Jan 23, 2013when working on Indesign, Photoshop files, and I save changes, the new date isn't saved, the file always retains the original date. I am using CS4.

Photoshop :: Any Way To Save / Open Files In Adobe Products Using General Windows Format
Mar 28, 2012Is there any way to save/open files in Adobe products using the general Windows format, i.e. where you could copy & paste a folder location into your address bar. I work on multiple projects across a complex network and I have to manually navigate through all the folders each time, and I can't copy & paste a location like I could if I was browsing through Windows normally. Also you can't save favorite locations?

Oct 25, 2012Using PSE9 on 2 PCs. Files are stored locally on each, and updates synced via Windows Mesh.
1) Add tag to jpg on PC1 using PSE.
2) Execute PSE "write to file" command before closing app
3) Confirm on PC2 via Windows Explorer that tag info is updated on local file
4) Open PSE on PC2, bur additional tag info is not recognized by PSE.
5) Tried to re-import test files in PSE using "Get Files" function, but tag data was still not read by PSE.
6) Manually added new tag to tag list, reloaded PSE, but new tag info still not read on file.
7) Ran Optimize and Repair catalog functions, but problem persisits.
How do I get PSE to read tag info on updated jpg files without rebuilding the entire catalog every time I edit a file?

Mar 13, 2013I'm rather puzzled with what happened to my Photoshop, i'm using Adobe Photoshop CS6 on a Windows 7 64 bit Notebook.when i'm in the office, it's docked at its station and connect to a larger monitor (via standard VGA plug on the dock) and i use both monitor (not closing the lid on the notebook) today, i had a spare monitor around that i can use, i plug it through the Displayport plug on the dock, it's all working fine, all three monitor display the desktop.
but when i load up photoshop, making new files or opening existing files, there is nothing in the screen although the layer panel shows there is something there.when i unplug the new monitor, everything back to normal.

I even downloaded the application manager but now it fails to install saying "remote server not properly placed.Try after a few minutes" Whenever I retry I get the same message. There seems to be NO counterpart in CS3 - - which seems impossible for so powerful a program. In that most of my work involves selecting very precise points of 1 or 2 pixels, how can this be done?
