I m using Photoshop to work on clothing textures and later import them into Second Life. Most of the time I use Dodge and Burn tool to create the effects on clothing. I believe there are other methods to create verry good looking clothing such as this picture shows (please take a look only at the pants and the effects) What else (or methods) can you use to create such great (wet)look? Thank you for the upcomming help and advice. I am looking for a couple of plugins that can help me add texture and draping effects to my clothing designs, which at the moment don't even look 2D. Am looking also for something that will help me design and implement patterns, such as checks with out having to copy and paste. The easier to use the better as I do not know Photoshop CS that well.
I've done many many searches for this type of effect, but I haven't had much luck. I'm trying to create a sequence of images of ripped clothing. As in the Incredible Hulk, busting out of the clothes.
In the past I've used the smear tool with different shaped brushes, but that doesn't really do it too well.
it is possible to custom clothing for 3D Daz models using Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended? I can find tutors on painting models but nothing on making the custom clothing itself, not a texture for other clothing but making my own clothing for DAZ Kids4. I have been using Hexagon to work with clothing but was looking for a photoshop alternative method.
I am trying to change the color of some clothing from black to a tan or gray.  I have seen tutuorials that use a hue/saturation layer mask to accomplish this task. But I find that with black clothes nothing happens when I change the hue. I assume this is because of the black? At any rate, what is the best way to turn something from black to another color?
I need to batch texturize a ton of image with a clothing fabric I have loaded to get the look I need. I now how to batch image but can't find a way to use the batch image with texturizer and a texture I have loaded. Can this be done? If so, how?
I have been using Photoshop for a while now but have recently been invited to design some sportswear. I want to initially take existing clothing and change the colours and add designs. As an example, how would I get this soccer kit to be either all white or white on everything apart from the shorts?
I have managed to get yellow to go white using the hue/saturation tool but dark colours seem like its impossible. I do also want to know how to go from white to a darker colour but maybe I should save that for my next thread.
I have received a new logo from our brand developers. The spec is
C - 0 M - 98 Y - 75 K - 22 Â or Pantone 1805 Â or R - 191 Â Â Â Â G - 49 Â Â Â Â B - 26 Â I get a different colour depending on which spec I use, and if I sample a digital document, a fourth variation on red. Am I just not understanding these colour specs? I want to be able to reproduce the logo on printed documents, and use it for embroidery on clothing. I also need to produce adobe pdf files and jpegs to email copy to advertisers.
Alright, so I'm trying to import a checker pattern onto my drawing for clothing decoration. The first time I did it, no problem, but now when I try to import a layer it doesn't work the way I want it to. When I try to erase parts of it, instead of being transparent, it erases away white. (See attachment) How can I fix this?
When moving images into PE 10 for editing, patterns on clothing get distorted (stripes, checks). These are fine in other programs after downloading from the camera. They are also fine in the PE 10 RAW editor, but distort when moved into the editor. It does not seem to be just a display issue as they also print with the distorted patterns. how to correct or avoid this from happening?
I have PSE11 and purchased Paint the Moon effects. How can I view both the Layers panel and the Effects panel at the same time? Was this an option in older versions of PSE that are used in the Paint the Moon tutorials?
In PSP X5 I'm pretty sure there's a way to make User Defined Instant Effects in the Adjust mode, but I can't find the steps in the Help Files. I'm thinking these are just scripts, but I'm not sure.
I have a flash animation, just shapes and tweening. I was wondering if there's a way to convert it to After Effects but keeping it editable (i.e. getting AE shapes and keyframes).
I have created keyframes from audio file and used them to generate some effect, all works fine, it is amazing how easy it is However, I would like to generate flash (?) so that these effects would be dynamic to different audio files after export.
What I want is basically to create effects that can be used in life event to the streaming music.
After intalling Premiere pro CS6 and After effects CS6, I installed add-ons for these programs (newblue, boris, prodad...). When I open After Effects it gives me 38 cases of effects (Detail Enhancer, noise Reducer...) redundant in other programs, telling me to get rid of them.
When I check these effects in my programs, they are mainly .aex files, located in Premiere Pro CS6, Adobe Common Plug-ins, NewBlue Video effects collections 1 to 6. Some of them also exist in avid /pinnacle studio programs (my former video tools I still use to close previous video projects) before concentrating in Adobe CS6 suite. I don't know what to remove in a safe way. Premiere pro CS6 doesn't worry about redundancies ! Only After Effects...
Specifically the Boris Continuum plugins. I get this error:Â Â Â Seems to happen for really no reason, even if I apply the effect and let the comp sit idle, it hapens after a minute or so. Â Win 7x64, AE CS6 11.04, 16 gb of RAM GPU: GeForce GTX560ti
I have made a short film of 6 minutes (in 6 parts on after effects) I have added all the effects and the camera work on AE, but it needs a lot of editing here and there, which I find impossible to do on AE since you can't cut and join scenes like Premier pro. I need to import all these sequences onto premier pro for editing now. The problem is once I import the files, it imports in the right order in systematic folders etc, but it doesn't show any of the camera work or the special effects like gaussian blur etc. All my hard work has gone. Â There must be a way you can import the after effects file on premier the way it looks on AE. Â Another problem is I read some boards and it has been suggested to edit the clips first on premier and then add effects on AE but I read this really late and I've already composited the whole film on AE. I just need premier for cutting now. Â P.S: I also thought about exporting the AE sequences as TGA files but there's ZERO space left in my internal hard disk for that, and it would take forever to export them all anyway. Any other kind of export would reduce the original quality which I dont want, and which I dont have space for anyway, so that option is out as well.
I'm getting the same error on a project. Originally created in CC/Mac, down converted to CS6/PC (I don't yet have the exact version release). The sequence is 10 layers deep, and throws this error if we try to preview. If 8 of the 10 layers are turned off, then the sequence will preview as normal. So, is this a bug and is there a CS 6 version release that fixes this, or am I looking to reallocate RAM?
I've made a fabulous Smoke Text effect that I then insert the .mov file into Final Cut Pro. The smoke effect I downloaded from the tutorial has a black background and therefore when rendered out, it's a basic white text against a black background. Once in FCP, I have to turn the file's opacity down in order for it to layer over a video file and not black out what I layer over it.  How can I make the file transparent? A simple toggle of the transparency grid isn't going to do it. I need to make or find a video of smoke that is transparent?
I’m trying to add some text effects over my video, but I’m really stuck right now getting After Effects and Adobe Premier to work together.
From the tutorials I’ve watched online, I’ve been trying to create a dynamic link between the two programs so I could easily create texts and other effects in AE that immediately show up on my timeline in Premier. I've been able to create texts, but whatever I create in AE is not showing up on the Premier timeline. Am I missing a step? Also, when I load up my sequence into AE, all of the color correcting that I’ve done with Looks inside Premier goes away, and the clips appear as they did right out of the camera.
I'm using a Tril version of Photoshop CS6 in order to try it before the purchase ,but i'm having an issue with the working of the 3D effects in Photoshop CS6 (Evertime i launch the 3D Effects my Laptop freeze and need to Restart it,What to do ?
I'm trying to wrap text around a person's face. Not in a circular motion or text on a path etc. but to make it appear as though the text starts from one side of the person's ear and protrudes outwards towards the viewer and recedes back to the other ear. picture a tape measure which is the type/text and it wraps around a persons face.
