I teach PS CS6 at our school, and we just got new PC workstations for the new semester. We have two network printers: A Ricoh MPC3502 color laser and a Canon iPF5000 inkjet. Both printers work normally when accessed thru Windows, but when I try to print from PS, I get the following error:
After this, the "print" section in the menu is grayed out and no printing is possible. Test prints from Word etc. succeed without any problems.
I recently upgraded to PhotoshopCS5.5 and find that I can't print on my HP Photoshop Premium printer. I'm using a MacBook Pro with Mac OSX 10.6.8. I also am unable to open 2 images at the same time.Â
I'm on an Intel Mac running OSX 10.8.4 and Photoshop stopped printing to my Brother HL-5050 laser printer. No error messages, no dialogue boxes, it simply prints a blank sheet of paper. I can print from Acrobat, Pages, Word, and Illustrator, but not PS. I tried the usual suspects-trashed the prefs, restarted, replaced the Brother printer drivers, but nothing works.
However, If I switch to a different login ID, I can print normally. That, I assume, means that there's some combination of parts and conditions in my user preferences that are causing the problem, so what are my options?
Photoshop will not print on my epson 837 but will print on other printers and other apps can print on this 837. Â I do get an error message that I should reset the Printer's color management in the Printer's dialog box, but when I click Print to get to the dialog, it just disappears. Â PS - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer on the mac; then again after downloading a fresh driver from epson...though this is unlikely to be the problem since I have now confirmed that every other app prints just fine. Â I deleted all of my paper presets and tried making new ones... I keep getting this error msg and don't know what it means or how to correct the color sync: Â ColorSync color matching may produce different results than printer color management. Either Photoshop color management or printer color management is recommended.
I am trying to print a psd file via CS4 and I am receiving the following error message: Before you can perform printer-relate tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer I DO have a printer installed and can in fact print out a different psd file.....and print something via Word. I tried to check my page setup for this document but I can't do that either. Any ideas of what might be causing this problem?? I even uninstalled and reinstalled my printer.....and rebooted too. If it matters, I am trying to print to a Canon MP980 printer via a wireless setup. I am running under Vista.
I have Adobe photoshop Elements 11. My question is when I want to print a picture i get a pop-up stating ( The application is unable to intialize the printer settings) I love the software, but I need to be able to print my pictures. I have HP photosmart 7520 e-All-in-one series Printer..
I have just installed Elements 12 and I am unable to print from the editor. I get themessage "There wasan error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and re-opened a document. I can print from all my other programmes and a printer is selected for my computer. How do I resolve this.
i cant seem to set print options on a Mac using Mountain Lion.Where can I find the options such as paper type, resolution and gamma etc. its available when i print from pages but not from PSE9
I'm printing notecards on Moab Entrada 190 wt. bright white paper. I've calibrated the monitor with a Color Munki and downloaded the paper profiles for the Epson 220. When I first printed it came out dark. Then I decided to update the printer driver and print again...no change. Then I added an adjustment layer to brighten the image and print. Two problems came about: the colors all of a sudden had a lavender tint in the grays and the image was smaller. Then, I removed the adjustment layer and the size returned to normal, the darkened image returned and the color shift was gone. How can I get it to print what I see on the monitor, so that it isn't dark? Also, I printed the image in Windows Picture Viewer and it came out fine as I saw it on the monitor!
Question: I have a file in Tiff format (large file 145 MB) that I'm not able to print out of CS6. I've tried to save as JPEG, but have been unsuccessful because it is not an 8bit file.Â
I am unable to print from PSE11 editor. i receive an error message stating 'photoshop cannnot print this document'. I can print standard photos from the organizer but any edits I make in editor are unable to be printed. I have checked the printer, it works fine for every other application. I have uninstalled and re-installed PSE11 but still no luck. The problem appears to have started since I installed a new printer (Epson XP). Photoshop is recognising the new printer from the print screen. Â I have also tried saving my works in other formats (e.g. PDF) and saved to my desktop. I can print these but the quality is quite poor.
I've used Elements in the past, last one being Elements 8. now with E12, i'm unable to print directly to a disc. ive looked under the 'printer setting' ' paper size'Â ' type of printer'Â Â and nothing says CD/DVD or 80mm or 120mm.
I am trying to print a picture package with Adobe Photshop Elements 8. The package size is letter (1)5x7 (4) 2.5x3. When I press print, the package is sent to my printer (an HP Photosmart Premium), but it never prints.
My computer shows it is "printing", but it just remains stuck in the que. I cannot even delete or cancel the jammed print job without shutting off the printer, closing the program, and rebooting my computer.
I can print individual pictures with Adobe Photoshop 8 and I can print other pictures and documents from other applications on my computer. So my computer and printer seem to be communicating and functioning correctly except during the use of APE 8. The problem seems to be a gliche in the adobe program which does not allow me to print photo packages.Â
Why can't I get my Epson Printer to print the colors on the monitor>  First time this is happening.  Printer is new...ink okay...and history with the printer has been okay.  Took some photo's yesterday...blue heron, picking up a fish in a pond.  Water is blue...heron is grey and white and has other yellowish and maroon coloring as well. The fish he caught was a gold fish.  The colors on the monitor are wonderful.  The photo's were cropped severely.  But are still clear.   Now the water is pink...and the heron is a disgusting color of grey green.  Have chosen ICM...chosen Adobe color profile. Used premium glossy white papers, Epson inks.   Tried printing it out without ICM and with different papers....still the same...Either everything is hot pink, or dull gray brown. This was my first ever heron photo that had any merit, and I so want to print it out for everyone to see. I was so lucky to catch the fishing capture. Does the cropping have anything to do with the printing of the photo?
Changed printer from HP to Canon today and cannot get into the print from PSE 9 mac - no image on photo. I re-installed PSE 9 and still the problem remains.
So in CS5 we were able to print to the custom sizes we created in the print screen for our HP Z3200, but for some reason we haven't been able to use the custom sizes in CS6, you click on a custom size and when you say ok from the printer settings and it goes back into Photoshop print settings it binks back to 8.5x11. You can use the standard sizes that came with the HP print software, but not any custom sizes you create. Is there a setting somewhere in Photoshop that I need to change?
I'm unable to get a print preview displayed prior to printing using PSE11 and a Epson Artisan 730 printer. I've ticked the print preview box but the print preview fails to appear and the printer prints the image straight away!
I am working on autoCAD LT 2010 and attempting to print out files originally from 2004. My problem is that I cannot print red or any other hue in the red field. I have gone through and changed the layer, setup and everything else I could think of .
The preview window is also blank. I'm sure I don't have something checked, or have checked something that I shouldn't have, but don't seem to be able to print from LR at all regardless of if I choose a different picture.  I have looked and looked and looked but can't not seem to figure out why it won't print any of my pictures.Â
I'm trying to print in LR4.3. Â Can create collection with one or more photos in it, but when I go over to the print module the photos are always greyed out. Â I-m on OS X, most recent release
I trying to print from autocad LT 2014 in a HPCM1415 printer, but the autocad program is closing after i send the print and shows the message in the Jpeg attachment:
My machine is a Dell precision T3600 with windows 7 professional 64 bits.Â
I am trying to export some artwork as a PDF so I can get it printed, but every time I try to export it I get the attached message. I have tried various times always after a reboot but with no luck.
The file is only just under 7mb in size so I can't figure out why it is doing it.
It is important that I export with layers as I have a cutter guide included so the printer can see where he needs to position the print on the sheet and it is printed on both sides.
I am using an r1900 Epson a3 printer. I am trying to print my images on A3 paper however no matter what settings i change they always appear as a4. I have change the scale, fit to canvas and page set up all with no effect.
Unable to print document on windows CS6.6..Not enough memory was available or an object was too complex. Reducing the size of this document window may work. Document was created on mac book pro CS 16.2.1.
