AutoCad :: Stretch Actions Parameter Set To Stretch Parts Including Annotative Text

I have created a dynamic block. Herein I placed stretch actions parameter set to strecht parts including anotative text.
Now the block seems to work fine.
- When I am in modelspace and I change the annotation scale the text is changed correct
- When I am in modelspace and I change the stretch value of the dynamic block everything goes fine.
But when I am in modelspace and I change the stretch value in one of the annotiaton scales and then switch to another scale my text is changed annotativly (this is what I want) but the stretch value is set back to default (which should be at the changed value).

Oct 23, 2006I'm having problems with some of the things on photoshop stretching the page. Today, I was trying to add a splatter effect (filter > brush stroke > splatter), and when I went to the page, the window was too big, so I couldn't see the settings on the far right. I'm not sure if it's just my computer's screen size. Here's a screenshot if you're confused.

Jan 28, 2012Several times a week I need to take a PDF (single-page doc), then convertto a page-sized PNG with quality good enough to read the text (and atransparent border), and then convert to a SWF. I have a PNG-to-SWFutility, but when I used it on the PNG saved after I opened my PDF andexported from GIMP, the end result was not good enough. A co-worker saidGIMP couldn't make a PNG (w/transparency) with enough quality. He said we'dhave to use some other software. Part of the issue was not being able toresize without losing quality before the PNG export. True or false?

Mar 30, 2012If it's a bug, then I cannot believe it wasn't caught before the release. So here it is. I simply put artistic text down on page 1. Select the text and copy to clipboard. Add a new page and paste the text. On my computer, the text changes from artistic text (as copied to clipboard) to paragraph default text left justified across the center of the page. It doesn't matter how much text I select, it always pastes on the new page as paragraph text left justified and across the center of the page.
However, if I select artistic text and any other object, copy and paste to a new sheet, it works erectly. Apparently, I now have to select text and an object to insure that the paste feature works properly?
Lightroom :: 5 - Flow Text From Page To Page?
Aug 5, 2013A little + sign appears at the bottom right corner of a text cell when the text overflows. I find I cannot pick up the additional text by clicking the + sign to place it on the next text cell thus linking text from page to page. Am I missing something or is such a useful facility unavailable in Lightroom? If that's the case, is there a good reason for Lightroom not offering text linking between pages?

May 2, 2011My firm worked on a project recently with a sheet numbering system that created long sheet numbers, ie, MH-101-R1. Since the sheet numbers were so long, they no longer fit in our normal sheet/detail/drawing label blocks. (See attached DWG for an example.)
We are looking to create either a dynamic block or some kind of block that will automatically stretch with the text length.

Jun 28, 2013I have a complex object (a plot with a bunch of text labels, etc.), and I want to stretch it horizontally or vertically without distorting text. I have an option to scale or not to scale strokes,. However, whatever I select here, the text always ends up distorted.
Is there a way to stretch it so that the text retains it's original shape?

Apr 1, 2014I'm printing a document trying to get two out of each page. I imported text, formatted it within Indesign cs3 and not it's time to copy the block and paste it onto the right side of the page. But the pasted version had a .50 tab at the first word which does not exist on the original side. How do I fix this?

Suppose I have a simple psd file, which includes a text layer contains the word "Hello World".
Using ImageReady I can convert it into a web page.
I want the resulting web page has the word "Hello World" as a text. i.e, The mouse cursor turns into " I beam" In other word, the word "Hello world" will be available in the page's HTML Source.
I tried to find some thing about this in the manual, but I can not find any thing.
Making the slice type "No Image" is not an option, because I have seen PSD web templates with text turns into real text on optimization and slices which include the text is image type.

Jan 2, 2009I wanted to copy some text from open office into a new page in Photoshop cs3. I know you have to treat the text first, but how? I need to edit it in Photoshop.
I tried to use Acrobat and convert the text to a PDF, but the PDF couldn't be edited after I pasted it into a Photoshop page.
There's a way to do this in Illustrator, I think. but I couldn't find it. And maybe HTML would work.

Before long I was up to 100 pages, looking fantastic. But then the thought come to me, I have set may page colour to BLACK and all my drawing and text are WHITE as I said looks fantastic until you go to print a page. How much black Ink would you use printing 100 pages black.
SO MY QUESTION IS CAN COREL REVERSE THE LINE ART TO BLACK AND THE PAGE TO WHITE SO I CAN HAVE A PRINTABLE VERSION ?
I have tried publishing to PDF then in acrobat replacing document colours and on screen that works fine but when you print it still prints
With the black background and white text for some reason.

Sep 15, 2013From the File>New I take the A4 - 1 Column template and then add a side by side page and no page number appear on the right page.
If I then add text so that it overflows the pages 1 and 2 and creates two new ones the left hand one now has page 3 but still no page numbers on the right.
If add text to a single A4 1 Column and overflows it creates a second page with page number as expected, if I then convert it to side by side it has the page number on the right.
My question is why it works in the second method and not with the first, when setting up a new document it is the path one would expect to set the pages as you want first.
Is there any way of showing the text areas (frames) just not when you click in them? as one does to show grids.

Feb 7, 2013Have a document that has several artboards in it. (kinda like a multipage document). Each page is similar, but some of the text boxes has variations from page to page. So if I am zoomed in on page 1 to one text box and I select some text, using the type tool, and then hit SHIFT-page down (or page up) to go to the next page, it won't. Switch to a different tool, and it works.
WHY? Why can't I use a keyboard short cut to jump to another page while in the type tool mode? I don't want to take my hand off the keyboard or move the mouse.

I was excited about the book module's "Save as Custom Page" as a solution to preview book we have our lab produce but it seems that several settings are not saved. My intention is for the file name to be under each image but the "Photo Text" checkbox does not stay enabled. Nor, do the zoom settings for the images boxes.
Does "save as custom page" only remember paddding settings and ignore everything else?
InDesign :: Text Frames / TOC / Page Order
Mar 27, 2014I made this gorgeous table of contents with nice paragraph styles and a text frame on the master page. I put the text in the first frame and that filled my pages as intented. After that I used my paragraphs titles and the table of contents was done. But now I have a problem because I need to change the page order. I'm completely lost cause now my document is a mess. So is it possible to make a table of contents without using connected text frames because I know that I will have to change page order later and I want to avoid the mess I just made?

For each image, there is specific text that goes with the image (just a simple quote). If it's possible to use Gimp to add text to the side of an image and not actually on the image?

At the moment we have to select each text box and press 'make text dynamic', which can get tiresome with a lot of text boxes. If we select all the text boxes and do the same we get a lot of variables with the same name which gives an error.

InDesign :: Master Page With Editable Text Region
May 28, 2009I have created a new master with a header, footer and main content region. The main content needs to be editable for each page I add to the document but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it! Has this changed since the first Indesign CS?
So the header and footer will remain the same throughout the document - if I change that in the master it will then change throughout. The text region will also remain the same throughout but I should be able to add content to that region on each page I create in my document. At the moment I can't. It won't let me select that region I've created on any of the pages in my document.

I write the text out as normal (not using a text box) but when i copy and then try to past to another page it then does several other things.
It changes the font and cap height, puts it onto a text box and centres it on the page?
If i copy and paste text along with an object (say a simple box) everything copies and pastes perfectly, just not text on its own
