i cannot find a video i watched last week on the new features of cs6 photoshop. I have been searching for the last hour on adobe tv for the one i am after and cant find it. It features the content aware move tool, fixing skin tones, camera raw, and video (and a few more i think). All the examples use images of models and the video is of models too.

I don't use smart collections much. Could that be set up as an attribute? Like the way Itunes has last played in decending order.
I'll have to scroll through 5,000 images now to find it and export to PS for some final work.
I sometimes need to find recently printed images. Lightroom history in the develop module is great as it tells me when I last printed an image.
Is there a way to find all image printed on a given date? Or to sort by date printed?
I have saved a psd file as jpg using File -> Save as.
Also tried: File -> Save for web.
When I look at the newly saved jpg file in photoshop the colors are great.
When I look at the same jpg file in Firefox or Internet explorer the file look bleached (a lot lighter in color).
How do I save the image for view on web, and then make sure the colors match more closely to the original file?
To manually correct for the missing colors would be a lot of work, and I hope there is an automated way of doing this?
Using Photoshop 5.5.
Both images viewed on same computer in same light.
I'm not finding any sound management features for the video part of PS or anything in the help files yet either.

I couldn't find anything on the adobe site and tech support sent me an auto reply which mentioned within 48 hours and I don't have 48 hrs.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am currently running CS2. I tried the CS4 demo, but found that my laptop was not powerful enough to process the 3d images. I deleted CS4 and would like to continue with CS2. CS2 runs fine now but I have a problem that if I right click a photo and chose to open it, it wants to open it with CS4 and gives me error conditions. I have used add/remove programs to delete CS4 and have also run a registry fix as well, yet this problem continues.

View 3 Replies View RelatedEver since I switched to Photoshop Elements 10 and subsequently 11 (both are on my computer), I have been unable to add music media.
I copied ALL of my music CDs to my hard drive and to my iphone etc. They are there and I can play them. I have been unable to add my music. For example this is what happens when I am in Photoshop Elements 10 slideshow:
* ADD MEDIA
* Audio from folder
* iTunes
* iTunes Media
* Music from CDs
* every folder I try returns the message "no items match your search".
I evaluate Streaming Profiler for a 5000+ User environment. One of my challenges is to stream Photoshop. There will be several hundred of Photoshop users.
I'm an extremal Consultant and therefore I don't have a serial number yet, but have to present next friday, 7am GMT. I loaded a copy of Photoshop today, installed a Demo, but ran into the following problem:
OS: WinXP, 4 GB RAM, Intel i7-965 Processor
Installation went terrible well, apart from the fact that I could not leave the updater unselected (a must have in a streaming environment).
When I started the program it instantly quits telling me: Error: 148:3
Licensing for this product has stopped working.
This product has has encountered a problem which requires you to restart your computer before it can be launched.
However, reboot is a lye, there is no point in rebooting, the program won't start.
There is no way to enter a serial number, just this sticky finger message. The promise of 30 days trial? Not in this environment?
Is there an option PS CS6 or CC to have recently used fonts or fonts in doc on top of font list? I find it maddening to have to open old documents and select fonts to see what I've used.
View 3 Replies View RelatedYesterday I discovered that when I load tiffs into CS5 they are slightly blurred and the colour changes, when I load them into windows paint they are crystal clear and the colour is as it should be. To double check I obrained some free tiffs online and they also show up blurred and with more colout saturation, this only seems to happen with tiffs and has stopped me dead in my tracks.
I have added an example of one of my photographs here, if you look closely you will see the photoshop image on the left loses detail and appears slighlty blurred, also the colour is more saturated. The windows paint version is crystal clear and the colour is true.
I just can't figure out why the free windows paint is opening up a clearer unaffected image whilst the premium photoshop software opens up a less clear and colour changed images...
Example..... In both images compare the small tree situated above the large post on the right, the thin branches on the "right hand" version are more detailed...

I've been using PS for decades. What as always confounded me over this time is the lack of "favorites" or recently used fonts in PS. I can't believe the developers of PS havn't figured this out. It's a royal P.I.T.A to have to wade through hundreds of fonts every time.
Can we finally get this incorporated!
I downloaded the 32 bit version of 9 and installed it on my 64 bit laptop.I went that way as I read the 64 bit doesn't support all features and I know my GIS software doesn't in similar type of installations.
I couldn't find any more about running 32 bit version on 64 bit device so expected it should work okay.EDIT - After installation I was prompted with this fact but it did say no problem with running it that way.Just mention here as others may be confused and wonder which version will work on a 64 bit machine.
But when I got past the installation and onto registering it for an extended 30 days I was blocked with the message CSRF blocked...

So, I was told I needed to use Revit for my course, went on the website and found 'free student version, download now, it's great' or some such, and downloaded it. Soon after it came up saying I needed to activate the product, and gave no indication of how to do so, I left it for a while, then, there being little else I could do, until it came up saying my trial version had run out, and that I needed to activate right then. By then, of course, I had forgotten my password, tried everything it could have been, none of them worked, so I arranged to change it, turns out I have to change it twice, the first new password only working to change it again, so now I have had to make up some new password I will never remember, but anyway. whilst I was trying to convince it to let me sign in with my new password, I found that I could actually still get into the program, and so started work. Turns out I was working in the 'demo mode' and cannot save everything I have done, but now I have finally managed to activate the product and open the real version, but i still cannot save what I did before.
So, long story short, my work is in demo mode, I want to save it, is there any way of copying it into the real version that I can now access and saving it there?
I downloaded the demo version of lightroom4 for testing. But in the demo there is no option (possibility) to add a watermark. Can that be?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am running the SMAC demo (installed 9/13/13 - Friday the 13th !!!) and all has been fine untill today. Now SMAC will not start. I click the icon and it bounces for about 3 minutes and then stops. Clicking on the icon reveals the old Application Not Responding.
My storage volume is mounted. Don't see anything odd in the Service Monitor. A restart of mac gets the same story.
When I save images in Jpeg format, it can only be viewed on other Mac's and not PC's. Why is that?
People with PC's can only view the images if opened in a browser, otherwise PC's can't open the files. It is very annoying.
I typically create graphics using index color that are black/white with some gray tones to highlight a part of the drawing. The graphics are published in a PDF document, are typically a very manageable file size and initially look great. The problem is the PDF documents are typically 500 pages and the file size is reduced in Adobe Acrobat Standard. After reducing the file size, all index color graphics appear bloched or very fuzzy when viewing the PDF on a monitor. The printed PDF document has some fuzziness but the image quality should be improved. Do you have any suggestions to improve the image quality of index color graphics in a reduced file size PDF document? Or any suggestions to create sharp black/white images with gray highlights in a better way or avoid making the image fuzzy?

View 1 Replies View RelatedBeen working on a project moving files from Light room 4 to Photoshop CS6 for final edits and experiencing recent files crashing PS CS6 when using the smart sharpen filter. I've processed hundreds of files in CS6 and never had this issue till lately. All other filters work fine, including other sharpen options, it's just the smart sharpen interface.
I over-installed/re-installed Photoshop CS6 thinking a driver might have corrupted for that filter, then installed all available upgrades but the problem persists. I can't figure it out, and it's a problem - I use smart sharpen a lot for final output. Am I overlooking something simple? Or, do I need to just uninstall PS CS6 and do a total re-install or is there another option?
My recently edited files do not show in the editor. All the repairs, optimise etc have been done. Photos have been saved as Jpeg and PSD and the check box to save in Organiser also ticked. Timeline does not show anything saved today and untagged media is not picking up anything.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I copy a bunch of pictures from PSE 10 & then load them into a tablet (galaxy tab 2 10.1) should all of the Tags still have all of the EXIF data & tag information from PSE? The reason that I ask is because I looked at a few picture copied this way & the tablet gives the choice of displaying things like where picture taken,presumably from GPS data as well as by date taken etc?
I can call up some picture with where taken but none that would have used other tags.
When I insert a new window into an exterior wall in the proposed phase, the demo phase drawings shows dashed lines on the faces of the wall, but no dashed lines running through the wall on the left or right of the window. This makes it very hard to tell where the demo opening should be. Attached is a screenshot of this issue.
