View 1 Replies View RelatedI built an animated sequence in Photoshop 5, but when I try to add a new frame to the end of it in PS6, that last frame appears in plastered over all the frames before it. Is there something that I have to click on or off to keep that image on the one frame, instead of propigating it ot every frame?

except i want just the wire-frame of the diamond, not actual shading, and also maybe have the diamond rotated 45 degrees to the left.
I have used earlier versions of VS in the past with virtually no issues , last version wbeing VS11 Plus. I recently "Upgraded" to VS Pro X2 and am trying to burn my first project with it. During the share stage, trying to make a DVD I get the message "Some chapter entry frame numbers exceed the total frames" and NO I did not edit the project after adding the chapters in the share stage. Seems from google searches that this is an old issue for which Ulead issued a patch in earlier versions, but it is back! One post suggested creating a video file of the whole project then importing that without creating a new project then sharing it and adding chapters.
I tried that and found that the audio for the second half of the project got dropped. If you press Info on the DVD player it displays Dolby 3/2 on the TV screen, but the AVamp shows no Blue Dolby multichannel light and detects no audio streams available. This dropping of audio occurs at a transition between two clips in the original project. The "missing" audio is present in the mpeg file created, and you can hear it if you play the file in the "Edit" tab. It simply does not get carried over to the disc burn. I tried twice. ANyway, that is a secondary issue and I'm not too bothered about that. I would much rather get a fix for the Chapter frame numbers issue and thus avoid the video file creation process.
I have tried taking a few frames out of each clip and re-rendering the whole project again to no avail. I have also tried deselecting two pass conversion.
This is regarding a error message by Video Studio Pro X5 understanding a fault message which I got after creating a DVD map. This is the original message in Dutch: "Sommige startframenummers van hoofdstukken zijn groter dan het aantal frames". 533:-2147216477:0 Translation: "Some start frame numbers of chapters are greater than the number of frames"
This was also discussed here - but I can not understand the solution: viewtopic.php?t=24055&p=120629
The situation: I have all the same video files (H.264, 24 bits, 25.000 f/s) [worked with this kind of files a couple times and worked alway very well] I have added some tekst and pictures. Total length of video is 01:50 hour. Starting the procedure DVD creating, with burning the DVD folders on my harddisc. Afther the burning proces I got the fault message.
After creating the DVD map I got the fault message (as describbed above) and found on my harddisc the VIDEO_TS folder with 5 files VTS_01_1 till VTS_01_5. The total time of these loose files is ca. 76 minutes. So I missed a hughe chunk. I got the same fault message when I have created chapters within the videofile but also when I created chapters later at the video menu.
When I do not burning a DVD folder but select creating a video file (DVD-video) than I get separated end files instead of just one big file. Maybe this has the same cause?
I want to rotate a layer, in this case the background. The Help says "Choose Edit > Transform > Rotate. A box defining the boundaries of the layer (called a bounding box) appears." No. There is no such command. There is a command Free Transform Path and a menu Transform Path, the latter with a command Rotate, but this refers to paths, not to layers.
This is CS5, version 12.1-64 on Mac 10.6.8
I just got started using Photoshop and can't see to figure out a way to rotate just one layer, such as text, rather than the entire canvas.
I would like to be able to place it on a diagonal.
When creating a new layer and positioning it in the active frame, the position is sometimes wrong when returning to that frame.
Â
1. create multiple frames in the timeline
2. create a layer and position it somewhere in the image
3. view another frame
4. return to the original frame and the position has changed
Â
Positioning the layer again seems to work, it doesn't move by itself when moving between frames, but remains in position.
Every time I rotate a layer, that layer is copied and then rotated. How do I just rotate a layer without making copies? i'm using CS5 with the latest updates.
View 2 Replies View Relatedis it possible to rotate a text layer not by the free transform option? can we do it (for example) precisely 90º CW...?
Okay my script to change text frame color changes the color of all text frames hidden or not.
I need it to only change visible text frames.
Â
if ( app.documents.length > 0 ) {
newCMYKColor = new CMYKColor();
newCMYKColor.black = 0;
newCMYKColor.cyan = 0;
newCMYKColor.magenta = 0;
newCMYKColor.yellow = 0;
Â
[Code]...
Â
How to go about making it only change the color of text frames on the active layer? In the final script I will hide all other layers so if it could be done by a visible attribute more easily that would work just as well.
When I open any image, photoshop rotates the image 90 clockwise by itself. All the other programs (even windows imageview) dont do that. Only photoshop does that. I can open the photo in any other application and they are fine, but when I open them in Photoshop CS5, they get rotated.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I am working on a image that I have selected and inverted a compass suddenly appears and rotates the image for me. This can happen to every image or not at all, which makes me think it might be a bug within the software. When it does happen it can be very frustrating as I am usually working on a large number of images and it reduces the amount of images that I can work on.
Â
If I upgrade to CS6 the issue will be resolved? I am using a MacBook Pro 17ins 10.5.8 and it is Mac OSX.
I'm a photoshop newbie and i'm dealing with animated gifs. Lets say I create a new text layer on this animated gif and I want to move it to the last frame. Is there an easier way than what i'm doing now: clicking and holding the layer with my mouse and dragged it to the last frame. I'm asking because sometimes these animated gifs have like 500+ frames and want to know if there is a faster, easier way

The Xara help manual says that the layer frame will go over the previous frame in the animation. However, I haven't been able to get this to work. Clearly, I'm doing something wrong. But what? (or elaborate) on the use of layer frames in a Xara GIF animation?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a five-frame animation to which I would like to add a background and I don't have enough GIMP knowledge to do it myself, so I've been trying to use the merge-anim script (URL...). When I use it under Debian Linux, with GIMP 2.6.10 (I have also tried it with GIMP 2.6.11 under Windows 7) however, it gives two error messages.
The first is "Plug-In 'Merge layer with others' left image undo in inconsistent state, closing open undo groups."
The second is "Error while executing script-fu-merge-anim: Error: not enough arguments."
The merge never does occur.The script doesn't have any real instructions and I haven't seen any anywhere else (just a number of example results that don't show the steps take), so my first attempt was with all the default values that came up and then other attempts were with changes to various options. None of them made any difference. The error messages were always the same and the script-fu console did not show any messages.
Do any of you know if this script, as old as it is, even still works with GIMP 2.6.10, or is it just a completely dead project that would only work with older versions of GIMP?
If it SHOULD work with GIMP 2.6.10 for Linux or GIMP 2.6.11 for Windows, what I should do to fix these errors and get it to work properly.
If there's no hope for the script, how DO I make a "background" layer the background for each frame of an existing animation. Also, if it makes any difference, the background I'm trying to use is a gradient created by GIMP.
Why some Mtext rotates when I double click on it to edit it in AutoCad LT 2013?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to rotate an image with only one layer, the image rotates but the "window" which contains it does not! I end up with the image rotated 90 degrees, but it's cropped because the window it's in, did not move. That window sticks out with a checkerboard pattern. I've looked in the GIMP manual and gone to YouTube for an explanation on how to use the rotate tool but I couldn't understand the tutorials. how to use the rotate tool successfully? I'm a severe dyslexic with low vision so usually, standard tutorials don't work for me.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem when I try to edit a piece of multitext. This does not happen all the time, but more often than not. When I go to edit the text it will rotate so that is parallel to true east. This is annoying as most of the time my drawings are not made with north being north. In this particular drawing north is pointing south east so whenever I edit a piece of text the text edit box will flip upside down and backwards as true east is south west. It always goes back to the way I had it originally before editing, but it's a pain to type stuff that's coming in upside down and diagonally.
I though the MTEXTFIXED option would solve this but I set it to both 0 and 1 (default being 2) and it did not stop the text from rotating when being edited.
What do I do to keep my text the way it's situated when editing?
When I need to rotate an image a few degrees a grid is displayed over the image, as a guide. However, the grid also rotates, making it a somewhat useless feature.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I enter the MTEXT editing function, then type a letter on any given line of text, that line rotates to the world UCS. This makes typing almost impossible, as the overlapping text can't be read clearly.
