Why do images opened in CR coming with PS CC always show 2 EV to bright? The same images opened with CR coming with my PS CS6 on another machine open almost perfect every time.

View 5 Replies View RelatedRAW images opened in CS2, Bridge or Lightroom have bands of different colors depending on the image and are unusable. Running Windows Vista 32 on Dell Desktop 531 w/2g of ram. Have been searching but haven't found a solution. I have not called Adobe yet.
Lightroom stopped running on Vista 32 windows error message says "Lightroom has stopped running windows is searching for a solution to the problem". At the same time Lightroom works fine on my laptop running Vista 32.
When I go to save my files as a .PNG, .JPG, or any other file type (minus PSD), the images come out way too bright. But just by looking at the shortcut to the image, it looks exactly the same as it does in Photoshop. I'm currently having it at RGB Mode and 8 bit/channel settings. I've tried to mess around with the Color Management settings but with no luck.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have new laptop with Photoshop cs4. I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660M 2G hard drive in the lap top. The colors look great in everything but Photoshop. Everything in Photoshop has a yellowish almost sepia toned tint. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong for several day... (and several hours for several days). I understand that Photoshop color corrects, but if I have de-saturated an image why does it still look sepia in Photoshop and B&W everywhere else?

Images are coming out brighter after export. Here's an example.
Image was shot in ISO 6400. Other images shot at higher ISO are also coming out brighter.Clearly a huge difference. Its quite disturbing.
My images are going gray when I open them.

My issue is:
In CS6 when I double click the photo and open it again in Camera Raw, I can't find a way to save the edits. I mean, if I close the photo in CS6 and open it again, Camera Raw keeps only the edits I made the very first time I opened the photo.
I was using Photoshop CS5 (64-bit) fine yesterday but today each image I open shows a loss of colour, everything looks like a blue tinted grayscale.The same with RAW files opened in ACR and all files opened in Bridge.When I open a JPEG version in Microsoft Image Viewer the colour is fine.In Windows, the thumbnails look fine with full colour in the folders.The loss of colour only happens when the image files are opened in Photoshop, Bridge and ACR.

These files are not added to the LR catalog without re-importing them. This behavior is different than it was in CS5 - in CS5 they are opened as PSD and immediately added to the LR catalog. I want the same bahavior in CS6. In LR I have set preferences to open files as PSD but they are not PSD until they are saved in PS.

We used to use version 4 at work and loads of images drawn, my boss has converted to version 12 but when we open the drawings now all the text is in the wrong place and too big etc.
I have been given the task of fixing them all and wondered if there was an easy fix rather than clicking on each text box and changing each bit one by one, sitting with my fingers crossed.

The command RenderFromFile will render the 3D drawing file at C:TempRender.dwg (see this file from attachment), and then write the output image to Render.png at the same folder. The rendered image is on the top view and has visual materials.
The command RenderCurrentView will render the current open 3D drawing, then write the output image to C:TempRender.png. The rendered image is on 3D view and does not have visual materials.
Both two commands call the same shared method RenderToFile(), but their output images are different. I don't know why they are different?

Images that are opened or psds that are imported are resized into an artboard that is smaller then the image. With raster image formats, the following behavior occurs:
For a jpg that is 1000x800px an artboard is opened at 1000x800px and an additional artboard at 360x288px with the actual raster image is created.
When I open a high resolution image in Ai they look somewhat distorted and choppy. They are jpeg files that I am placing in order to envelope distort onto a mesh. For some reason any bitmap image I open with Ai looks like this. However, when I open the same image with Acrobat Pro or Ps the image looks perfect. Images are RGB in both apps.

There most be something in Illustrator that is causing this. Images are being embedded and cannot be linked since they need to be distorted. I am runnung CS6 on Intel iMac Maveriks.

I go to bridge to get an image. Can be RAW or JPEG. I know the files are good since I used them on CS3.
When I open the image, I get the "box" that the image is in, the image name in the upper left corner and a grayed out box. There is NO image however.
Now if I grab the box and move it, the image shows up, but once I ungrab the box, the image goes away.
So it just isn't displaying the image.
How can I show two images open in Photoshop CS6 - next to each other?
Going through the screen modes by pressing F like in Photoshop CS5 doesn't get me there. That screen mode with the floating windows seems to be missing. I need it for comparisons and for dragging layers between the two images.
Is the floating window screen mode achievable in CS6 or how else can I put two opened images next to each other on Photoshop's workspace?
After installeing CS4, all my images now look darker in PS. They all look at least 20% darker. I still have CS3 installed, and when I look into CS3, they images now also look darker. But when I flip back to Windows, all images look ok.
I thought it might be Adobe gamma - which I had disabled previously because it conflicts with my color spider calibrator. Sinec installing CS4, I looked in the startup folder of windows, but Adobe Gamma is not there... So I wonder what could possibly be affecting the way the images are showing in PS.
I tried a few different proofing methods in PS, but to no avail (only MAC proofing shows the image closer to what it should look like, but it's still not it).

the only time i see the picture is when i hold on the mouse but the soonest i let it go it goes back to black.
Running Lightroom 4.3 on Vista, I cant pass processed Canon EOS 6D RAW images to Photoshop CS4. when selecting to edit in CS4, Photoshop runs but no image appears. There is no error message. In Lightroom Photoshop editor preferences it makes no difference whether I select PSD of TIFF. Is thsi because CS4 is passed an incompatible RAW file... if so whyt no error message?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I open a picture in photoshop, the window is not big enough to show it all. When I drag it to my retina monitor on my laptop, it scales down. Why can't adobe figure this stuff out? It used to be that your image would open as large as possible on your monitor, and would show the entire image.
If it was larger than your monitor could display, it would scale it to 66.7% or 25% etc so it would fit. I liked that better than this way - now you just see the top corner of your image and have to drag the window larger to see it.
I recently downloaded and installed Photoshop and I am having trouble opening anything. Any image that I try to open wont show up,I can see if fine in the thumbnail on my layers palette but nothing on my actual workspace. Sometimes it will open but it will only show part of the image and as soon as I try to move it or even click on it, it disappears. Also if I open the image in a separate tab and try to drag it to my original work space, it will show up in pieces or sometimes like a tiled image. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Im hoping it is a setting or something simple..
