I can open only one file at a time - attempting to open multiple files (>1) causes a mishandled exception triggering the debugger. The demo was downloaded from adobe 3-11-08. No errors occurred during installation - all seemed to have gone well. Any help?
Everytime I launch it the programme activates the expired demo version and won't let me enter the serial number of the programme. Any ideas? Is there is fix available. I couldn't find anything on the adobe site and tech support sent me an auto reply which mentioned within 48 hours and I don't have 48 hrs.
I am currently running CS2. I tried the CS4 demo, but found that my laptop was not powerful enough to process the 3d images. I deleted CS4 and would like to continue with CS2. CS2 runs fine now but I have a problem that if I right click a photo and chose to open it, it wants to open it with CS4 and gives me error conditions. I have used add/remove programs to delete CS4 and have also run a registry fix as well, yet this problem continues.
I evaluate Streaming Profiler for a 5000+ User environment. One of my challenges is to stream Photoshop. There will be several hundred of Photoshop users. I'm an extremal Consultant and therefore I don't have a serial number yet, but have to present next friday, 7am GMT. I loaded a copy of Photoshop today, installed a Demo, but ran into the following problem:
OS: WinXP, 4 GB RAM, Intel i7-965 Processor
Installation went terrible well, apart from the fact that I could not leave the updater unselected (a must have in a streaming environment).
When I started the program it instantly quits telling me: Error: 148:3
Licensing for this product has stopped working. This product has has encountered a problem which requires you to restart your computer before it can be launched.
However, reboot is a lye, there is no point in rebooting, the program won't start.
There is no way to enter a serial number, just this sticky finger message. The promise of 30 days trial? Not in this environment?
i cannot find a video i watched last week on the new features of cs6 photoshop. I have been searching for the last hour on adobe tv for the one i am after and cant find it. It features the content aware move tool, fixing skin tones, camera raw, and video (and a few more i think). All the examples use images of models and the video is of models too.
I downloaded the 32 bit version of 9 and installed it on my 64 bit laptop.I went that way as I read the 64 bit doesn't support all features and I know my GIS software doesn't in similar type of installations.
I couldn't find any more about running 32 bit version on 64 bit device so expected it should work okay.EDIT - After installation I was prompted with this fact but it did say no problem with running it that way.Just mention here as others may be confused and wonder which version will work on a 64 bit machine.
But when I got past the installation and onto registering it for an extended 30 days I was blocked with the message CSRF blocked...
So, I was told I needed to use Revit for my course, went on the website and found 'free student version, download now, it's great' or some such, and downloaded it. Soon after it came up saying I needed to activate the product, and gave no indication of how to do so, I left it for a while, then, there being little else I could do, until it came up saying my trial version had run out, and that I needed to activate right then. By then, of course, I had forgotten my password, tried everything it could have been, none of them worked, so I arranged to change it, turns out I have to change it twice, the first new password only working to change it again, so now I have had to make up some new password I will never remember, but anyway. whilst I was trying to convince it to let me sign in with my new password, I found that I could actually still get into the program, and so started work. Turns out I was working in the 'demo mode' and cannot save everything I have done, but now I have finally managed to activate the product and open the real version, but i still cannot save what I did before. Â So, long story short, my work is in demo mode, I want to save it, is there any way of copying it into the real version that I can now access and saving it there?
I am running the SMAC demo (installed 9/13/13 - Friday the 13th !!!) and all has been fine untill today. Now SMAC will not start. I click the icon and it bounces for about 3 minutes and then stops. Clicking on the icon reveals the old Application Not Responding.  My storage volume is mounted. Don't see anything odd in the Service Monitor. A restart of mac gets the same story.
When starting Xara Designer or Xara Webdesigner, I always get an introduction page (getting started...) and I always have to close this page before starting. Is there an option to disable this display and get a blank page instead.
When I insert a new window into an exterior wall in the proposed phase, the demo phase drawings shows dashed lines on the faces of the wall, but no dashed lines running through the wall on the left or right of the window.  This makes it very hard to tell where the demo opening should be. Attached is a screenshot of this issue.
I want to create a routine that will place selected objects on a the corresponding demo layer. Â Here is the outline:
enter command select object extract layer name of object (i.e. "CS CURB") if demo layer exists  (i.e. "CS CURB CD") >put object on demo layer >else create demo layer, and place object on layer
I could select multiple objects on different layers.is this possible with lisp? any good starting point for lisp programing?
I have hardly ever used filters for any of my work as I have preferred using Xara's native tools and effects to get what I wanted. But recently, I was inspired by some animation work which used backgrounds painted in Photoshop. They used a lot of textures which enhanced the look of the animation and so I thought I'd try to simulate it within Xara.
It works very well and I can export it as a PSD retaining the layers and Alpha channel. But here come my questions.
1. How can I remove the two Alien Skin demo plugins as I already have the full versions.
2. Why don't the native Photoshop plugins--Artistic, Sketch, etc.--seem to work?
Why new rooms show up in lieu of existing rooms when"show previous and demo" are set for the phase filter? Every single other existing element including doors, walls, windows, etc. show in the "show previous and demo" phase filter with the exception of rooms.
I have a fairly new DELL PC that meets all the minimum system requirements. I am running Window 7 and I can't get Autocad 2013 demo to run. It says install successful but when I try to run it it just hangs up and says "First run Initializing" and never loading. This is the first program that won't run I've ever had with this new computer.
Photoshop keeps crashing every time I convert a 32 bit image to 8bit. I am using Photoshop CS6 v13.0.4 x64 on MAC OS X 10.6.8. I goto Image>Mode>8bits/Channel.When the Merge HDR images Dialogue Box comes up I click "Merge".  At the following window about HDR Toning it immediately crashes. (immediately as in, a second after I took this screen capture) When i click "Don't Merge" it works fine, so it has something to do with the HDR Toning editing capabilities.  I have had problems before with CS6 working with 32 bit images on my Mac. It would render black within my selection. However it worked fine on Windows. In addition some who relied who also used MAC OS X 10.6.8 did it an it worked fine, however, he was using Photoshop CS6 v13.0.1 x64, while I am using v13.0.4 x64. So I think something broke in the later updates for PS CS6 for MAC. If I were to re-install Photoshop would that revert it to v13.0.1?
I got a new computer:  Processor Name:         Intel Core i7  Processor Speed:         2.3 GHz  Number of Processors:         1  Total Number of Cores:         4  L2 Cache (per Core):         256 KB  L3 Cache:         6 MB  Memory:         4 GB OSX 10.8.5  I just installed my CS4 Creative Suite and Photoshop immediately crashes upon making a second layer. Adobe tells me that my computer is not compatible with this version of Photshop and I have to upgrade if I want to use Photoshop. I haven't even checked if the rest of the suite is compatible, but I assume it is not. I did try to update the Adobe Updater. It says "A new version of the Adobe Update is available for intstallation. Click OK to install it now. Note: You may be required to authenticat in order to install.  Then it checks all the products in my Suite and returns on an endless loop to the above.  Here is the report when it crashes:  Process:        Adobe Photoshop CS4 [172] Path:           /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS4/Adobe Photoshop CS4.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Photoshop CS4 Identifier:     com.adobe.Photoshop Version:        11.0 [11.0x20080919 [20080919.r.488 2008/09/19:02:00:00 cutoff; r branch]] (11.0) Code Type:      X86 (Native) Parent Process: launchd [143] User ID:        502
I have CS4 on my mac OS X 10.8.3. Photoshop CS4 is crashing all the time.I update it regularly. It used to crash using layers, so i changed the graphic settings as suggested in this forum, now this is ok.  Now PS crashes:
- everytime i do "save for web" - often when i work on text layers - sometimes for nothing in particular  It is really impossible to work in this conditions.Fireworks CS4 crashes too when trying to save a file.
**DELL i5 INSPIRON N5010** Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 370 @ 2.40GHz RAM 6 GB System Type : 64 bit OS Windows 7 Home Premium Graphic Card : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v (1GB) (No Updates available for last 2 years)  My problem is when I try to work with 3d workspace while using 3d feature for a particular object, it shows 3d platform and default 3d settings/ properties to that particular shape but as soon as i try to click on scene or any other property option in 3d layer menu it stops working and shows not responding error. I suspect the video card as I have only had this computer about one year and no problems with cs5. From what I can find out is that this is one of the video cards not tested by Adobe.Â
Jun 10, 2009 12:05 PM CS4 crashesI recently upgraded from Photoshop CS to CS4. I also run Elements 6. My problem: Now, Elements crashes whenever I use the edit function. CS4 allows all editing features but crashes with attempt to print. I also have a printing utility called QImage. Since installing CS4, QImage crashes with any attempt to open it. As a further "clue", attempting to print from Adobe Reader 9.1 crashes that program.
Does this sound at all familiar to anyone or has anybody experienced this as well? I have a blank document open and have tried both placing and opening an image (not one image in particular but many) and I recieve a pop up box saying CS3 has encountered an error and needs to close. I've uninstalled all adobe products on my PC and reinstalled them hoping that would help, but the same problem persists.
When I purchased CS3 Web Premium it took several months of tooling around to get it to install on Vista HP. Photoshop cs3 worked fine for a few months after installation. It now refuses to open any files - just goes to an eternal spinning icon. When I try to shut it down, it just says not responding. I reinstalled once (takes hours) and it worked for an afternoon. Next morning back to not opening files.
Macine is dell xps M1210, 2Gb Ram, Core 2 T5600 processor, NVIDIA Go 7400 64Mb card.
Photoshop crashes whenever I try to have two files open at once. It's doing it on my co-worker's computer too. Mine has done it as long as I've had this computer, but his just started doing it today; it worked fine before that. We're running CS3 on Vista.
My Photoshop CS2 has suddenly begun to crash on opening. After a few seconds it says " Unable to continue because of a hardware or systems failiure". All my other programs work OK (I think!). My most recent install was Office 2007.I am running Windows XP SP3 with 1.4G RAM and an Athlon 2G processor.
I just built a system, here's the specs:Intel Core i7 9206GB OCZ RamMSI X58 Pro MotherboardAsus EAH 4870 Top GraphicsVista Ultimate 64 I initially built this system about a week and a half ago, and put a beta copy of Windows 7 on it while waiting for my copy of Vista to arrive. PS installed fine, was blazing fast, and all was good. I then got Vista, formatted the system, etc. Tried to install PS, and it would crash on startup. I figured it was driver issues, so I decided to deal with it later. I updated all the drivers, etc, and it still wouldn't work. I uninstalled it, but got an error on uninstall. Eventually I found the PS Clean uninstall script, and that has been helping. Now when I try to reinstall, it reinstalls fine, but again, immediate crash. I figured, long shot, but maybe somehow my PS disc was corrupt, so I spent last night DLing a trial from here. Again, immediate crash.Running 64bit Vista, I have the option to open wither Adobe Photoshop CS4, or Adobe Photoshop CS4 (32 bit.) They both have the exact same error. This is getting pretty annoying, and I honestly have already spent too long looking through KB articles, and I'm hoping you guys might have a solution for me. I have attached a screenshot of the error I have been getting. If it matters, this is a shot from the install of the trial I downloaded. Regarding a "program" causing it, and Windows closing it, this even happens with nothing open at all, including system tray things. Also, whatever Windows says it will close,
Has anyone had trouble with PS 7.0 crashing when attempting to use the Image Size Function. It was fine until Auto updates from Windows came through a few days ago.
My version of PS4 that was working fine has stopped working, it crushes at start up. I clean installed the program several times but the result is the same.
I'm using CS 5.5 with Camera Raw 6.7 on Windows XP. Suddenly, I'm having challenges with images opened and edited in Camera Raw 6.7, with either trying to save directly to disk or opening in Photoshop. I am getting "out of memory" errors. I've purged the caches, etc., but to no avail.
Every time I open Photoshopp CC on my Mac Pro (8-core, 32Gb RAM) I get the spinning beachball of death and the app is completely unresponsive. I have logged out and back in to the CC to no purpose. I am completelt fed up with continually beta testing Adobe's software and paying through the nose for it. Â There is also no crash log generated, nor an opportunity to submit one.
I'm not sure why Photoshop CS6 crashes when it saves. Here is the debugging info.  Problem signature:  Problem Event Name:         APPCRASH  Application Name:         Photoshop.exe  Application Version:         13.0.0.0  Application Timestamp:         4f61c045  Fault Module Name:         aticfx64.dll  Fault Module Version:         8.17.10.1151  Fault Module Timestamp:         50525d73
If I open a PSD with type, the file opens but Photoshop hangs. If the PSD contains no type (eg type rasterised), Photoshop works fine. My OS is Windows Vista.
