The preview window is also blank. I'm sure I don't have something checked, or have checked something that I shouldn't have, but don't seem to be able to print from LR at all regardless of if I choose a different picture.  I have looked and looked and looked but can't not seem to figure out why it won't print any of my pictures.Â
I'm trying to print in LR4.3. Â Can create collection with one or more photos in it, but when I go over to the print module the photos are always greyed out. Â I-m on OS X, most recent release
I have recently updated LR to 4.3 and am trying to run a contact sheet. I've specified "Draft Mode Printing" but LR continues to try and render all the images. Each page has 108 cells and I'm working with RAW images so it's taking way to long.  In the past it was able to produce and print these types of contact sheets in just a few moments.Â
Upgraded OS from W7 (64bit) to W8. Â Using Canon Pro 9000 Mk2 printer, unable to select and print borderless prints of any size. Â However, using Elements 11, there is no problem which suggest the problem is confined to LR4.3. Â Have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver w/o success.
Am trying to create custom print layout and am unable to shift selected image within cell. When I hold down control key hand appears on image though will not reposition within cell. Using Windows 7 Pro, LR 4.4, Core I7 2.6, 8 Gig Ram. New to Lightroom
unable to select "printer manages colors" in the print settings, manage colors dialog. The options are grayed out and the default is "color sync". This started yesterday with LR4 so I upgraded to LR5 and it is the same.
I recently upgraded to PhotoshopCS5.5 and find that I can't print on my HP Photoshop Premium printer. I'm using a MacBook Pro with Mac OSX 10.6.8. I also am unable to open 2 images at the same time.Â
I wanted to create an A4 borderless print in my canon mg6150 from within the print module. I can do a borderless print using the canon easyprint. Â I go into page setup and the properties of my printer and set the page layout to borderless and click OK. Â However, I am unable to set the margins to zero. When I go back into my page setup and check the page layout, it has reverted to normal so it has ignored my setting.
I have just bought and installed Lightroom 5 and need to set my print size to A3 and in the future even bigger. I do not have the facility at home and need to have them sized correctly for the print shop so they do not have to waste time resizing them. I am at a loss how to do this. I cant find any settings for this size print. A3 is roughly 42 x 29.7 cm.
I teach PS CS6 at our school, and we just got new PC workstations for the new semester. We have two network printers: A Ricoh MPC3502 color laser and a Canon iPF5000 inkjet. Both printers work normally when accessed thru Windows, but when I try to print from PS, I get the following error:
After this, the "print" section in the menu is grayed out and no printing is possible. Test prints from Word etc. succeed without any problems.
I'm on an Intel Mac running OSX 10.8.4 and Photoshop stopped printing to my Brother HL-5050 laser printer. No error messages, no dialogue boxes, it simply prints a blank sheet of paper. I can print from Acrobat, Pages, Word, and Illustrator, but not PS. I tried the usual suspects-trashed the prefs, restarted, replaced the Brother printer drivers, but nothing works.
However, If I switch to a different login ID, I can print normally. That, I assume, means that there's some combination of parts and conditions in my user preferences that are causing the problem, so what are my options?
I am working on autoCAD LT 2010 and attempting to print out files originally from 2004. My problem is that I cannot print red or any other hue in the red field. I have gone through and changed the layer, setup and everything else I could think of .
I cannot seem to reset the print template screen while in the " Print " module. It has adopted the smallest pic size with three times the normal border. I wish to reset to full screen in print module
How to ADD (almost) white Border around photo(s) to print in print module (not for creating a JPEG)Â WITHOUT TRIMMING the photo? Â Â I dont understand why I'm so stupid not to be able to acheeve this simple task with Lightroom WITHOUT TRIMMING the image (altering it's proportion and cutting away photo-content) Â Â (on light-gray backgrownd for instance, to use as cutting indications. I know how to use cutting-indications for images i print without a border) Â (i do not whant to use workarounds, the kind of preparing "identity plates", a new one each for infinite variations of proportions to use as fullblown-up backgrounds..)
Epson 3880. Lightroom 4. Moutain Lion. All current. Â I am trying to print on 5x7 paper. I set the page setup to 5x7. I have the margins set to .2" on each side. The layout image inside Lr looks exactly how I want it to.Then I print. I end up with a .125" margin on the left and top, and a .625" margin on the right and bottom.
It seems that, no matter how many times i save and update the profile, all the print setting (image size, sharpening, bit depth, color management, ...) are store within the preset, all but the Epson Driver settings, which have to be selected every single time. Â I really can't remember if this bug was present in 4.0 or not (I'm currently running 4.1 RC), but I'm quite sure it was working OK under 3.x. Here's the thing. Â I configure the printing settings and create. a profile: Profile1.I change all the settings and create a second profile: Profile2. The "Print Settings" settings are different, same printer, one for Color (Profile1), one for Advanced B&W (Profile2).I click on Profile1 (which was created with color Print Settings). Clicking on "Print Settings" or "Print", the printer settings selected under the epson driver is the ABW one (the one that belongs to Profile2).I reselect the correct setting from "Print Settings..." (Color).Click "Save" again.Righ-t click on Profile1 -> Update with current Settings. Setting seems to be saved.I then click on Profile2 and bam! The "Print Settings..." seems to be rverted to color instead of ABW.Update the correct settings, back to point #3Â Â Can you reproduce this? This behavior is vanishig the power of the "Print One" button, unless you constantly print with tha same Driver settings. How do I batch print several exposures at one time that differ in orientation (Landscape, Portrait) or print size (4X6 - 8 X10) or both orientation and print size? I currently have Lightroom 2.3 installed on a XP SP3 machine.  I have been unable to find any documentation on this subject.
Photoshop will not print on my epson 837 but will print on other printers and other apps can print on this 837. Â I do get an error message that I should reset the Printer's color management in the Printer's dialog box, but when I click Print to get to the dialog, it just disappears. Â PS - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer on the mac; then again after downloading a fresh driver from epson...though this is unlikely to be the problem since I have now confirmed that every other app prints just fine. Â I deleted all of my paper presets and tried making new ones... I keep getting this error msg and don't know what it means or how to correct the color sync: Â ColorSync color matching may produce different results than printer color management. Either Photoshop color management or printer color management is recommended.
I trying to print from autocad LT 2014 in a HPCM1415 printer, but the autocad program is closing after i send the print and shows the message in the Jpeg attachment:
My machine is a Dell precision T3600 with windows 7 professional 64 bits.Â
I am trying to print a psd file via CS4 and I am receiving the following error message: Before you can perform printer-relate tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer I DO have a printer installed and can in fact print out a different psd file.....and print something via Word. I tried to check my page setup for this document but I can't do that either. Any ideas of what might be causing this problem?? I even uninstalled and reinstalled my printer.....and rebooted too. If it matters, I am trying to print to a Canon MP980 printer via a wireless setup. I am running under Vista.
I am trying to export some artwork as a PDF so I can get it printed, but every time I try to export it I get the attached message. I have tried various times always after a reboot but with no luck.
The file is only just under 7mb in size so I can't figure out why it is doing it.
It is important that I export with layers as I have a cutter guide included so the printer can see where he needs to position the print on the sheet and it is printed on both sides.
I am using an r1900 Epson a3 printer. I am trying to print my images on A3 paper however no matter what settings i change they always appear as a4. I have change the scale, fit to canvas and page set up all with no effect.
