Is there an option PS CS6 or CC to have recently used fonts or fonts in doc on top of font list? I find it maddening to have to open old documents and select fonts to see what I've used.
View 3 RepliesI've been using PS for decades. What as always confounded me over this time is the lack of "favorites" or recently used fonts in PS. I can't believe the developers of PS havn't figured this out. It's a royal P.I.T.A to have to wade through hundreds of fonts every time.
Can we finally get this incorporated!
After my recent update to OSX 10.8.3 it seems that all the fonts are elongated.

View 4 Replies View RelatedBeen working on a project moving files from Light room 4 to Photoshop CS6 for final edits and experiencing recent files crashing PS CS6 when using the smart sharpen filter. I've processed hundreds of files in CS6 and never had this issue till lately. All other filters work fine, including other sharpen options, it's just the smart sharpen interface.
I over-installed/re-installed Photoshop CS6 thinking a driver might have corrupted for that filter, then installed all available upgrades but the problem persists. I can't figure it out, and it's a problem - I use smart sharpen a lot for final output. Am I overlooking something simple? Or, do I need to just uninstall PS CS6 and do a total re-install or is there another option?
i cannot find a video i watched last week on the new features of cs6 photoshop. I have been searching for the last hour on adobe tv for the one i am after and cant find it. It features the content aware move tool, fixing skin tones, camera raw, and video (and a few more i think). All the examples use images of models and the video is of models too.

Photos have been saved as Jpeg and PSD and the check box to save in Organiser also ticked. Timeline does not show anything saved today and untagged media is not picking up anything.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOnce I installed windows 7, while I WAS using PSE 9, I had the tiny font problem. I stopped using PSE for 2 years. I just installed PSE 11. Though better, the Font is still way smaller than I would like. Maybe it's just tougher for seniors? Can they not make the font adjustable? I was told there is no way to increase the size of the font?

I've closed psp, re-booted the computer, then opened psp. No change.I reset the workspace to default, which sometimes fixes issues, but again, no luck.
My AutoCAD will not allow me to open my recently used file. It keeps coming up with a message saying:
'Drawing File is not Valid'
I am doing a process which means that I have to repeat filters and it's a slow process to keep opening the filters tab, then the recently used tab, then the filter.
I was wondering if there is a way to load the 'recently used' up onto the main tool bar so that it would be possible to go straight to it.

Or maybe drag the 'recently used' to a separate tool bar of it's own?
I have a lot of images in my library. Last night I was working on a picture, I had to force restart the computer this morning.Just wondering if there is a way like "previous import" to show the images "Developed"
I don't use smart collections much. Could that be set up as an attribute? Like the way Itunes has last played in decending order.
I'll have to scroll through 5,000 images now to find it and export to PS for some final work.
I click on the brush and zero out all the sliders except for exposure, for example. I adjust settings for brush and start brushing on targeted area. Nothing happens and mask overlay does not show red on brushed area. Am using Mac 10.6.8. I also have multiple upgrade catalogs - Lightroom 3 Catalog-2, and -3, and -4. I would prefer to have just one.

Is there a way to find all image printed on a given date? Or to sort by date printed?
I can't open any of the recently imported photos in LR3? When I pull them up from my external hardrive it tells me the photo is allready imported and wont let me do it again. I can open older photo's just not recent ones.

View 4 Replies View RelatedYesterday, before I got the problem, I got the toolbox AND the other toolbox, on the left and right, excactly as how I got it in the first time I got GIMP. But the next day, all I see was a blank screen on the GIMP, I check the "Windows" menu, go to the "Recently closed docks" and said "empty", it got erased completely on the tool only. The grid level, my other files, ect. is there, but the toolbox is completely erased for no reason.
View 6 Replies View RelatedIt used to be that I very rarely used fonts within CS5 but recently I have. I realized that all of the fonts supposedly included with CS5 are not available via my drop down menu.
I then found these fonts in Windows/fonts so I copied all of those fonts into Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts. These unavailble fonts are now listed in that folder but are still not available via the dropdown menu in PS CS5.
I've recently read that the fonts don't really even NEED to be in the Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts folder and that PS should actually make all of the fonts in Windows/Fonts available via the dropdown menu. Yes, I have restarted PS after copying the files and also tried rebooting my PC after copying the files. The fonts are still not available via the drop down text menu within PS even though all of them are now in both locations.
I have put some new fonts into C:/windows/fonts and they have come up in other programs e.g. Microsoft office but they are not showing up in photoshop.
i am using vista home premium with SP1 and it is 32bit and photoshop cs4.
Still able to open files saved before yesterday just having problems to open recently saved files (all files since yesterday). It allows to save properly, on preview mode shows what is in the file, size of the file is correct as well. But when trying to open it opens as a blank page or is not opening at all.
Did a test- saved file with a simple objects / text only. Cant open.
plus- doesnt allow to copy & paste.
Reinstall all coreldraw package- still the same problem.
Today I started up my computer,ran 3ds Max 2010 64bit on windows 7,the 3ds Max menus became square frames,included recently opened files names...I repaired and reinstalled 3ds Max,but it fixed nothing...what else can i do?

View 10 Replies View Relatedif it is possible to increase the number of recently used values/parameters in the dimension dialog, during part sketching. For one part, I use approximately ten parameters that will be used repeatedly. When I'm done with one sketch and start with the next, only the last five parameters are in the recently used parameter list. (Create dimension --> select arrow on right side of dialog, see attachment Dimension_Dialog.jpg, excuse me for the poor quality ). It would be much more comfort to have more parameters in this 'recently used'-list.
Furthermore I'd like to know if it's possible to widen the parameter-list. In my case I've several parameters that start with the same prefix, followed by a differentiating suffix. When I create a new dimension, select the arrow on the right and select 'List Parameters', I have to adjust the width of this dialog every time to see the entire parameter. (see picture Dimension_parameters.jpg)
I can't remember when I first saw the recently-opened-document-list in which you can preview the documents; you hover your mouse above one of the documents listed there, a preview of the document pops up, and if you wait a second longer, underneath the preview some dates are displayed (modified date, Version info etc.). For as long I CAN remember, these dates have always been set to 1-1-0001 0:00:00, see picture below. I hoped that the release of Inventor 2011 solved this issue, but after installing Inventor 2012 this year, this issue has still not been solved. Is this an Inventor issue, or is it Microsofts responsibility?

never knew there has a font folder in the user profile for Gimp until I wiped my user profile and moved all patterns, gradients, brushes, etc I have been putting in the program folder to the user profile folder because I read on here that it is better to keep all that stuff in the user profile folder of Gimp... my question is, what is the difference between installing your fonts into the system and placing them into the fonts folder in Gimp (besides all programs being able to use them)?? I've been installing all my fonts into the system I wanna use in Gimp... is it better to use the font folder in the Gimp user profile or to install them into the system?

I think you should read the original mail again. Hint: "system fonts not shown" is not the problem, but the desired outcome.I have accidentally read a "not" into the original mail, thus it became "to get Gimp to *not* only show fonts from the user/fonts file"
The configuration to check is the fonconfig settings then, for example the the global, system-wide fonts.conf file. It may contain references to the global font directories, for example /usr/share/fonts/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts. URL....
If you comment those out, then you can (and have to) add all font directories in GIMP's settings, for example.
