I created a magazine cover in ps the saved in .pdf format I am wanting to a a few artles I wrote and saved to .pdf and combine the. Like Mage cover, index page , articles about 8 saved.
I want them all in 1 .pdf combined instead of having to dl multiple files.

View 1 Replies View Related[URL] We have a client who are using Adobe Acrobat 9 and have .PDF's saved in a Share Folder. Is the creator of the document but is still faced with the read only prompt when trying to save the document after making an edit (e.g rotating). Upgrading to Adobe Acrobat 9 isn't an option.
Folder permissions in both Share and NTFS is okay. User's profile has full control of the folder it is being saved in. I've also ensured the reading pane is Windows Explorer is off when they're opening it.
Have run a repair on Adobe Acrobat 9 and tried with other documents with the same result.Saving locally does not have the same issue. using .PDF for Adobe Acrobat 9 in a Share Folder environment.
Server is SBS2008 and user's PC is Windows 7 Professional.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm creating video clips in Corel Video Studio X4 Ultimate (Education),for use in creating multimedia PDFs with Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
The formats Adobe Acrobat says is accepts include MPEG 4 / H.264,so in Corel Video Studio X4 I've tried selecting the following types of output file:
1) "MPEG4: iPhone H.264 (640 x 480)" My preferred resolution, but Adobe Acrobat won't accept it, apparently because it's "Sony PSP" (according to an analysis by MediaInfo), not supported by Flash, according to an advisor on the Adobe forums.
2) "MPEG4: iPod H.264" (320 x 240) This is accepted by Adobe Acrobat, even though it's also Sony PSP (according to MediaInfo). But this isn't enough resolution for my purposes.
3) "MPEG4: iPhone 4/iPad HD" This is also accepted by Adobe Acrobat, but the resolution is too high (1280x720) as the files are too large.
Weve recently updated our systems at our office to OS Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Im currently using AutoCad Architecture 2010. We also upgraded to Adobe Acrobat X.
The iissue i have is when plotting to PDF (selecting Adobe PDF as printer) it takes a long time to spool. Sometimes it takes as much as 4 mins before it completes the PDF. Other times it just crashes.
This is the first im using Acrobat X. Previoulsly i was using Acrobat 8 without issues. My thought is there might be a compatibility issue with the new version of Adobe X. Or perhaps its a simple as the settings im using. The other user in my office is running the same system, but hes using Acrobat 9, and of course his works flawlessly?
The temporary work-around is Exporting to PDF within AutoCAD.

(but the old ones do). I tried the whole process (from scanning on) but it doesn't work.
I installed the new full versions again...
any idea about the export preferences or preview formats (freehand says it doesn't accept TIFF previews..!?)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to install Photoshop CS 3 and Illustrator CS 3 on a OS running Windows XP Service Pack 2. When I use the setup file, windows invariably gives me an error. It's a generic windows error that suggests you to send a report file to Microsoft - I'm running Windows on russian language and therefore not sure of the exact wording.
Both setups have been known to work before. Note that the windows installation is relatively new, so it's therefore possible I'm missing some system files.
when working on Indesign, Photoshop files, and I save changes, the new date isn't saved, the file always retains the original date. I am using CS4.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince installing Photoshop CC, I cannot associate jpg's or psd's with Photoshop CC. I have used the "open with..." dialog box (something I have done a million times, so I know what I'm doing), but after choosing Photoshop, it does not appear in the list of recommended or other programs and will not open the jpg or psd file in Photoshop.
FYI, I installed Photoshop CC while Photoshop CS6 was still on my computer. I then deinstalled Photoshop CS6 and that is when I noticed the problem.
Problems opening tif files in Adobe Photoshop CS6. Lately I've been getting an error message: 'Photoshop does not recognize this kind of file' whenever I try to open a tif file. I've tried everything -- doing a complete purge and reinstall of CS6 and running all the latest available updates but with no success. Photoshop will not open any tif files! Am using iMac (Intel), OSX 10.8.2!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to submit and use pictures in a lossless format like png, but I've noticed that my colors don't get reproduced as vividly when I save in png vs. jpg or tiff because Photoshop (CS5/windows) seems to have broken png support (I guess it gets worse in CS6)... storing color profiles in png's while not widely done, have been part of the standard for over a decade.
Given Adobe's place a providing the premier image editing tools, It's hard to believe they'd not support accurate color in lossless images for the web, but I've yet to see any Adobe produced png that that contains a profile.
I do note, that libpng, the most widely used library for pngs, does have the ability to read and store ICC color profiles.
Maybe I'll have to write a post processor to add them on... as some programs do read them... and at least once, recently, in reading in a png file, I got a profile mismatch from Photoshop -- indicating that it can read profiles (OR, the file was only named .png, and was actually a .jpg -- if only I could remember what file it was...sigh...)
Maybe adobe could release an addon that automatically adds & prompts for profile settings on saves (assuming PS can use them)... Any work flows where people add them? Does PS read them in properly?
I feel sure some of my settings must be incorrect. I have never had trouble until now. PSE 10 keeps pausing, screen dims and error message " not responding " appears. Also, trouble printing anything that is an Adobe document. All of this started happening at once, so I assume they are connected. make sure my drivers, settings, etc... are correct?

After working on an image & then opening the file in Elements 11 ( Expert tab ) it offers a variety of options to enhance the image. It seems to be doubling up OR can I import the file directly into Elements 11 & work on it without using Adobe Camera Raw ?

When you start the Help Center from an Adobe Creative Suite 2 application (Illustrator, InDesign, GoLive, Photoshop, or Acrobat), you receive one of the following error messages:

I get the Model subsystem 1146 error.
I've re-set preferences and reinstalled the programme some ten times.
I still can't use Photoshop CS2 I really need Photomerge for my work.
I shoot raw srgb with Canon t3. I make adjustments in Canon's Digital Photo Professional then batch convert to jpg.
under color settings in cs6 I've chosen srgb, however, when I open my jpg picstures CS6 opens them as adobe rgb 1998 instead. I then have to convert them back to srgb.
How can I get CS6 to stop doing this so my pictures remailn srgb. I've tried checking the 'embed profile" box in DPP but that doesn't seem to make any difference.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been using Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) with my Canon EOS 30D, an 8 MP camera, for a while now. I would make non-destructive changes to the raw file (.CR2) in ACR where the changes would be stored in an adjoining .xmp file. Jpegs of the unedited and edited camera raw files would be created so I have a before and after versions of the images that can be viewed anywhere.
Now I have a Canon EOS 5D Mark III, a 22 MP camera and the raw files are much larger. I’m looking at using camera raw on jpeg files for some for my more casual photo shoots in order to save disk space. From what I have read, I can use ACR on jpeg files and that the changes would be stored in the metadata in the jpeg file. Is there a way for the changes to be stored in an adjoining .xmp file so that the original jpeg file is not modified, much like it is done with the .CR2 files?
I am using Adobe Photoshop CS5 on a Windows 7 machine. All software is up-to-date.
Also, I have found that Adobe’s camera raw handing is different than the raw handling of the photos using Canon’s software (DPP). Is there a way to make ACR closer to what Canon’s software does?
