their users' issues with the software that they bought. No wonder people are switching sides to Avid or Apple. But that's hardly suprising in this marketing world.

Ok so basically I've been working on a project similar to all the other projects in the last months. Nothing fancy: a simple green screen keying, some added titles and a bit of Colour Correcting and audio EQ.

Everything looks fine in the project: both reference and monitor ouputs looks pefectly fine. Until the actual render is reviewed and then the **** hits the fan! I've added screenshots below. Using latest version of Premiere on OSX, only using native plugins and exporting as H.264 MP4 optimised for Vimeo streaming.

Premiere Pro :: Slow Render Times With Large JPEGs - Complete System Lag?

Jan 8, 2014

In a project i'm working on I have two large jpegs with a small zoom scaling effect. Going from 100 to 103 percent.

I've noticed that both Adobe Media Encoder and Premiere Pro experience a heavy slow down in render time as soon as the jpegs have to be rendered. Not only does the render speed almost come to a halt, the complete system lags very heavy, even the mouse cursor won't respond well.

This happens when i have GPU acceleration enabled and when i do a 2 pass H264 encoding. When I have the GPU acceleration disabled the render goes very smooth, and doesn't seem to slow down...

The jpeg is 4023  x 2677, and 6,97 MB large.

Scaling the jpeg down to about 1920x1080 in Photoshop and put that one in the timeline made the render go a lot faster.

I understand that a large picture takes a bit more time to be rendered, but we're talking about a 10minute render whit the large jpeg file and  a 2 minute render with the jpeg resized. The total time of the two jpegs in the video is 5 seconds in a 3 minutes video. So, that made me think that the render times are exponentially long.

Is this considered normal, I can't remember having such big differences in CS5.

My system:

 Premiere Pro CC (latest)
i7 4930K
32 GB RAM
2xGTX480Footage and project on a Raid0 disk
Previews/Cache on a Raid0 diskSystem and Premiere on SSD
Render to a single 7200 rpm drive.
