I am doing a bit of graphcis work in photoshop etc and am thinking about getting a wireless mouse as I find the mouse cord a bit heavy, restrictive and annoying to my wrist etc.
Have any of you got any comments as to whether I would find a wireless mouse easier to move around on Photoshop - are they as accurate etc ?
I've recently installed a microsoft wireless mouse. I'm having issues because the middle wheel doesn't pan when pressed down. I've searched the discussion forums at the Autodesk (both Lt & full ACAD) site, and can see this has been discussed previously, but the accepted remedy of control panel/mouse settings and ensuring that the mouse wheel is set to "middle click" is listed (and selected), but doesn't have any effect. I have MBUTTONPAN set to 1. I'm not sure what else needs to be done to get the middle button to pan.
A wireless drawing tablet where I can have adobe cs5 remotely show up on the tablet? Something handheld for when I want to work on the sofa of an evening. I really don't need a whole tablet computer, just a drawing tablet that shows the computer screen.
I just installed Photoshop Elements 12, and went into Organizer and tried to scan in some photos, and I get the message that it cannot detect my scanner. I have a Canon MX712 Scanner, setup wirelessly and have not problems scanning from other programs.Â
I am converting from a R14 and a digitizer to ACA2009 and a Mouse.I am not thrilled with the way the mouse interacts with the screen, accuracy, lag time? I am using a wireless optical mouse and keyboard. What is the preferred pointing device for AutoCAD?
Further more I am a slab and have no room on my desk for a mouse cord,What is the preferred wireless pointing device?
how to turn off the mouse function when the mouse cursor moves over a feature, such as an edge, point, or surface, and highlights it. I don't want it highlighting the features automatically. I want it to highlight once I click over a feature. My colleagues and I are very distraught by this feature, and will be discontinuing our use of your products that do not allow us to turn this feature off. I'm not sure why you'd want to weed your customer base like this, assuming that I can't turn this option off from the research I've done pouring through the hundreds of complaints related to this issue. I haven't been able to find any posts recently, or regarding Inventor 2013 specificially on this issue, so I was hoping this version had the option of turning it off. Does any of Autodesk's software, such as AutoCAD, have the option of turning it off?
I followed the tutorial on this page: [URL]. However, my animation auto plays and mousing over has no effect. I have searched and sreached to no understandable (to me) avail. Here's a link to the file: [URL]
I decided to do the Creative Cloud thing. Installed Photoshop CC trial. Opened up a new document and tried to drag out a selection box ... and nothing. I can't drag my mouse. I can click on things. But dragging doesn't seem to work. Neither does right clicking. Â So for example, I can't move layers. I can select them in the layers panel, but I can't drag them in the workspace. Same with sliders. I can select a location on a slider, but I can't grab the handle and slide it around. I've tried resetting preferences, restarting, and disabling graphic card acceleration. Â I'm running Windows 7 x64. My mouse is a wireless Logitech that I haven't had any trouble with otherwise. I opened up paint and it can track me dragging my mouse around to paint (so it's not just a ****** mouse connection or anything).
I user Photoshop CS3 extended and for mouse I use the mouse that came with my Wacom Graphire board. This board came with a mouse as well as with a pen.
From time to time I cannot use the brush tool with the mouse but only with the pen.
I would like to know if there is a setting someplace or if this is a freak problem with device drivers or similar.
I recently noticed that when I am making small brush strokes or just cliking around with simple tools in CS4, that right after I'm done making the stroke, the busy symbol pops up for a second. Even if I don't really change any data and just click in photoshop, the busy symbol on my mouse will flash for just split second. I'm not sure if it's always been like that and I never noticed, or if it's a new thing. It's really annoying when I am making a whole bunch of tiny strokes on some photos, and it keeps poping up real quick even when the stress of of what I'm doing is comparibly nothing for the power of my computer. Does anyone else have this issue or know of ways to get rid of your mouse showing that busy signal so much?
whenever I left click a tool in the toolbar of 6.01 it gives me the options for the other tools...
Now it should only do this when I right click! It's rather annoying...and I have no idea how to change it back. I did a little snooping in the registry but found nothing.
I'm having a very strange issue with Photoshop CS5 (both 32-bit and 64-bit)  When I go to draw anything or move anything, the canvas does not respond to mouse events at all. Right clicking doesn't work, dragging edges of the free transform box doesn't work, even the top menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc) does not detect when I mouse over from one menu selection to another (e.g. moving the mouse from "File" to "Edit")
Noticed that photoshop CS6 on Creative Cloud at least seems to lag when I try to move a layer around or a selection around with my mouse after I have used my tablet. So what Im trying to say is that I can move selections around with my mouse or with my tablet and they move fine but when I do anything with my tablet and the go back to my mouse thats where I get the lagging movement. If I then at that point try to move the selection with my tablet it doest lag around. As I try different things with my mouse after I have used my tablet nothing else seems to lag just moving the selection with my mouse. Any others having this issue or know what may be the cause?
My mouse pointer in Photoshop CS3 has changed to three little finger 'ghosts'. I know this indicates I'm in some special 'mode' but I just want to go back to normal. Whatever tool I choose, the pointer becomes three little 'whatever' ghosts. What is this mode and how do I get out of if?
I currently updated the operating system for my Mac OSX, and I believe this is where the issues are stemming from. Â I've been working in CS5 using a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet along with the stylus pen. Recently when I am working in CS5 I've noticed that while using the brush tool the little "dot" tends to dissapear while painting. This also happens if I use a short cut ie. brush tool/command key/eyedropper. The only way for the "dot" to return is either to move the pen around the screen, clicking on things until it reappears OR using the magic mouse, but sometimes this doesn't work either. Â I am not very knowledgable in Mac or CS5, and I have tried resetting some of the controls, but nothing seems to be working.
I am on a Mac Pro with Magic Trackpad. Using Photoshop CS5, the cursor/pointer disappears after a while, and I have to switch to another application, then back to Photoshop to bring it back. The pointer does not disappear over the image window, just over the tool palettes, toolbar, menus, etc. This is a recent development, and I've only ever seen it in Mountain Lion. None of my previous systems exhibited this behavior.
CS2 / WindowsXP - Usually when I DESELECT an image (the marching ants) by keys CONTROL-D, or by right-clicking the drop down DESELECT, isn't there another way to DESELECT by...
... just r-clicking away from the image using the mouse to deselect the marching ants? I'm drawing a blank and I have tons of copy, pasting to do, and my right hand is getting very, very tired. I'm sure I used this function before, I just forgot how to enable this function. I have been to the EDIT> KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS and PREFERENCES, but nowhere can I find this.
Am I tripping, or is there a way to actually do this?
I'm a CS3 user, but just downloaded CS4 for trial. Unfortunately based on my experience so far it's unuseable. The problem is that Clone, Healing, Brush tools do not respond to my Wacom Mouse (I can move brushes around, but can not apply any corrections).
If I use the Wacom pen, it works fine. I've seen a few posting on the Internet from others with the same problem, but can't see any solutions identified. I have Vista Ultimate 64, Intuos Tablet/Pen/Mouse, 8GB Memory and latest tablet drivers.
I just got PS after using Paint Shop Pro for years, and since I'm so adjusted to the PSP tools, I'm wondering if there's a way to customize Photoshop to what I'm used to. At the moment, this means reversing the direction PS zooms when I scroll the mouse wheel, and also getting it to actually ZOOM whenever I do this, rather than scrolling. Is there something I can do to tweak these settings?
In PS CS4, my cursor position often "jumps around" in a very random way, the instant the mousebutton is pressed. For example, when using the brush tool, it will start drawing on a completely different place than the cursor was positionen when I wanted to start painting... The same thing for the lasso tool, etc... I use Vista home 32-bit, CS 4 with latest patches (as of 2009-04-14) and a standard cordless Microsoft mouse - nothing fancy. Mouse works in all other programs 100% of the time.
I right-click on a jpeg with my mouse in My Pictures (I'm a Windows user) for example, I only see the options Preview, Edit, Print and so on. I do not see 'Edit with Photoshop' there anymore.
I hope to have 'Edit with Photoshop' when I right-click.
I downloaded a webtemplate for Dreamweaver. They have some mouse over buttons that I would like to change. What font did they use? Could someone give some tips? I know Photoshop a bit if that is what is needed. (Guess I don't know PS that well if I can't do it.) I attached both buttons.
