Why does my Adobe Photoshop program 2.0 refuse to load up and gives an error message personalization information incomplete. I've reloaded it filled out everything . It's older than E mail registration requires either Fax Phone or mail . How can I circumvent that portion of Reg. ?.

Photoshop CS3
Photoshop CS3 was all working so well until it stopped opening PSD format files that I had previously created.
I can open a JPG file but not a PSD file.
When I open a PSD file I get a messgae box "Could not complete your request because of a Program Error"
If I create a NEW USER ACCOUNT in widows VISTA, photoshop opens the same PSD files correctly.
Therefore there must be something wrong with files associated with MY windows user account.
I have looked at, and compared, user account files associated with Photoshop, even tried replacing the photoshop related files in my user account with those from the new user account.
I was not able to load the program due to a limited space on my C drive, the program would not allow mew to change to anoither drive event thought it says select another drive, now it states that the program is in the process of loading even though I've rebooted twice.

I receive an error message "installer failed to intialize" Download support advisor This leads me to error message CPSID 82829s5 Missing install bootstrapper go to adobe cleanup. This tells me to download cleanup tool and uninstall photoshop and activate the cleanup tool (it notes that it works for c s5 and 5.5 and does not mention cs6) If I uninstall CS6 I will lose all my actions and keyboard shortcuts.

I restarted my pc, and the Photoshop CS6 crashed, then after restarting the PC Adobe Photoshop CS6 was trying to open the autosave from last time, and then it showed me this error: Could not apply the saved panel configuration,resetting to default.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems opening photoshop CS3 after a clean install. I have deactivated my CS3 product on my old computer, that run on windows XP. With my DVD installed on my new computer that runs on windows 7. After the installation, I tried to open photoshop to activate. When the program stats to open and freezes almost instantly. I have to open the task manager to close the program that appears not responding.
My new computer is a Workstation, S5000XVN Intel motherboard, 24 Gb of Ram, NVidea Quadro 2000.
I have got a number of photoshop files which i cannot use because i dont have Photoshop. So i downloaded the trail version of Photoshop (MacOSX) to convert them to something that i can use with other programs. What file format can i export them to?
I need a format that keeps all the information about the layers and all the other stuff - So i guess this is called workable file. What format does exist in Photoshop so that i can export it for later use with any other (means NON-Adobe) programm? URL....

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an issue with PSP x5 on my Win-XP pc. When I exit the program, it won't load in again. if I open the Task manager. I can see that PSP is still loaded in memory. I can manually unload it and it will start properly the next time. I can use it on my Win-7 pc without the problem.

It doesn't give me error reason why only says it has stopped working and it can't detect a problem so it closes. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the program but the Adobe Application Manager is also acting weird. When it is opened it freezes and soon crashes saying there is a "Download Error".

The problem is that my Palette title is now "gtPalette" which I do not want. However if I change

to
PaletteSet("GunTech Cogo", MYGuid)
Then what occurs is that when Acad (actually I'm using Civil 3D 2012) start it trys to execute a command called 'GunTech' and then one called "cogo'. Cogo being a valid Civil 3d Command brings up the Cogo dialog. If I then type the command gtPalette it appears in the correct location.
Currently on my development PC the first code works perfect and brings up a palette that even has the correct title of "GunTech Cogo". this info has presumable been saved with the GUID in my previous attempts to get the code to work.
I am using PS 5.1. The cloning stamp tool has never worked.
If I alt/opt and click to attempt to select my source for cloning it does nothing. There are no presets on the cloning stamps and all settings are at zero.
I am running a MAC OS X recently updated system. I use a MS compatible wireless key board. All other PS short cuts works with this key board and always have I just have to use the PC short cuts. The only item changed in preferences for CS 5.1 is the way my mouse is display with crosshairs.
On a Mac -- CS6..All of a sudden my document windows refuse to resize. I was sent an Illustrator file by another artist and now all windows only open to the size of his window. Can't change any of them.
Tried restarting the program twice and thought I reset my preference.
For the whole project we’ve had this issue, however it’s never effected our drawing until now.
When we receive an background, we use setbylayer to change everything to by layer, then in the layer manager, set the layer colour to 8, so all is grey.
Then we xref that background dwg into our model drawings and doodle all over the thing, pretty standard stuff.
But today, in our model drawing, I’d like to change, well, any of the xref’s layer colours, but I cannot! As soon as I make a change, it reverts back to the original ‘8’ colour. It refuses to change colour.
I’ve changed visretian from 0 to 1, open, closed, changed it again, all combinations but to no avail.
I can freeze, turn off & on layers, just not change the colour (or lineweight).
I want to attach an xref of "12015.01 - 69 East Ave BB02", but AutoCAD gives me the following error:
Error: "12015.01 - 69 East Ave BB02" is already a standard block in the current drawing. *Invalid*
First I checked to make sure there were no referenced blocks or xrefs in the drawing. I then attempted to purge the following blocks:
"12015.01 - 69 East Ave BB00"
"12015.01 - 69 East Ave BB01"
"12015.01 - 69 East Ave BB02"
Nothing happens. I click on "View items you cannot purge" and highlight any of those blocks and this is what I get:
This block definition cannot be purged if:
-- It is nested inside another block.
-- It is inserted in the drawing.
-- It is an attached xref drawing.
If I copy and paste the drawing into a new file, the blocks does not copy over, so it is obviously a problem with the file and not the drawing (if that makes any sense). I would simply replace the file, but all of my CD's Xref those three files and I don't have the time to go through and re-insert all of them.
My paintbrush tool does nothing more than place a hairline path along where I've drawn. I've tried editing the stroke settings, changing brushes, ect, nothing is working. This isn't actually limited to just the paintbrush tool, but all of my drawing tools. I'm just baffled about why Illustrator is absolutely the most user-unfriendly piece of software I've ever drawn in.

The computer is a new HP desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 operating system. My Elements 8 does everything I need except for the photo sharing so I don't really want to purchase a new version.

Regardless if I approve this dialog or not Adobe Photoshop starts up with every menu option grayed and I can do nothing. I have to force quit the application. At this point it is 100% unusable.
I've googled it and seen others with a similar issue but no solutions found. I have OSX 10.8.3.
Others with similar issues. URL....No real solution other than don't use Mac Keeper (which I do not) URL....

After download and permission to continue under user account control, I receive popup menu advising me that Installation Incomplete, close Adobe Bridge - 3 choices, which always fail. My Adobe CS4 and Bridge are not open. I tried this several times with the same result.I downloaded the zip file, saved, unzip, and still get the same notice - close Bridge.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a project that suddenly won't load. I have 25 versions of it, I save it under a new file name each time in case I need to go back to an older version.
Trouble is most of the versions won't load! Only the very early versions will load. Some of the later version start to load then disappear.
Hardware hasn't changed on the PC, maybe the video drivers have been updated, thats about it.
