I have hand written initials. It looks to be something that was signed on copy paper and then the background was removed to get an alpha channel. These initials are a bit too thin to make an impact within the logo i am designing.
Â
How do i thicken the lines without a stroke which would hurt the detail.?
I want a background that’s black with blue lighting. I also want to be able to make raised looking lettering, and put in 3 objects side by side, and have a 4th one to be transparent behind them.
I know it is possible in the full Photoshop program to make a clone stamp of a signature for signing photos, etc, but is it possible to do the same in Elements 11?
What happened to the Thicker Lines feature in the view port Shading menu? This is an absolutely essential feature! Is it part of the removed features in Maya 2014?
I am trying to redesign these cupcakes. I am wondering how do I get the thinner endings of the lines that eventually become thicker as the line extends? You can see it on the frosting lines and smiles. I am using Illustator 10. Â Here is a picture
I scanned my signature into my computer as a TIFF file. I then edited and cleaned it up in Photoshop. Then I placed it into Illustrator and turned it into a Vector file. The problem with this though is that there are vector paths around the perimeter of the signature and not down the middle of the letter strokes as would be if I had made it in Illustrator. Is there a way that I can still make this happen?  I just converted it back to a tiff file becuas the vector lines were turning into double lines in places. I just enlarged them enough that it hid any gaps and then converted it into a tiff file to have another try at it. Would much rather work with one line though.
OK, total newb with photoshop here. Not sure how to explain what I was trying to do so if title is not descriptive enough, sorry.
Also have searched but agian difficult to explain what I want so difficult to find correct search words.
I have a layer is a PSD which someone else has created, unfortunately said person has not come back with a how to on this, where there are a few 'white' objects which fade from solid white in the centre to transparent at the edge. Also if the object has thin lines these also fade.
How do you smooth lines? Like if I trace something and the lines are just a touch jagged, how do I get them to look perfect? I'm using PS7.
Also, how could I make concentric circles? Or even just a hollow circle? I can use the shape tool to make a circle, but that fills it - is there a way to make it with just a 2 or 3 pixel outline and hollow in the middle?
How do you get the lines an easy way? I was wracking my brain and I just couldnt figure it out. I tried doing clouds, and making the lightning type thing then using satin for some shading etc... But it doesnt look really lasery, and i had to reduce the size alot.
So I have a student who wants to put these lines in the object. Â Since it would be very difficult to make these lines enclosed and looking right is there anyway to put these lines in the object. Â I don't understand why Emboss works on letters but not lines. Â That is all letters are.
I have been trying to set up macros which stop lines from printing for our company title block, I have been using and following this website Making Lines Not Print (with Events) | Boost Your BIM - making Revit even better. It keeps coming up with errors and therefore I can't run it.
How to make the lines on this image smooth. You will see in the picture that there is some really choppy lines on the headphones and how to properly fix it. I've tried so many times and can't do it.
Using Autocad 2000LT with Windows XP and would like to make some lines in the drawing wider and or bolder. how to make certain lines wider so they would stand out from the rest of the drawing.
I could edit an existing PDF made by another company, just change a few lines of text. The original file was around 3 mb. I add in a website, extension to the phone number, switch out the fax (That's it!) and save as a new version. It's now almost 30 mb. Why?? My work email won't let me send something of that size.. I tried saving as smallest file size w/ preserving editing and it came out to be 15+ mb.
When I copy objects from a drawing to another drawing in .DWG, it appears that the lineweights becomes different between the two drawings.
For example, let's say there is a layer whose Lineweight is 0.3mm, Color is green and Linetype is continuous on the source drawing file. You notice the objects under that layer should be thicker. After copying to another drawing or destination drawing file, I noticed the layer got transferred across which is good and everything else associated with that layer. But then, I noticed on the other drawing, the objects on that layer are not as thick as that of the source drawing file. When i checked the layer on the layer properties manager, it shows the lineweight is 0.3mm. I wonder why the lineweight of the objects are different as if they are 0.00mm and what should I do to keep it consistent on the other drawing after the copy.
In other softwares when you creat a spline you are able to adjust the curvature between points by dragging the slope handles at a node. In my file, I have thus far been unable to fair my splines with any kind of consistancy. Also, it should be possible to place a tangent constaint to a straight line at a point, yet I haven't been able to do that either. According to the help files this should be an easy thing to adjust, Why am I not able to?
I have text from dt command, circle and leader line. After selecting them I use the copy command and starte pasting all over my drawing. Probable about 6 copies. about 3 or 4 of them end up not being able to select them. So if i want to edit the text, move all three entities or just delete them i cant. I figured out the only way to delete these "unselectable" objects i copied is to only have that layer on, type selectall and delete. Why this happens and why if i did 6 pastes it only happens to 3 or 4 of them? does it have to do with feature lines? I do have 3d lines in this dwg but i should still be able to select what i copied.
The problem is that when I choose or designate an outline thickness, the horizontal is much thicker than the vertical. I need consistency. Especially noticeable if I modify a font, enlarge it, stretch or skew. I do set the outline to scale with image and also don't outline until I am finished with the modifications.Â
I was just going through the files for our main printed catalog, updating everything and turning individual pages into pdfs for the website, and once again ran into this anomaly. Often, photos with a white background would be processed for the pdf with a black kind of ragged edge line, appearing to be slightly offset from the actual cropping edge from DRAW. This has been an intermittent problem for as long as I can remember. I suspect Adobe is at fault, but what is the solution? I can re-crop the photo and regenerate a new pdf and sometimes that works, but not for a lot of these pics.
I have some picture look like a line of graph, but it has only one-pixel line width (for an example in attach file) and it can't be seen when I put it in presentation slide. So I want to make line thicker, like 3-5 pixel width. How can I do this?
